Sorry if I've been a little quiet lately with my videos - tad exhausted mentally and with the heat.

YouTube has been a bit of a rough place for me recently with incessantly mean comments every time I express an opinion or try to analyse anything react wise regardless of the show. Just gets a bit tiring trying to engage and motivate myself to film and react.

I'll do better next time <3

i love that you said the cursed womb brothers are blood bonded. their techniques being blood based really drives home that they lived for each other. my heart does break for them. i love this show. you know it’s good story telling when you get less than an episode of these characters but they still resonate so much with the audience

i know a lot of people are saying it but to add on, granted i only watch your jjk and i watched your chainsaw man reactions but these two shows i care about a lot because so many people insist that the stories are bad especially with jjk. You are one of the very few people who i enjoy listening to because you get the depths of jjk. You always have so much to add and interesting perspectives. One of the main reasons why I rarely engage in fandom discussions anymore is because of the fandom. Shounen, in particular, have very toxic and loud fans. Honestly I think you should avoid JJK comments on YouTube. The comments are gonna get worse unfortunately(Wish we could tell you but it would be spoilers, if you knew why you would laugh trust me). There's just certain animes that attract negative comments (I'm sure you don't see that on Witch Hat Atelier for example 😂). You have the community here on Patreon to talk to so stick with us 😁. You have to be a real asshole to pay for Patreon just to make negative (not constructive) comments 😂. Also it is OK to not say anything during reactions. Reactions isn't all about speaking your mind, but just seeing your physical reaction even when you are speechless and in awe of what's going on is good enough for us because we were the same way too watching for the first time. Trust me there will be A LOT of those moments in season 2 so just take it all in and don't force yourself to feel the NEED to say something during a moment.

You'd actually be surprised! JJK has been relatively chill. Chainsaw Man has been very intense with heavily dislikes and negativity that me and the mods have had to remove! That's primarily where the influx has occurred from :') But yes - Patreon is such a lovely environment! It's why I have no issue reading comments here and hold back a bit more on YouTube!

All the other comments are spot on, the anime community can be especially toxic for no reason sometimes. It’s nice seeing you break things down and try to analyze the characters, plots, symbolism or whatever. Even if the predictions or analysis aren’t 100% accurate it’s still nice to see different view points of the story. A fun fact about the Death Paintings (no spoilers of course). The reason Choso looks more human than his brothers is because the author used the Buddhist paintings “Nine stages of decay” as inspiration when designing them. Choso is stage one which is a fresh corpse, and as the stages progress they look less and less human.

I don't think you were unsually quiet or silent in this video; your analysis was on point, observant, and eloquent as usual. Regarding YouTube comments, honestly, in an ideal world, you would have granular control over how people interact with your content. And I don't know why companies create such systems for creators. After all, creators are bringing all the traffic to YouTube or other platforms. If someone is being rude, spiteful, hateful, creators should be able to give them a break from posting comments under their videos, like maybe a week or ten days. With each misconduct, the duration can increase or even a permanent ban option should also be available for creators. These companies earn all the profits in the world, but they don't care about community experience. You have every right to have this control within your hands, Dr Sophie. I am sorry you have to go through this on daily basis.

A little late, but I want to throw out that I appreciate these videos a lot; people underestimate how much work and effort go into them. The majority of people watch and enjoy your videos and silently go about their day, leaving a lot of the rude and loud minority to stick around and leave hateful comments. Just know that most of us love and support your content, or else we wouldn't be here (again, mostly). If you feel like you want/need a break or to take a breather, please do so; your quality is worth any wait.

im very sad to announce there are no more jujusanpos :( fun facts: the meji era comes prior to the taisho era (which as u know, its demon slayer time), so the most vile jujutsu sorcerer is from before 1912, at the very least. theres a collection of 9 paintings of the 9 stages of decomposition the body passes trough acording do buddhists. each death womb is one step further into the decay, and just my theory, but i think every one of them is a month older than the last, and only 3 became special grades bc a baby only has a chance at living from like month 7, whether that means the special grades are 1-3 (bc closer to death --> spirit) or 7-9 (bc closer to living --> "human") idk. i remember some grat tumblr posts explaining them but they have spoilers so no link for u, sadly i hope you can ignore the youtube comments, as they can be very stupid sometimes, try to remember that regardless of what they say, its you who has created this patreon, with its good vibess and nice discussions, and that there are a ton of those who love your content (not to mention that the comments probs come from the loud minority that just loves to scream stupid shit)

you are genuinely the best reaction channel and the only one i’d ever subscribe to a patreon for because your thoughts and theories are so interesting and you dont fake your reactions to series! i wouldn’t give the rude comments any mind as there are many idiots out there and someone will always have something bad to say. that being said, its still truly understandable to feel unmotivated because of them and its easy to get discouraged by even just one mean comment. but there are the majority of us who love your content and will stick around while those jobless losers learn to just click off and watch something else after letting steam off from their negative lives. thank you for doing what you do!

Anyway, onto the episode and some clarifying info The 9 Death Wombs are cursed objects that can be incarnated into a host vessel, hybrids of man and Curse. They are the aborted fetuses of their mother, the girl who could bear a Curse’s child. The oldest three are classified as Special Grade, and were taken by Mahito. The rest are still in cold storage. In Japanese culture, the Death Paintings represent stages of decay, with Choso being the first, and the next stages being Eso and Keichizu, and so on. This is why Choso looks so “normal” compared to the other two.

sorry about the youtube stuff (along with the heat). fandoms can often be quite insufferable regarding reactions to stuff they've already seen. for some reason, a lot of them will treat anyone new like an idiot for simply being a little confused or even just theory crafting, because they themselves already know what's happening and what's going to happen. it's weird to me because one of my favorite things about watching people experience stuff I already know is watching them go through it fully blind without knowing what's up next, working it out on their own time and seeing how they interpret everything that's happening, as opposed to someone who already knows what's going to happen overexplaining for no reason. I don't know how fans like this don't realize they're actively driving new people away from the work and fanbase with their obnoxious behavior. love your reactions and analysis, including JJK which I myself am just now getting into. hope the negative comment outliers don't get you too down. nothing wrong with taking a break from reading youtube comments in general if it ends up being too much. keep up the good work! <3

I would seriously consider simply not reading the YouTube comments from this point on. Even disregarding any assholes, JJK fandom is notorious for not being able to keep their mouths shut about upcoming things. Unfortunately you will almost certainly get spoiled by the manga readers. Plus a LOT of people fail to understand that giving hints is also spoiling. Or alternatively you need a moderator to go through the comments and compile them to you without any of that nonsense in them, but honestly the most practical option is to just not read them.
