here we go!!! final 2 episodes!! haven't clicked yet so idk if yall talk about it but sincerely hope you guys will be watching Dexter: Original Sin (so good) as well before the new show starts up (July 11th, 1st 2 eps air for the new Dexter show!!!)

GameRoll

I love how this episode really shows you how truly messed up what Dexter does is. The scene where he cuts up Kurt is genuinely chilling and really is a reminder that Dexter is INCREDIBLY insane lol

just came here to comment about it. I'm so glad they noticed how visceral it was compared to how it's usually shot. We see everything from Dexter's POV and we're in his head so we get a glorified look at it, but in that moment, we were watching Dexter through Harrison's eyes and they showed us what Dexter looks like to any other person--just another monster butchering a person and we see it in all its gory detail and with Dexter's almost childlike excitement over it. It's terrifying and i LOVE that choice the writers/director made for it.

"Stop clowning around Wiggles" 😂

Honestly this was one of my favorite Dexter episodes ever. Seeing Dexter and Harrison bonding was really wholesome and it made me happy to see. Kurt’s trophy room is also one of the most unique things I’ve seen in this series that was sick. “This motherfucker needs to die” was so satisfying I had to rewind to hear it again. The entire scene of them killing and cutting up Kurt was interesting, I could not tell what Harrison was thinking his face was unreadable.

James

For real though the main show should’ve showed that because they always glorified it and cut ahead until after the body is cut up

Janet

A little "easter egg". When Angela goes to the vet to find out who bought ketamine, one of the buyers was "Al Chung". In season three it was "fucking Albert Chung", the asian sock footed killer

Janet

My most hated episode. They told us for 8 years that Dexter was "America's favorite serial killer". Then, they tried to Walter White him, make us think he was horrible and should have a horrible end. But in one episode? Breaking Bad took 6 seasons to turn him into a horrible person worthy of dying.

James

I mean he is horrible he’s a serial killer. Yes he kills bad people but that doesn’t change what it is plus in the past he’s killed a decent amount of people that didn’t fit the code. I thought this ending was fitting to be honest

Kia Love

This episode is the reason they are doing Dexter Resurrections. Majority of people like myself hated this ending. It made me not like Harrison AT ALL.

Octavia

Unfortunately, I haven't found anything to like about Harrison from the get go. The actor doesn't really have any screen presence. He's just blandly petulant. I've felt no connection to him. But I'll give him another shot in the next round.

Octavia

I agree with James. Dexter has always been horrible. Selfish and manipulative. He's enjoyable to watch. But his self-serving ego has gotten so many innocents killed. Very early on he stopped cleaning up baddies who fell thru the cracks... and started playing a game where he wanted to win no matter the cost to those around him. As entertaining as he makes his dance on the edge... there's no redemption for Dexter in my eyes.

Octavia

I could watch a whole episode of just Dex and Dark Passenger Deb, going about their day. Would've liked more of her and less of Harrison actually. The sensible thing to do here would've been to call in Angela after discovering Kurt's lair. That horror menagerie would've kept authorities busy for a good while. But disappearing Kurt is just another in a long line of ridiculously suspicious occurrences. It's not justice. Justice is dragging him thru town with this around his neck... to let everyone see him & reduce him. Dexter's choices always make everything worse. But it's entertaining.
