Noritoshi Kamo has the same seiyuu as Rengoku: the wonderful Satoshi Hino. 😄 As you continue your anime journey, you will likely hear a lot more from him! And incidentally, Mei is voiced by the legendary Kotono Mitsuishi, who is the original voice of Sailor Moon. Lastly, RIP Atsuko Tanaka (Hanami). 18:19 This is a reference to an old anime, GTO - Great Teacher Onizuka.

I said at the beginning of the series that I really like it, so-called cursed spirits are created from negative emotions/experiences, but as for the power system, where FMAB uses so-called science, there isn't too much creativity used in this series, when I first watched it, the kamo technique was one of those things I wouldn't have expected

The cursed spirit that talks backwards is the first time my weird childhood obsession with learning how to read and write backwards has ever been useful. Some small part of me finally feels vindicated.

Yea, all of the clans have different techniques. Not just one specific technique.

The old, conservative and traditional man having a rock inspired technique is just inspired. It really makes me wonder about the kind of person he might've been in his youth. Continuing on the fun gender commentaries in this series from last episode, the special grades are all almost certainly sexless, yet, being the product of human emotions, I always find it interesting to see the genders we naturally tend to associate them as, and I think Gege refraining from using any gendered language for them and leaving it up to interpretation is quite intentional. Voice and appearance are obviously factors, so people are generally quite split on Hanami, but I think a feminine interpretation makes a lot of sense with the whole 'vengeful mother nature' vibe they give off. I also find it fun that Mahito is depicted in a feminine light in this juju stroll. A gender fluid interpretation for Mahito makes so much sense to me considering the nature of Mahito's technique and the negative feelings they represent.

It's actually impressive how quickly you catch things that others completely ignore. The pausing is great too, Jujutsu Kaisen throws so much information at you. I personally used to rewatch scenes after episodes just to catch up with all the explanations. Whenever someone pauses because they're genuinely invested, it always makes me smile. Keep up the good work! The further you go, the more you'll love this show, I can guarantee it!

the punk rock grandpa is so funny - and totally unexpected! But it suddenly made him a much deeper character like "yeah, I can totally see him finding his style in his 20's and honing it". so it's no longer just "Scheming evil old man" but "old man that is set in his ways now and does what he think is right - even if we disagree". Kinda like the blood guy (sorry I am even worse with names). He is doing what he thinks is rights, regardless of his morals. So very much not Black and white. Also when he revealed his method/instrument I just realized that for me seeing him in piercings was completely normal. and my brain just logged it as religious or ceremonial pieces - and then the reveal and the entire character is suddenly redesigned.

I just have to point out a silly tidbit. Noritoshi Kamo (the guy fighting Megumi) is also Rengoku's Voice actor. And here he says "You and I are the same" whereas the last episode of DS you just watched, Rengoku argues the opposite. Funny timing 😂 opposing characters being played.

The jujusanpos are so fucking funny, wdym the anime has a funy hisgh school slice of life romance extra with 4 of the big scaryy enemies as the protagonists. Like who thinks of that 😭😭, and the fact that they are in the episode itself lol. The only other one i can think that does it is Naruto Shippuden at the beginning. Some animes used to do it but only as extras for the dvds.
