So... what would you like to see behind the scenes of A Story Worth Telling

Comment below 😉😘

All suggestions are good ideas, so don't be afraid... unless it's rated R.. in which case you're in the wrong place 🤣

Love
Alex and Josh
❤️❤️❤️

Jayne

Yes pleaseeeee!!

Mildred Locke

I'd love to see your set up (especially the new one!) and get a bit of insight into how you got started (how it started vs how it's going). Perhaps an insight into the editing process as well?

Mildred Locke

For more fun suggestions though, I'd just really love to get to know you two better and get a glimpse of your lives! Maybe an apartment tour, hear stories of how you met, maybe your coming out stories if you're comfortable telling them, stuff like that? I just want more of YOU!

Tina Stellato

Yes please, but only if it’s not going to cause you more work 💕

Sam S

Some Patreon-exclusive vlog-style videos. Also, another Q&Slay would be fun.

ser brienne

honestly you two could chat about anything and everything and i would tune in! i love how you have so much fun but also have some really deep and insightful conversations at the same time. to echo mildred, i would love to hear more about you guys as people (if that is something you are comfortable sharing with us of course)

Sophie

How you guys get ready to film a reaction.

me, watching a story worth telling, watching olivia colman, watching paint dry. now that would be a good time! 😂

Pip

You two bickering. Sorry I phrased that wrong. You two discussing your artistic process 🙂, how you decide which bits to leave in/out on your youtube posts. How you decide what to react to and have you ever abandoned any reactions because they just turn out boring/too explicit etc. Also do you still have day jobs or is your ambition to make a living from your channel? It will be interesting to see what you post. Take it easy boys and keep on reacting. P.S. Do you do your own hair and make-up?😀

charlie

maybe like round up videos of shows/movies you've reviewed

charlie

paint drying - edit- someone already said it

Suze

Flat tour 😂

Jennifer Fell

How you set up, and how you organise it... like do you have set ASWT nights or are you chilled 😎. Also skincare, hair and makeup 😉😂 Another Q and Slay would be amazing... Will there be more podcasts? Honestly though I just love watching you two discuss issues and learn from each others points of view. Would literally watch you eat a takeaway and gossip together.

Diane Furlong

I’m good with all of these suggestions. Maybe explaining how you sort out the editing process. I realize some scenes would be obvious. I guess there’s copyright stuff that plays into as well. Really guys, you could read the phone book to me (does anyone even own a phone book any more?)

Literally Natalie

I would really love to hear more about you guys personally! Don’t worry, haha I don’t mean TOO personal! ❤️ Just how you two met, how you became friends, what made you decide to start a YouTube channel, what you like doing in your spare time, do you have jobs outside of YT, what do you like to do in the other part of your life outside of YouTube, etc.! You seem like such good friends, and I would love to hear how that came to be! Thanks so much for all that you do! xxxx

The Wanton Dogfish

Would love to see you discuss the Ultimate Story Worth Telling where you take characters and plot from films you love and merge them together.

D

The “heart” of your channel is your friendship would love to hear more about it

Rosie Dickinson

Just a bit of a catchup on the channel. How it started, the first reactions and how it evolved, plans for the future. Maybe a bit about your friendship (but only what you are willing to share). A review of some of your favorite scenes or elements from shows/movies you have reviewed (or have not reviewed).

Suzy Dillinger

How did you guys meet? You are roommates right? I love the dynamic between you two and it seems like you've known one another for a long time.

Sara Nissen

Your first podcast was about how it all started with the YouTube Channel; as I remember it was Josh's idea. But a flat tour could be nice, some vlogs whenever you feel like it, a Q&A(where people can ask all their serious and silly questions), a how you edit videos, a talk about your favorite characters from movies and shows you've watched so far(for the channel/before/in your own time), and how they would interact if put in a movie/series together/what kind of series that would be(would love your thoughts on that, it could be hella interesting/fun), or you descussing your favorite movies and series quotes and scenes and why you picked them. Maybe a top favorite movies/series of alltime and see how similar or not they are, favorite queer/ally music artists/bands and/or just favorite music videos.

Celeste Kontos

Q&Slay! Vlogs A friendship quiz/challenge would be fun!

Mark Smith

Damn! I'm apparently in the wrong place

b

each of you tier ranking everything you've watched so far and comparing answers! (maybe based on representation and also quality otherwise, acting, writing, etc.)

Graham & Ruth May

A chat about how you guys first met, your first impressions of each other, how you became friends, your jobs, your ambitions for the channel and on a personal basis, but honestly, I just love watching both of you and you always make my day better, so I’m also up for you watching paint dry and anything else you care to share with us. 🥰

Michael D

I love all the suggestions about talking about yourselves and us getting to know you. I'll add some other ideas to just throw them on the wall and see if they stick (seem interesting to explore) : - A book-club topic of "what's your current favorite queer literature" (poem, novel, short story, etc) - or in the same vein, what queer content held in a non-visual medium (podcast, music, audiobook, etc) is currently your favourite (or would suggest others injest) - Movie or limited series gets made about your lives, who would play the core cast, if it couldn't be yourself - debate about if queer roles should go to queer actors over others, same with trans and handicapped roles.. And drop dive intoif the public's current stance is helping/hurting - the relationship 20(?) questions test between you two - a recap of your last year: how you think it went? And maybe do some end of year superlatives. I.E. what characters/plots/franchises/series/episodes/movies, etc would win most influential, best couple, best kiss, most likely to become a billionaire, biggest positive growth, class clown, etc etc

Diane Furlong

Dang Alex we could have taken care of the paint drying a couple of weeks ago when you were DIY painting

Becca D❤️

For the movies/TV shows you've reviewed that are based on books (Red White & Royal Blue, Heartstopper, etc), review & compare the books to the videos. I think it could be very interesting. The Heartstopper books are graphic novels so they're a quick read, and Red White & Royal Blue is available as an audiobook if reading isn't your thing.

Luke

This may have been suggested already, but I would be interested in hearing YOUR stories worth telling. If that is something you are both comfortable doing. I also agree with the suggestion of how ASWT started, how has it held up to your expectations, and goals for the future.

Nikita

Would love to see an q and a with you guys so we can get to know you better

Mads

I'd say I'd love a heartstopper recap, character analysis or predictions video, but I also know many patreon members have read the whole series, I'd hate to see comments or leading questions ruin anything for your future season watches. But something for the heartstopper series would be fun. I have quite a few screenshots that are cute or funny. It's a joy to catch some of them on rewatches. I'd love to give you timestamps etc & I agree with everyone, Id love to hear the how you became friends story.

oliver morgan

Alex & Josh, glad to support you guys beyond a simple like/Follow. Two areas that I eould like to see you both address: 1. More about yourselves (interests, educ, etc). 2. Info on the roles of “intimacy coordinators”. HS, RWRB, and YR have introduced a number of young actors and issues of intimacy.

Marstrand

Like others have mentioned, a housetour would be interesting 😊. Also you two reviewing interviews from the cast of Young Royals and heartstopper 🤩. Regarding musicvideos, you reviewing one of Omar Rudberg’s musicvideos would be 👌🏻 💜.

Amanda Graham

I would love to hear your thoughts on the Ian and Mikey couple on Shameless US but I’m not sure how without having to watch all 10-11 seasons on it. At times it is really toxic and at times it is very loving so I would be interested if you find it positive or negative representation

Nina

More of Josh doing recaps from the previous episodes. They are always hysterical and on point.

Crystal Pritchard

I would love podcast style videos where you talk about different LGBTQ+ topics. For example books you’ve read, your own personal experiences, ways in which older content has maybe changed as you’ve gotten older, like did you think something was good/bad representation when you were younger and now your opinion is different. I know you guys had a couple podcast episodes but I don’t think it ever continued. I would also love to see Q&A videos.

Steve Marshall

This might be too much, but you did say no suggestion is too odd. I am interested in how you receive the comments, both here and on the youtube version, and if it ever prompts you to go back and look at a bit again, or change your mind. Sort of like a little short recap where you talk about what you learned from the comments, and maybe even address some of them in person. I only say this because (and I mean this in the most caring way) you sometimes talk over key bits of the dialogue which sometimes sets you off in another direction all together (down a rabbit hole). An example (again coming from a place of love and caring) was in Heartstopper S01E07 Bully, where you missed key information about why the boys were going to the cinema together. No biggie, but it distracted you and then you got confused a few minutes later. Sorry if I sound like I am whining, it is not my intention. But I would be really interested in your thoughts on comments that tend to pick up on this sort of stuff. 🩷🤓

Steve Marshall

Also, can you give us a screen shot of your set-up, from your side? I would love to see the tech kit. And also get a sense of what you are looking at when you review.

I actually was gonna suggest they take timestamp scene suggestions from heartstopper that we choose and they rewatch and react. I'd love to have them rewatch a few scenes from S1 that show Charlie's not eating and other little bits that come through to S2. So yeah, I agree!!

Samm Daugherty

I agree with more about how you two became friends and your friendship as other have mentioned. Also I am curious how you schedule watching and reacting. It seems like they are days apart and I am amazed by your will power to not binge watch shows. 😜 I was done w heart stopper S2 4.5 hrs after I woke up the day it came out. Haha!

Kim Engel

Are there genres you enjoy/avoid watching? What are some of your fave shows/movies, which don’t necessarily include LGBTQ+ representation?

justhereforfun

how you 2 became friends. Do you guys watch everything at once and just change outfits for each episode? What other things do you watch/read that isn't lgbtq+ related? And you don't have to tell us but are you guys dating anyone?

Es

Would you guys consider creating a semi-official schedule on which reactions are going to be released on which day of the week? Idk if this counts as BTS content though
