I really love being in this world. Ive been deep diving the valerian history and im obsessed. The world building GRRM done for this world is honestly insane. Cannot wait for a season 2 because lets face it this series had the world obsessed. X

This show was honestly phenomenal. The fight in episode 5 was one of the best medieval rights I’ve seen, Dunk took a hell of a beating. Ive never seen a character get so beat to shit but keep going like that, he’s a tank. It makes it even more satisfying when he comes out on top. I am definitely looking forward to the next season, for more Dunk and Egg adventures. They did great with this season, very unexpected

This show was such a surprise. I thought it was going to be another show like the original GoT or HotD. Instead it feels smaller and lighter but manages to feel like part of the world we know and love. I am so looking forward to next season. I hope they can do it again.

The sound design in e5 is nothing short of brilliant perfection - it lends so much to tension, confusion and chaos. I hated we went from such a high with Baelor coming in to save the day and the GOT theme in e4 to the low/shock of losing him in e5 but that's the GOT universe for ya. Im enamored with "The Laughing Storm." I hope this isn't the last we see of him.

I've never been interested in reading the books but now Im kind of interested but also don't want to lose the element of surprise.

It was brutal and if I didn't know he had four pages in the book and more seasons of this, I would have surely thought he died when he fell over...The blows just kept coming and I thought we were getting a happy ending for that episode.

Seriously. That’s when you know a show is good, I knew there would be a season 2 but I genuinely was wondering how he’d survive that fight

I hope someone tells GRRM that a "TRUE KNIGHT ALWAYS FINISHES A STORY!" and he'll end up finishing some unpublished stuff - heard a few rumors of way more than 2 seasons but Im not keeping up with it that closely.

I think you guys missed that apple boy does not know about sex. He married ole girl because he got her pregnant. Baby girl look like she at least 6 or 7 months pregnant. Thats why Dunk was looking like that, lol.

I finished The Hedge Knight, which is the source material for season 1. The dialogue is pretty much adapted straight from the book, only I could hear Dunk and Egg’s voice in my read when I read their lines, which is great lol. Only 3 short tales are out, totaling just over 300 pages.

I've *heard* that GRRM has given them some extra material for additional seasons and if it continues to be successful, maybe write more for them. The dialog being straight from the book is my hold up. It's like I NEED to know but also still want to be surprised. Mad that Geoffry spoiled hotd 😂

Phenomenal show all-around. Something i just noticed on this rewatch, at 20:56; was it Rafe that Arlan buried? or someone from Arlan's past? If Rafe, that adds a whole new layer to this :,(
