Fan out, ready to go… 🪭 Yes, that + is very important (Thanks, Josh!) 😂

Frances

🪭🪭🪭🪭 so excited 😆

Diane Furlong

You hopped right on this one Guys 👏 It’s 6:30 AM, let’s see 🪭

Plz9

Nicholas Gal-it-zine 😍 Coming to UK on Sky - 5 March US on Starz - 5 April

Chris Mackenzie

I could tell from the first trailer review how excited both of you were for this show—just like 'Red, White, and Royal Blue,' and that was the birth of the fan 😂. I too can't wait to watch this amazing-looking series and feel the anticipation of more fan shenanigans! I also agree with Josh; you can never have too much gravy or Dianne sauce. I mean, the Canadians' great culinary gift to the world with Poutine must, by definition, have too much gravy and cheese over chips!

Werlock Holmes

Damn it, I want to see your reaction but I haven't seen the trailer 😅 it's just a lot for my lesbian ass 😂 How am I going to watch the show is beyond me

Frances

You‘re guys‘ energy together just gives me life 🙌🏽🫶🏽

Mary E Crum

Nicholas Galitzine is going to burn us all down to the ground. He will rule 2024.

Sam S

The UK release date is 5th March. It releases in the US in April.

Kerri Moys

Love this! All the gravy please 😂

Kate Power

It’s actually being released in March in the UK 😉

PRIYA AMY

Nick is gravy is hilarious and also true. I am so excited to see this. The same intimacy coordinator for Red White and Royal Blue worked on this show as well, so at least we know the sex scenes will be well done.

Clash

You better get the fan 🪭 ready, loving the sauce and gravey metaphor. This series is going to be hot. Nick Galitzine is on fire 🔥

We’ve spelled it out for Alex before. Nick just gets him all flustered and he forgets how to say Galitzine 🤣 . Alex offers many variations on the pronunciation and I’m here for all of them!

Sofia

Deleting a commentary by mistake…yeah, that’s just like me 🤦🏻‍♀️. Just wanted to say you absolutely made me laugh from the beginning. Nice voices btw. Yeah, what about the +?☺️ As part of the asexual community I’m glad you did include us. I’m stealing the sauce and gravy thing, just fyi. 😉 I absolutely agree that Matt Bomer is gravy. Loving the alliterations!

Dawn Johnson

Loved the reaction as always. I dreamt last night that Nicholas knocked on your door and when you opened it, he leaned in and said, "It's Gal-it-zeen," then walked away. LOL Nick's character George is fluid, sleeping with men and women to gain power and dominate people, but King James is his main target. Based on a true story. Notice how Mary looks as the trailer opens (penniless) and how she looks as it closes (opulent). Interesting.

Chris Metzger

Unhinged and loving it! I'm talking about you two, not the show! Have we had a nip from Mummy's liquor cabinet? lol I agree with Matt being the gravy and Jonathan being the sauce, but for me, Taylor could smother me in his gravy! Anyway, this show looks so saucy and scandalous. I'm steeped in anticipation to see it.

Rachael

The intimacy coordiator said 'rwrb fans don't go into this expecting to see sweet prince henry because that's not what you're getting' hahaha he said it was wild to work on this show. I'm so ready. I've been loving all the promo images for this too

David Watt

Never gonna look at the gravy at Toby Carvery the same!

Shari

Julianne Moore looks like she (her character) is going to be so much fun!

Makayla Hall

I'm excited to see how they do this. I almost wonder if they will do a good job showing at how he manipulated everyone to get what he wanted and I also wonder if they will include how he died. I'm pretty sure George Villiers got the be the Duke of Buckingham by having sex with the king and that's the whole premise. I don't think the show is about sex per say. I think it's about how George came into power from being one of the lowest members of society by using sex and sexuality. I think those parts are just a part of it.

Manuela Zaccagnini

Please rewatch "may I perform for you?" scene, believe me you won't regret! 🔥

Cadu

"What about the + assxxole?" Why do every video always has 3 or 4 iconic sentences? 😅😅

Jamie

I think I read somewhere that Nick is doing drag in this and that he has 14 sex scenes or something (don't quote me on that, I could be wrong). But yeah, this is based on a true story and George was bisexual, I think, they just didn't have a word for it back then. I'm excited as hell! Plus, Mary kissing women? Yes, please, and thank you!! I know Elizabeth has got to be turning somewhere, wherever she is. Those royals like to pretend no one is queer. 😂

Elina

I don't think the show will be full of pointless sex scenes. I mean there's probably gonna be plenty of sex, but for a reason, mostly 🙂. Another Starz production, Spartacus, about the gladiators, was really in your face. The sex scenes showcased the power dynamics, though, and really made you feel for the characters and what they had to deal with. They are actually planning a reboot, I can't wait!

Annette Callaghan

2024 is Nicholas Galitzine’s year! I know that The Idea of You is not LGBT+ but I’d still love to see your reaction to it ❤️

Johanna Nel

I think this series will draw the attention to the debauchery of the upper class while preaching to the lower class. History will have it that King James I commissioned the King James Bible to appease the church when they criticized his shenanigans with George. He apparently stated Jesus had John and James had George. It is mentioned in the book of Red White and Royal Blue. Can't wait for this 🙌

NessaC

I’m so ready for this!

JayJay

"Historical sluts" would be such a good title for a TV series.. or a merch item😂

Jacqui Chesterton

I love Nicola Walker and would watch her in anything. I also think this is like the third or fourth time she's played queer and I'm here for it. I don't think having a sub-plot with a queer female storyline is overdoing it. I actually got a little sad while watching your reaction to Fire Island, because of the realization (obvs not for the first time) that there's this whole fairly known and defined gay male culture, and not really the same thing or certainly not to the same extent for other branches of the LGBTQ+ community. Just the fact that that movie was made - it's hard to articulate but I feel like you get it. I'd love to see more reviews of content from other corners of the community - something like Feel Good or the reboot of L Word. Then again maybe I just need some chocolate and an early night ...

I enjoyed Feel Good, great representation for a relationship where one (and then both) aren't yet comfortable in their identities. I recommend Gentleman Jack, several queer female characters and has the bonus of being based on 19th century life of a queer female landowner. Would love to see a reaction to it

I don't think I can add links, so search for "A Bisexual Breakdown of Nicholas Galitzine" a recent (audio) podcast on Galitzine's early career. His first movie is called The Beat Beneath My Feet (see the trailer on YouTube) which he did with the late Luke Perry. The podcast says that even when Galitzine doesn't play queer, he has queer-adjacent performances. In the same year he was in Handsome Devil, he was also in High Strung, where he plays a violinist (these were his 2nd and 3rd movies). I guess it shows how diverse a set of roles he was in, even early in his career.

You can also see the whole film The Beat Beneath My Feet and High Strung on YouTube, which is nice.

I heard this from a clip on Bisexual Breakdown about Nicholas Galitzine: "...and I think that he's a really genuine queer and feminist ally. It seems like that's something that's really part of his deeply held values, and he picks projects that allow him to express ideas and support of women and queer people, and I just like that about him." - Bisexual Breakdown podcast

Lu

just to let you know there’s a new alternate trailer for mary & george that came out yesterday

Matthew Binczek

I can’t wait for this one 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Master Baker

Hello. I'm new here and not aware a Cooking Show about "sauce vs gravy and of viscosity" was included in my membership. Nicely done gentlemen.

Nicky Anne

1. gal-it-seen 😂 2. you’d be hard pressed to find a historian who DOESNT believe james 1 was queer. he may have loved his wife or he may have just had to fuck her to get children, but he definitely had sex with lots of men. george was his favourite. 3. nicholas galitzine said he had 14 partners for intimacy scenes in this. there’s only seven episodes 😅🥵. brace yourselves for how saucy this is 4. i’m pretty sure we in the uk can get it on NowTV on 5 march 5. when james 1 was dying mary comforted him and george set about making sure he was a favourite of charles 1 - james’s son. probably not by shagging him tho 6. george was at james’s bedside when he died of dysentery. he was the only one allowed in 7. george was murdered only 3 years after james died. he was so hated by the country by that point that his assassin became a hero
