Love the new background!!! 💙🩷❤️

The Leftovers has 3 very short seasons. ☺️ just saying… 🤞🏼🤞🏼

FedeM

I have been putting off watching season 4 for so long because my stomach churns at the thought of having Ruth against the family, as understandable as it is. But looking forward to next week to start it with R&T

Laura Linney is one of my favorite actors and I don’t think she gets enough attention for it. Everything I’ve seen in her, she’s just phenomenal!! She is amazing in this series. And so is Jason Bateman. Everything I’ve seen him in he plays the funny sarcastic guy. This is the first time I’ve seen him in a serious role and he is soooooo good !! Also I have never seen Ben in any other role except for this one and he is an incredible actor as well. He’s also one of my favorite characters in this show. I cried the first time I saw it.

To this day Tom Pelphrey is one of the first names that comes to my mind when I think about underrated actors, and I haven't seen him in anything since Iron Fist and Ozark (which is a shame). He was my favorite character in both shows, and with this rewatch of Ozark it's definitely not going to change (favorite equally to Ruth of course). This guy is so, so good ! And Janet McTeer is going to make a fantastic McGonagall, it was fun to see all the Ozark fans defend her against a few angry fans and recommend the show when she was cast. She'll be perfect to play that mix of severity with a touch of warmth we sometimes saw in Helen. This whole cast is amazing anyway. I'm really enjoying this rewatch with you guys, I wanted to do it on my own for some time but I'm glad I waited !

You should check out Tom in Task. - don’t know that I would recommend that show as a whole, but Tom is one of those actors you can just watch do anything because he’s so good at it. He was also phenomenal in Banshee. His role was tiny, but so worth it.

roncelune

Alright, I had Banshee on my radar for some time so I think I'll give that one a go first. Especially with The Boys ending today I wouldn't say no to more Antony Starr too 🧐 Thanks a lot for the recommendations !

Amber 💙

Came here to recommend Task!

roncelune

I'm definitely keeping an eye on that one too 🧐

Obviously we don't see what happens with Ben but since he called Helen himself to apologize earlier in the episode, Nelson probably just had to tell him "hey follow me, Helen wants to talk to you". Ben was already so vulnerable 😩> What a great character and amazing actor.

I blame both Wendy and Ruth for what happened to Ben. Marty tried to get Ben to leave the moment Ben got there. Wendy declined. Had Wendy listened to Marty then Ben would’ve still be and on his meds. I also blame Ruth for undermining Wendy’s warning about Ben’s illness. Ultimately, they all should’ve got together and regulate mental state. It’s like Marty said about actions and consequences.
