Comments

Kale

Fast and Furious origin story? Let's gooooo! Just kidding, haven't seen this since it came out and really looking forward to this rewatch with R&T :)

Anthony Ancona

Thanks Rob and Trin for your hard work! Love you for all you do. ❤️ I am looking forward to seeing the reaction!

Jay1337

Fury is based off a tank called "in the mood" commanded by Lafayette Pool aka. "War daddy" they where one of the highest decorated tank crews of ww2. Lafayette lost his leg but didnt die he was awarded the medal of honor for his service

Pemo7216

David Ayer also wrote and directed "end of watch". It stars "gordo" and Jake gyllenhaal. It's another must watch.

Kitikits

Brilliant film and reaction! I found myself stress-eating while watching this because Rob and Trin were so immersed in the movie. Really enjoyed it.

Kale

It's important to remember that the first country the Nazi's invaded, was Germany. Like Rob said, the German people suffered as well. War is hell.

Superpotroast

Shia kinda went 'crazy' and fell into some hard personal times in the latter 2010s, but he pops up now and then in stuff before that..He's since been busy staying sober and turning to Catholicism..

MarySoul

I don’t usually have the habit—or the will—to rewatch war movies. Give me aliens, give me sci-fi, even rom-coms with angst. But war films, when they’re well done and genuinely moving, are just so hard to sit through again. Maybe it’s because I feel like I won’t be fighting aliens anytime soon—but as a civilization that seems to learn nothing from history, we’re always just one step away from another world war. Some say we’re already in the early stages of it… Anyway, I braved it this time because I had a feeling it would be a meaningful reaction moment for Rob and Trin—and I wasn’t wrong. Great reaction, lovely work 🙏🏼

SlipS_Tiger

David Ayer best written films are Fury and Training Day

Alyssa Dyson

Great movie havent seen this one since it came out so I think its worth a rewatch for sure. 💜

Reavezz

LETS GOOOO SO HYPED FOR THIS ONE YALL

Reavezz

Smart man.

Reavezz

dude I LOVE End of Watch. And not a single reactor I watch has reacted to that movie sadly. It'll never win any polls either because it's not widely known in the mainstream movie circles :/

Reavezz

Everyone suffered on all sides just like in every war

Reavezz

And end of watch! Cant leave out that absolute banger of a film, even if it was never a huge well known hollywood film.

TheGrouch74

And here was me expecting to see a prorno about furry!

MaggieS61

Every once in a while a great film actually makes it through the polls. So glad this one made it. Loved watching it with you both. And what a cast. Shia LaBeouf is actually an incredible actor when he sinks his teeth into a role. Reminds me of another excellent film, based on a true story, called “Lawless”, from 2012, with LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, and Jessica Chastain. Another amazing cast.

MattD_96

Norman is played by logan lerman my favorite role of his is The Perks of Being a Wallflower which i recommend

Reavezz

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

Reavezz

Dude WHAT??? Thats weird as hell man delete this

TheGrouch74

Watch the blow reactions, read my comment then come back to this and chill out dude, other people will get it

Akuma

Shout-out to that one SS soldier who let Norman live. Interesting how the one with the most humanity and compassion got to live in the end.

Reavezz

Amazing reaction yall and I love how much both of you were so insanely immersed in this film just like I was and I continue to be on every rewatch! One tiny little correction for Rob (my autism spikes hard when it comes to WW2 stuff especially tank and armor technology) Germany had FAR superior tanks thats 100% accurate, however the comment about them being mass produced at a level of no one else, is actually untrue. The US produced about 50,000 sherman tanks alone, plus 12-13,000 more medium tank-esque vehicles even though they joined the war substantially later than Germany, while Germany only produced a total of 29,000 medium AND heavy tank classes COMBINED. And a significant amount of those ended up being fitted only with assault guns on top rather than turrets because they couldn't produce them due to materials, money, and time. And as far as German tiger tanks, only ~1800 TOTAL Tiger tanks were produced including the Tiger I and Tiger II variants. But again, they were obviously WAY WAY superior to the US and allied forces tanks and were able to destroy a handful of Shermans for every one Panzer IV or Tiger.

Jasorn

such a good movie and I'm glad Rob had a very similar reaction/journey as I did the first time I watched it, cried so many times. Started out being like wtf why?? to testosterone screaming at the end lol

Reavezz

The actor Rob mentions he knows at 29:29 is an actor named Brad William Henke, who famously played the amputee night security guard Tony Tucci from Dexter season 1! I recognized him too then it finally clicked

Lee Shafer

Yes, thus movie won several awards and received multiple nominations. It won the Hollywood Film Award for Editing, the National Board of Review Award for Best Ensemble, and was recognized as one of the Top Ten Films by the National Board of Review. It also won a Taurus Award at the World Stunt Awards.

Lee Shafer

Oh this wasn’t an actual true movie but it was inspired by true events .

Kylegriffo

lawless and the peanut butter falcon are great films with shia labeouf

Crusader

Shia really does deserves a reward or something, he is amazing, but he also suffers alot in real life with actual PTSD, He has stated that his PTSD stems from a difficult childhood

Crusader

David Ayer also did the first Suicide Squad movie, and also i think he helped with the first Fast and Furious movie

Gilstead

He was also in LOST!

Gilstead

War movie month would be awesome! Or a mini series like Generation Kill (incredible HBO mini series).
