Today we walked the Glen Nevis and Polldubh Falls route which was amazing! Here is the route if you were interested… https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/glennevis.shtml

It was a lot longer than we anticipated but it was such a a amazing route along the peaceful tranquil river.

We met a lady with a drone doing some aerial photography. A man on a bike who scared the shit out of me 😂(I was talking to Miko in a really embarrassing baby voice and had no idea he was behind me…) and then some local people walking their dogs and stopped for a chat (what is it about Scotland that EVERYONE is absolutely LOVELY?!)

It was about -1 Celsius today but once we got going we soon warmed up! Apparently there is snow forecast this week but we shall see!

Highlights of the day were : I made friends with a Robin….and I fell in a bog 😂

Chilling now in the “library” of the hotel (well there are about 20 books and a piano) and I am nearly falling asleep 😴

More to come tomorrow! ❤️

Such an incredible place

Awesome :) I went part way up Ben Nevis. Far enough to get some beautiful photos. Ben Lomond was the only Munro I bagged on my trip.

what a lovely day! New ASMR idea; talking to the camera like we are Miko. 🤣🤔🤷‍♂️

Man I miss going for nature walks with Rosie. She was the perfect travel partner. She didn't chase deer, she didn't really chase anything. She didn't have that strong of a predator instinct. Plus I taught her to stay by me and obey my commands at ALL times. (I really miss her) I have Bagheera now but she has that PREDATOR instinct. She will definitely chase anything. If we go for big walks she'll have to be on leash and stay on it, unfortunately. Idk if I can train her like I did Rosie. We were honestly blessed with Rosie. Bagheera presents quite the challenge. I don't have the time I used to either to spend the time and REALLY work with her. Ugh... the world of the working man has its downsides. ANYWAYS sorry for the rant. I'd love to go hiking there. That'd be fun AF!!

My experience of Scotland is similar - everyone seems lovely.
