Suggestion chat
But fun way of putting encounters together
Hey! So… Hags are my favourite type of enemy in 5e, followed by the whole Undead brigade (amongst which we’ll find the dracolich). I can’t be more pleased ahah!
A fun concept though, for sure!! Thank you for the suggestion (and for your transparency regarding the potential commission, it’s appreciated).
I have no idea how you found this chat. I was waiting for something on the Patreon side before officially opening it. Glad you inaugurated it though!
No worries. I thought you launched it amd no had comments for you yet, so figured I’d start the ball rolling
AaaaAAAND IT IS LAUNCHED! Officially this time lol!
Just as a reminder, my current suggestion list includes :
So far, my list includes :
-
Desert maps in general (canyon, caves, creature burrows)
-
Eldritch prison
-
Grand library
-
House on fire
-
Flying islands
-
Planar towns (Sigil, the City of Brass, etc.)
-
Mixed creatures Lairs
Planning for September is already done and almost done for October. Opened to all suggestions for November! :P
Elven and dwarf maps covering basics such as elven Tavern, dwarven barracks, etc. We get so much variety for human settlements but I find there are less elf and or dwarf versions of most settlement buildings out there.
I have an elven + dwarven Grand Library in the works! :D
Barracks are something I was considering doing… yesterday lol
Definitely adding one to the list with variants for elven, dragonborn, drow and dwarven
Amazing!
Just a heads up, Eledryll, the download link for Mountain Road tier 1 downloads the files for Mountain Pass instead.
Hey! Sometimes Patreon send me an email alert for chat messages… sometimes it decides not too. Absolutely sorry for the long delay! I’m fixing it right now. Thank you so much for the warning!
In case you ever need it, the Atlas for each tier has every zip for each tier!
All right! Both tier 1 links should be fixed now! :)
Hi! I just wanted to say that I love your maps, and the fact you’ve made so many of them at a consistently high level of quality in such a short time is amazing.
I was wondering if you’re familiar with the Arcane Library 5e modules. I’ve been running them for my group and my players love them, but while their maps are good, they don’t quite match the level of detail and atmosphere you bring.
I think their dungeons would translate really well into your style and could be a great addition to your collection. My favorites of theirs are the dungeons for Temple of the Basilisk Cult, Shadows of Lastwatch Keep, The Shadow Sorcerers, and Fires of Iskh.
I may also reach out about commissioning a few specific ones once my budget allows it, but I figured I’d suggest them here since other patrons might enjoy them too.
Hope you’re having a great day! :)
Hello. Love your maps ! I was looking for wild beyond the witchlight maps please. I did see there was a collection at one point but cannot seem to find them in search on collections. Please can you let me know if they are still here 🙏 have a game soon. Thank you so much ❤️
Hi Bobby! Still struggling with Patreon notifying me of every creator I know doing discounts but not new messages on my own chat. Sorry for the super late reply!
I started mapping Witchlight when I ran it a few years ago. I stopped just before Endelyn’s Theater. Would love to eventually make it one day but A - I like time and B - I mostly moved away from IP maps to make things simpler.
Bavlorna’s Cottage and Skabatha’s workshop are on the Patreon though. Let me know if you need further help!
Just going to throw it here, hopefully it picks your curiosity :
Not a lot of map makers draw the Underdark - and it’s a shame, it has a limitless potential to be both creepy and the most beautiful, filled with wonders place on the planet.
I have a few Underdark maps (Emberlight, Byroad Bastion, Abyssal Passage, Spellbound Burrows, Zarakhas Lost Sanctum, etc.) but I can always make more. I love the setting!
Good news. It’s no Motherhorn but the Hall of Mirrors with a bit of the Witchlight Carnival is currently in works and shoulb be released this week, alongside a collab with JamesRPG Art! I’m thinking you might be passed this point, but JUST in case I thought I could ping you!
me waiting to see if anything comes up for day 4 of the patreon anniversary lol
however I do have a suggestion! some of the lesser dnd places would be fun! people tackle baldur’s gate and stuff, but god it’s been SO hard to find a map of friggin Daggerford!! also, your take on the House of Lament would be really cool if you wanted to dabble into the Mists!!
I appreciate the suggestions! The other planes have been requested a lot (the nine hells in particular (hence Osseia last week aha). I’ve got a few requests for Maladomini and places in the Underdark.
Noted for Daggerford and the like. Everything under WotC IP is a bit complicated though, since I’ll have to make it 100% free so it’s a lot of work for “exposition”.
Saying that… we do have some CoS map pack just coming out for day 4 though… x’D
hi! i’m running tomb of annihilation/generally running around in chult - having trouble finding good map variety. not looking for any specific wotc locations, just that general tropical jungle/adventure/ecology vibe :3 i’d especially love maps built around weird natural features where the environment itself is the location - giant hollow trees or bamboo-like culms, huge root systems, canopy environments, megafauna remains that other things have moved into, flooded forests/wetlands, animal trails/nesting grounds, that kind of thing. basically less “here’s a jungle map” and more “here’s a weird little place that exists in the jungle” 🌴🦖

There’s a ToA sub-reddit which has a bunch of generic maps as well as specific locations. Animated Dungeon Maps and Dynamic Dungeons both have a lot of generic type forest and jungle animated maps. There’s also a DnDMaps subreddit which will have a ton of more generic maps. Patreon has been a real treasure trove, so that’s usually where I start.
DM Andy, Morvold Press, Forgotten Adventures, Dransky Battle Maps are all really great resources. There’s a ton of other great resources out there as well that have all kinds of interesting and cool maps.
