-The kid running in terror from dream Innousuke never fails to make me laugh. What better way is there to say GTFO of my space 😅. Zenitsu was hilarious as well. Didn't quite understand what the pitch black darkness meant but I can only interpret it as him getting shit done irl while hes asleep. -And Zenitsu charging in to save Nezuko is one of my top 3 favourite from this arc. He really took care of her throughout the second half. His care for the box that meant more to Tanjiro than his own life did not stop in season 1 💛 -People talk a lot about the pain of knowing a pet isn't gonna be there long, but the idea of leaving one behind is a special kind of devastating. They didnt have to show the crow crying(more of a companion/assistant than pet but still), but I thought it was a perfect way to twist the knife after all that happened 😅🥲 -Lower 1 always seemed OP to me no matter how many times I watch. If he'd lived he probably would have went up in the ranks

You can probably say your own opinion on why some wanted you to watch the Extra Rengoku episode before vs after the Mugen Train Arc. Some say that the extra episode afterwards gave more impact to Rengokus death, as that first episode you get to know him as a character, so it hurts more, like an extra stab to the heart after he's already gone. To me personally, I think either order gave the same impact.....the result is still the same 😭 With all the discussion of Tanjiro and his empathy towards demons, I have to admit I did get some satisfaction that Lower One did not even get that respect 😂 we didn't even get his backstory, and honestly, that's fine with me. I am of a belief that while many o the demons we've met had tragic stories to lead them here, not all demons are this way, and not all deserve empathy; we saw him for who he was, and that's okay. This may not be the best time to admit this, but Akaza is my favorite demon. (Obviously, not for his actions, will never forgive him for Rengoku). I LOVE his character design, his OST, his VA, techniques, and martial arts fighting style! I love the discussion you had about Akaza's respect towards Rengoku even though of course he was still going to kill him. Respect towards one's skills does not equal pardon afterall. But they were indeed a great match for each other in this regard. Hope you get to sit with this Arc for the next week and recover as we gear up to the Entertainment District! You're going to love it 🧡

I forgot to mention it on the final episode, but since I bet Nezuko wasnt asking Muzan to turn her into a demon, that you probably dont need consent to do it, and also that a couple (all? i think) of demons have said that they dont remember their lives, so its safe to asume that Akaza could have just turned Rengoku and the other pillars that he mrntions (himself or by taking him to Muzan idk) but he was just constantly asking, and even if he was very insistent, he then actually accepted the no.
