I find so beautiful Tanjiro having 6 incarnations. It's as if his 4 dead siblings and his parents are always with him in his soul

Maristella

I love the peak into Tanjiro’s soul it really physically represents his level of kindness that even if someone is trying to kill him he will still help them. There’s actually six incarnations present possibly presenting his six family members he lost. (His father, then later his mother and four siblings.) perhaps it was just a coincidence but I think not. I just love how much willpower he has as well. Can’t wait to see your reactions next week. (Though I’m not wishing the week away that fast. 😂)

All our boys have such strong will power, even if its shown in different ways (Zenitsu, literally insane). The demon fusing with the train is always a mind trip, like who would guess that. "how do you kill a train?" GREAT question... Also I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but each character has their own OST when they fight! You mentioned the music during Tanjiro's water breathing scene, thats a rendition of his OST. They're of course slightly different for every scene, but they have a familiar structure to recognize it's for them. My personal favorite is Inosuke's. Another small mention (maybe someone said this already) but after Mugen Train, the first episode of the next Arc is over double the time of a normal episode. Just FYI for your filming scheduling purposes. After the movie, they started to make the first (and sometimes last) episodes of a season much longer than a normal episode length.

I love this whole "spiritual chore" thing! It's such a clever and visually awesome way to dive into what's going on inside a character's head. It gives the anime this amazing psychological punch! 🧠🔍 • Tanjiro's inner world is just so peaceful and bright. It totally nails his kind heart, how he never gives up, and how much he wants to keep everyone safe. He's like that anchor of calm and hope, even when everything's going nuts around him.🏞🌞👐🏻 • Zenitsu, though? Yikes. His inner space is all dark⚫️ and creepy😨, which totally makes sense haha. It's like a mirror to all his deep-down worries, his shaky confidence, and how he totally freaks out sometimes. • Rengoku? His whole fiery inner landscape is the perfect representation of his personality, his insane passion, and his spirit that just won't quit💪🏻. The sheer intensity of his inner space totally shows off that "inner fire"🔥🟠🔥. His raw strength, his bravery, and how he's absolutely determined to protect everyone. •And you, Sophie? I'm sure your inner space is like a rare Pokémon: precious, full of surprises, and always ready to cheer you up when you need it! 🎑 Your spiritual chore? Probably like a shiny Poké Ball guarded by your cat, transformed into a giant feline. And if your spiritual chore had to be destroyed by an enemy, it would take a sweet to distract Sully or a rare book that sparks your curiosity to reach it. 🌞🍬🐈📘 Side note: Oh no I forgot to mention my boy Inosuke! 🐗

I remember the first time I saw Tanjro's nightmare with his dead family. It was so creepy it damn near gave ME nightmares!😱

Totally agree with you Maristella, and I love your theory about these 6 incarnations. So spot on bravo! 💯 Wow, I was honestly blown away by that sequence! Tanjiro’s soul is like pure sunshine. Tanjiro’s soul just lights up a stunning, endless blue sky, this breathtaking mental landscape that feels like a comforting hug. 🤗 And then, this incredible scene: a terminally ill boy sneaks into his mind with malicious intent, trying to destroy his spiritual core, his most vulnerable point. And instead of figthing back as most would fairly do, the intruder was guided warmly right to the core by luminescent sprites that personified Tanjiro's own kindness. ARE YOU KIDDING ME❓️FOR REAL⁉️ 😆 I always thought Tanjiro was a kind-hearted kid, but I didn't realize it was to this extent hahaha. And finally tanjiro’s kindness totally melts the boy’s hatred, turning it into tears. It’s such a powerful reminder of how Tanjiro goes above and beyond to protect even those who try to hurt him.

I believe we all have a soft spot for Inosuke's soundtrack 🤩. I've included it in my playlist for my gym sessions.💪

Man, when I was watching the fight on the train for the first time, I really hoped that demon would interfere with Tanjiro's sense of reality. Like the demon can show any dream through his blood demon art. And one has to take their life within a dream to wake up. Now, what if the demon creates a dream state that replicates reality? As Tanjiro drifts into a dream state, he continues fighting the demon on the train. Basically, Tanjiro is fighting demon in both dream and reality. I had hoped this would happen because Tanjiro asks himself in ep 3, what if killing oneself in a dream can also kill them in reality? I think it would have been such an interesting puzzle to solve for Tanjiro, when he is actually dreaming and when he is fighting in reality. What alternative ways could he have thought of rather than taking his life to wake up? Total concentration breathing is one way; maybe, when he can do it, it is reality, and when he cannot, it is a dream. He has to determine this in a split second while fighting a demon. But whole fusing with train is also extremely creative writing tbh.

Since the entire Mugen Train arc has been uploaded, im back :D And your reaction to the demon being fused with the train was hilarious 😆
