Thirteen Mirrors [44x34] [6K] [jpg/webp] (Patreon)
Content
We are starting an ongoing series of maps for a large magical dungeon called the Otherworldldy Vaults. It is divided in a series of fifteen sub-spaces, each its own demiplane connected via portals to a handful of others. Some of these demiplanes are the size of a big room, others entire regions spanning several kilometers of land. At the heart of it all, the archwizard al-Akhlam dwells, half fool, half god, his mind focused on centuries of esoteric spellcraft.
The long-term goal is to get one or two of these maps published each month until the whole thing is playable as one big, eldritch dungeon crawler. Starting with Area #12, Thirteen Mirrors! (And yes, it is on purpose). In the meantime, work on the Sea Museum for the Dementlieu setting is advancing nicely!
The last portal you took in the Otherworldly Vaults sent you to a small demiplane, seemingly more peaceful than the last. For once. Above your head, bizarre constellations and colorful stars you never saw before glide under the ceiling. Somehow, it was even more confusing than the Void Lens already was. In an immaculate, two-storied room of azure marble, thirteen silver mirrors stood against the walls, big enough to fully reflect a medium sized creature. In them, however, was no mere reflection. Each mirror showed something different. Another you. Another reality. Or perhaps…a future that has not happened yet.

Module made for FoundryVTT v13 and above.Modules required : -Optional modules : -To Face Oneself (Base variant): As you peer into the mirrors, you hear a distinct cracking sound emanating from the opposite side of the room. In front of Tily, the halfling barbarian traveling with you since the beginning of all this mess, a large gash has deformed the mirror. In it, her reflection seems angrier than the usual. Hateful, almost. Another crack resonates through the pristine halls. This time, it is in front of you. Suddenly the polished surface shatters, as an arm reaches for your throat. An arm clothed in the same garments you are currently wearing. A few seconds later, your entire party is facing its clones. And you know yourself and your companions too well: this can only end one way.
To Shut the Voices (Vampiric variant): After months of taunting and plotting, you finally powered through the vampire lord’s last line of defenses and reached her sanctuary. There, surrounded by walls of magical scrying mirrors, she has been conveying orders at her lackeys for months. Spying on you, for months. Finally you have her in front of you, weapons at the ready. However, in its haste, your party might have made a crucial mistake: never underestimate an opponent. Even less a magical one. Each mirror around your foe can send, and it can also receive. These are not mere scrying mirrors: these are portals. Five versus one might quickly turn into a five versus fourteen…
