It feels like this one kind of steps on the original origin of the pearl and jack sparrow becoming a pirate, and how he got the compass too.

Although there were some criticisms about this sequel, I still really enjoyed it. RIP Barbossa, you legend.

sometimes all its needed is a rewatch. i didnt think of this sequel much back in 2017 when i watched it in cinema. At least for me back then this was the weakest but on this rewatch i fell in love with it. like u pointed out there were so many simmilarities to 1st one and comedy was top notch overall. cant say if it was better than og trilogy but it was on level of trilogy. looking back at it now probably 4th movie with blackbeard was the weakest out of 5. Nothing can beat og trilogy though....

I love this one. It’s not perfect, especially when you realize they retconned the lore of compass and made Jack a drunk down on his luck when he was always just intelligent. But it was so great to see it in theaters. Def one of my favorite movie going experiences! And Geoff Zanelli did a great job filling in for Hans Zimmer!

I wasn't going to watch this one again, but since this evening (Friday) after work in the US is the start of a 3 day weekend I thought WTH. I will just relax for awhile with Rob & Trin. Anyway, I had watched your first Firefly (love that show) reaction last night and I had to write that I love how creatively your channel has evolved. You are both more confident and your video background has become more imaginative. I really love the background you created with this reaction. You have come a long way babies! (FYI, that is a throwback to a 60s cigarette commercial reference, but it applies).

Right up to the very end, no donkey appeared. Why not? How could she work without a donkey? That is implausible.

I was so overjoyed to see this in your May content! I saw this twice in the cinema when it came out and for me, it captured all the charm of the first movie and was a return to form after 3 & 4 which I personally consider to be significantly weaker than the first two movies. I know that due to gaps between development, the series is considered to be a trilogy and then a couple of standalone sequels, but the conclusion of Will & Elizabeth's story in the trilogy was heartbreaking and it healed such a piece of my soul to see that storyline brought back and given a proper resolution. Fantastic reaction, and I'm so glad that you enjoyed it as much as I did!
