I think it’s interesting that in the way Nezuko assumed her full demon form, which was an intense anger at Daki, she nearly fell into the trap that other demons did. She began to enjoy the power she had over the demon, and it spiraled out of control and nearly ended with her killing someone. Like their brother said, the siblings get scary when angry! We’ve finally met Gyutaro! He is quite a surprise, and reactors do not expected it and are totally shocked. The moment Daki calls for her brother is a universal canon moment at this point! It shows how much bigger of a threat they both are now. And now we have another pair of brother and sister and serve as an interesting comparison to Tanjiro and Nezuko! Another great reaction, I enjoyed hearing your discussions!

Hi Sophie! Finally, Gyutaro's here! His existence is only foreshadowed by Daki's ability to take other beings into herself! And that they can stay conscient while being inside of her too, because we saw her talking to herself before and I think we all assumed she was talking to her obi. But it could as well be talking to Gyutaro too! One other parallel I love about the sibling pairs is that Nezuko stay on Tanjiro's back while Gyutaro appears from Daki's! I hope you are enjoying this arc as much as I enjoy your reactions <3

I was kicking my feet when you noted the previous episode how Daki got a similar hair with Nezuko because yes, aside from that, they're also similar in that they both have older brothers! :D Can't wait for you to see how interesting a foil Daki and Gyutaro are to Nezuko and Tanjiro. :>

Great react! On one of your previous reacts, I wrote down a few things you said because I wanted to respond to them, but I couldnt without spoiling this episode. __In 2x11, you brought up:__ 1. When Daki was kidnapping the Oiran, you wondered if there were actually 2 demons in one, and that's how Inosuke could be chasing a demon in one house while Tanjiro was confronting Daki in another. Your guess might have had more to do with Daki splitting the belt off of herself into a separate entity, but you did actually say two demons in one! Even after the belt reveal, I wanted to wait for THIS reveal before bringing that up. 2. At the same time, you wondered how things were moving through the walls and how they were kidnapping people, and you theorized on a "weird 3rd space that can only be accessed by her that can be absorbed by the fabric." It was shown in one of the last episodes you got that exactly right!

"Inosuke's become number one for me character-wise. He's just amazing." Yay! Me too. And the voice actor really adds so much. The english VA is not bad by any means, but the japanese one is PERFECT. Especially that laugh

Yeahhh remember when we were like "Nezuko would NEVER harm a human she's different" well. She came so so close. If Tanjiro hadn't gotten there in time...she would've turned down a path of no return, let alone having to be killed herself. She almost REALLY embodied her demon side, and you can have even more of an understanding from the Hashira why they didn't trust her at first. Tengen's scolding was definitely warranted 😂 Granted, she was put through EXTREMES in this fight that she's never dealt with before. But it begs the question how will she and Tanjiro handle things moving forward, so that she doesn't get to this point again. SURPRISE! We have a two-in-one demon! Truly terrifying when we've been witnessing Daki's power growing stronger and stronger, how unmatched she was against Tanjiro. But her brother's even WORSE....there are reasons why Upper Ranks haven't changed in so long. Their power scale is truly unmatched. Honestly though Gyutaro is super cool. Inosuke is ALSO my favorite! (After Tanjiro) I love his chaotic nature

Something a lot of people miss is that, up to this point, Nezuko hasn't gotten to grieve for her family. Not once have we seen her cry since she became a demon. This episode really encapsulates how important it is that Nezuko is actually able to feel emotions such as sadness and grief. I love it.

Gyutaro is here!!! This is one of the reveals that makes this arc my favourite in the story! The brother-sister dynamics between Gyutaro-Daki and Tanjiro-Nezuko is fascinating to me so I’m really glad you pointed it out. Nezuko crying after remembering her mother’s lullaby broke my heart. They’re just kids…
