Today (well yesterday 😂) we took a trip to The Dalness Estate in Glencoe to view the stunning scenery the location had to offer.

Normally with location scouts for films, you spend days, even weeks, looking for the perfect location and often just settle with “something rather than nothing” in the end as you just run out of time.

We were so lucky to find this location right off the bat which ticked all the boxes for us in both story and production.

Highlight of the day: being within touching distance of HUGE Fallow deer stags (the image doesn’t do it justice!)

Check out the turf house the National Trust built last year if you get a chance.

That stag looked great! I love running into wildlife. And I've got a story that IS literally in touching distance of a white tail buck..... LITERALLY! I'll send you the story later privately. It's long lol

That brings back memories. I'm surprised you didn't do the compulsory visit to Black Rock Cottage. It must be the most photographed location in the area. There is a joke among Scottish photographers: it's so often photographed that when you get there you find the wholes for the tripod.
