Just going off what's been shown so far, I don't think I've ever seen any canon map or anything, but the Alcatraz island is implied to be much smaller than the main island, which by the mentions of 'days walk' though the show is pretty bloody big, the fact that there's an entire side of the island that was the Other's territory and thus the Losties never really ventured beyond the Hunting Party and the finale. And finally, remember a couple of eps ago when Ben heard that Sayid etc had a sailing boat. There was the sudden panic that 'they might find us' and they instantly went out to retrieve the boat off them. Presumably because the little island would have been quite obvious had Sayid, Jin and Sun sailed a little further around the island. Implication is that, assuming the Losties and the Tailies both crashed toward the south end of the island, that the small island and the weird villiage the Others are living at are both on the north side, and thus just haven't been seen since no one to date has circumnavigated it.

Wow, I'm 10 seconds in and I'm already laughing at your "I'm a man. She's a man." "...hello." bit. Well played! haha

Rosseau's maps from back in S1 had two smaller islands off the coast - one named after her husband and one after her daughter. Maybe she split up this one for "personal reasons". Hmmm.

As for the location of the second island, its very small island Ben said only twice the size of Alcatraz. The main island is huge, there is a map of the island you could google and you can see the scale of it. The Losties are (albeit conveniently) nowhere near it. And the purpose of Desmond and the people on the raft was to leave so they didn't really explore all that much around the perimeter. When Ben finds out they have the boat he does get concerned that they could find them which is why he sent Colleen after Sayid/Sun/Jin.

“Sub…I guess he’s not talking about a sandwich” lol Every Man For Himself or Live Together, Die Alone????? 😉 Hippity hop. Ben is evil. The con man gets conned! Great job with the coffee/stalking parallels! Too 10? Definitely not haha. Great episode, but definitely not that high on my list haha

As someone once said : "We can't do this. Every man for himself is not going to work. [...] Last week most of us were strangers, but we're all here now. And god knows how long we're going to be here. But if we can't live together, we're going to die alone."
