I don't think it's a film they had any interest in watching and I know I prefer them to watch films they'd enjoy to get the best reaction. Yes it's comic relief because of how awful the acting and graphics are but to take a place from all the other awesome female lead films would be a waste. My personal opinion though that's all. Always try again🥰

Great mix thank you. Every month always something different even if it's not always my cup of tea. Think 'some' patreons forget it's not just about them alone. Everyone has different likes and it's nice to see a mix all the time. You (Patreons) may not be interested in every single thing 👀

There's been plenty of films in, that they ended up liking. Yeah I get what you're saying, but you don't have to watch it if you don't wanna see it. There's no way in hell I'm watching Barbie lol but I'll watch a couple of the other ones

I'm not a barbie fan either. Would have settled for wicked though 😅 I know what you mean, plus I do think they should get round to twilight eventually, it's sort of one of those franchises every reaction channel does end up doing, 4 I think will be their fav.

I think if you check the comments, you'll notice every month there are those who are disrespectful because it's not what they like and start hating on R&T and the patreons. I literally said it myself the selections are not always my cup of tea. I think you've misunderstood what I was stating.

They chose 4 movies from the poll just like they ALWAYS do Flopsi. Nothing has changed and no they dont reactivate the poll. Maybe in the future next year or something they'll do another female lead vote but otherwise, those are the 4 that won, THANKFULLY!

People that aren't a fan of him in real life due to his beliefs need to start being able to separate their life from their characters. He is objectively a top tier action star and has been one for decades. They are gonna LOVE the mission impossible series, and yet they can still disagree with the actor's irl stuff separately.

Mission Impossible might be the first film since War of the worlds that i watch with Tom Cruise in, something about that guy just rattles me, Goodfellas is a S Tier pick though!

Personally, while I'm not a fan of Scientology... I think Tom Cruise makes really good movies. Like 99% of the time. 'Minority Report' & 'Edge of Tomorrow' are 2 of my favorite sci-fi films. But everyone's tastes are different. Like you, I appreciate that this month has a wonderful mix of movies to appeal to different groups.

Don't know why some are down on BARBIE. There's good reason that it was a juggernaut with OPPENHEIMER. It's a brightly colored satire that pokes fun even at itself --- while also having deeper themes. It has a very relevant and universal message that's sharply done in a fun way. Looking forward to all the female forward movies + Mission Impossible and Goodfellas.

Greta Gerwig made a good film with Barbie. She often makes films with a good message. Lady Bird was good too.

The way I see it is Thursday movies are their personal picks but there was no rule or expectations that they have to choose movies from the current lineup. If they somehow did a few times in the past, that was their choice to do so. This month, they've chosen to watch some movies outside of the theme. Hope that helps :)

Not sure what is being said here but I will just add that we call it "Our Picks" for a reason. If we are not expected to do 8 movies from the polls then we will just remove our picks and come up with something else. Our intent is not to make people angry but instead to try and add variety as we always have done. Sorry if anyone takes it another way but please understand that trying to make so many happy at once is never going to be 100% successful.

Yes. I think you can take from it what you want. It can be just frothy entertainment. Or much deeper, without being overly preachy. It's done in a fun manner. Some say it's putting men down, but it's really not. It's just putting the shoe on the other foot. I think it's saying that societal gender expectations are tough for both, but achieving balance is a slow road. And this movie is about the female experience foremost. But that doesn't mean men don't go through hardships, too.

It’s funny because people usually post a whole tantrum about movies they have never watched before. It makes no sense to me. R&T give us a lot of variety. It’s impossible to not like at least one thing.

Idk I'd take Twilight over Barbie. But to each their own. Twilight whether you love it or hate it is fun. It can either be a romance or the most hilarious comedy. So usually two camps like it for whatever reason. Barbie is just...meh. But overall, I'm just happy A Long Kiss Goodnight is there!

YES! Long Kiss Goodnight is such an underrated movie. And Pitch Perfect is fun. I can't do Barbie, but hope you guys enjoy it. Overall, at least we got some great picks this month. So so happy about A Long Kiss Goodnight. We need more 90's or 80's movies. That's what I'd love to see. There are SO MANY older movies that are great. There is just something different about that era of film!

I tried watching Barbie. Got maybe 1/4 into the film but had enough. I might try it again with Rob & Trin, but doubt it. I agree we need more movies made prior to 2000. One of my favorite comedies is Ruthless People 1986.
