Commissioned Stories: The Inter-Universal Tournament (Patreon)
Content
Why was it that this tournament happened every five years? No one could really give an answer that made any sense. Whatever the reason, this tournament has happened at this exact time that was perfectly five years later, to the microsecond. It was a taking of those from everywhere. Not a planet, or universe, but all of existence itself. Endless universes, at least six were taken to this tournament to compete. It was for various challenges. The greatest singers of all of existence, the greatest dancers, the greatest chefs. One time, it was the greatest at who could herd Yaks. Now though, it was different. The stakes were higher by those who set this tournament up than it had been in the past 250,000,000 years. It was a contest to determine… who was the strongest. To find the ultimate being, and test their amazing might.
The candidates were endless. Literally, they were endless. More and more popped up through the seconds, having reached what could be considered the strongest. All across, the candidates were picked and discarded when flaws abounded in them. Signs that they were not as strong as others. It took a while for the judges to find who could count. A whole 18 minutes, when normally the process takes 2 minutes. The candidates were chosen, and they were to be collected for the games. It would be dangerous, though. There was no idea how the six would react. The sheer power each and every single one of them wielded, it was enough to shake the very universe that they lived in.
That was why they were picked. That was why, in comparison to everyone else who claimed they were the strongest, it was really these six who could be considered the strongest with no equal except for the other. Even if, judging just solely on looks and personality, it was rather odd to consider ANY single one of them the strongest. There was no doubt, though, that they were the strongest. Not a single being in all of existence could compare to the might of these women. Even if who they were could be seen as… odd. Such as the first woman to be brought into the arena. The martial arts master known as Videl. Videl was asleep when she was brought to what was the entire stadium that she was to compete in. Videl felt air hit her head, and she waved it off.
“Gohan, close the window, I’m trying to sleep.”
Videl was laying on the grass, not looking around her as she kept her eyes closed. If Videl had opened her eyes, she would have noticed she was in a pleasant grassy field that was having intense winds. The winds were growing stronger and stronger every second, blowing hard enough to shake the ground Videl slept on. Videl was annoyed, and tried to make herself comfortable. Bunching into a ball, Videl made sure her eyes were closed tight and ignoring the wind. The planet, almost as if it had a life to itself, did NOT like that. Sending stronger gales against Videl, intending to blow her away. Mighty oak trees couldn’t handle the storm and began to topple over, as the grass under Videl was being flattened by the winds. The pressure and speed of the wind was increasing, sending small rocks hurtling faster than if a person had thrown them. Videl felt the wind blast against her, and all she felt was a shiver. Videl was grumbling as the wind was getting worse and worse.
Every second the wind got stronger, to where even trees began to topple. Tornadoes were forming just above the area, tearing apart the very earth around her. The wind burst was so powerful that most humans would have been thrown across like a ping pong ball, and shattered from the sheer force. Videl, still keeping herself to the ground, finally had enough. Videl arose from her failed sleep, and was furious. So furious was Videl, that she didn’t see the gigantic black tornado heading right towards her. Not looking at the powerful air force that was sending chunks of the planet flying off and trees swarming it as the clouds above began to explode, Videl instead wanted the wind to stop.
Videl lifted her arms up, and CLAPPED! The force of her clap was great, clashing right against the Tornado… and absolutely dispelling it. The shockwaves caused by her hands clapping against others as fast as they did, with the force, dispelled the storm to its entirety. The same way TNT is stopped by an atomic bomb. The sound alone was so loud that it shook even the planet itself, and as Videl wiped her hands of the event, she thought it was over. Then, Videl looked around where she was… and was quite confused. This wasn’t her home, and even odder, the very crust of the place didn’t look like Earth at all. Not unless dirt was now colored yellow. Where in the HFIL was she?!
Tens of thousands of miles away, someone heard the powerful clap, and had no idea what it was. The young woman held her hat close, and clicked her tongue. There were only three women she knew who could do that, and for some reason, she didn’t feel like it was her mother. The young woman, Marron, knew what her mother Android 18 was like. It was probably Bulma or Videl. Marron did wish it was Bulma. Oh, Marron liked Videl, it was just Bulma was a genius and could explain to her why the sky was red. Bulma could also explain why the water was, while still blue, seemed to be shimmering near her. Marron was close to a river bank, one that stretched rather far. The water looked like water, but was acting in a way she never saw water act. Like something was rumbling in it. No, like the water itself was rumbling.
Marron found out why the water was rumbling very quickly, when the water itself shot out in an explosion. It formed above her, changing its very own shape. In a matter of moments, the great water formed into what looked like a Hydra. 5 Heads, like those of a dragon with the necks forming tendrils around it, all shimmering with water as steam came off it. Marron could tell that the lake was boiling water, and ready to attack her. The far left head and the center head roared at her before they rushed at her with an attack. The two heads got in close to Marron, firing hundreds of gallons of water that could scald and boil skin to the very touch. Marron saw the great water beast come at her, and was already a bit annoyed. What if this thing got her really cute hat and pencil skirt wet? Who was going to dry it on this weirdo planet where the sky was red and the water just attacks young women? The 20 year old woman, instead of fleeing from the attack of the water hydra, instead went on the attack herself. Marron lifted her fist and with all of her might, struck the ground as hard as she could. The strike against the ground caused a massive eruption, as the ground split open. The earth was torn in half and right in the middle of the river. The planet shook from the force as hundreds of miles of earth cracked right open and soon, all the water from the river fell through the large divide created by Marron. Marron heard the rather pathetic howls of the river as it fell inside the planet, and she wiped her hands clean of the weird pink earth. Marron thought she was going to have to find someone to tell her what this planet was, when she felt the planet shake again.
The source of the planet shaking was, again, tens of thousands of miles away. It was in a grand forest, one that stretched end to end. It was the size of California from Earth, with trees that stretched so high that it would take most people hours to climb it. Trees with bark thicker than steel armor. The great forest only had, oddly, one living inhabitant in it. A princess known for her beauty and how pink she was. Princess Peach glided across the ground, wondering where she was. Princess Peach had no idea how she went from her castle drinking tea and crumpets, to being trapped in a forest that she has no idea of. Most trees, for example, weren’t white. Peach did have her umbrella on hand, which may come useful if it rained. Peach walked across the forest as she heard something moving. Oddly, as she felt, she didn’t sense any heat from what was moving. It was almost like she was the only living soul in the woods. So what was the noise of something moving around her? Peach clicked her tongue, and then closed her eyes. Focusing only on the sound, she thought over what was heard.
Peach knew what it was when she stopped focusing on what she heard from the surface, and now knew where the noises came from. UNDER the forest. Just as she knew where the sounds were coming from, Peach leaped off the ground to escape what was a giant tendril from the ground. A root from the trees, and it headed right towards her at sonic speed. The root was thicker than Peach was tall, and it seemed to stretch for half a mile. Peach held her umbrella close, and glided herself towards the ground. Peach was moving slowly for the ground, which made it easy for a dozen more tendrils under the ground to fire out and head right at her. The tendrils had the intent to slice or crush her, with each tendril having the strength to crush stone in their grasp and was so razor sharp they could slice clean iron. The tendrils were upon the slowly moving Peach, and Peach smiled.
Just as she thought, the tendrils were moving with a purpose, rather than on instincts. Peach spun around as quickly as she could, like a human whirlwind, as she grabbed one of the tendrils between her thighs. The hard part was to not scratch her perfect dress as she held the tendril with her thigh. With a twist of her body and her thighs flexing, Peach ripped the root off the ground in an instant with an immediate jerk. The mighty tree was torn clean off offering no resistance at all as it soared right at the sky. Peach spun again, holding on to the torn open tree that was the size of a skyscraper. Peach’s spinning caused the tree to change its purpose. The tree was now a club, and using it as a weapon, peach tore apart the entire area around her. Hundreds of trees were torn in half and crushed as the club tree she used exploded into a million large splinters, slicing apart the roots deep in the ground. The large trees hit the ground so hard they shook the ground from the noise of hundreds of trees hitting the ground continuously. Peach, still holding her umbrella, landed and smiled ear to ear as she walked to where it seemed warm. Most people tend to live there rather than where it is cold.
The great source of heat that Peach felt was at a volcano, a large one. One larger than all of Pompeii itself, with one woman over the edge of the volcano. Nabiki Tendo. Nabiki was just at the beach before, trying to enjoy the beach in and of itself. Then, of course, she found herself near a volcano. Great, the sheer heat of the volcano was going to melt her bikini right off. Still, as Tendo looked at the magma itself, she wasn’t scared at all. Instead, what she thought was… what would it feel like? Tendo always liked the idea of testing out how much her body could handle, so Tendo leaped in the air with enough force to crumble the very rock under her. As a large chunk of the Volcano’s edge fell into the magma, Tendo was high up in the air as she did several flips. Like a perfect high dive swimmer, Tendo hit the magma hard and caused the magma to react to the kinetic force applied to it. The volcano shivered and the magma bubbled as it began to explode from the inside. Tendo herself, though, was swimming right through the hard near solid magma. The rocks in her way and intense heat didn’t bother her at all. If anything, it was helping get rid of the grime on her!
The volcano was reacting terribly to what was going on, and at the same time, the magma was exploding hard. Tendo didn’t matter as she was doing backstrokes and even spinning in the magma. She was having the time of her life, as the magma was failing to char her completely. Eventually, even the volcano itself finally seemed to have enough. As if it had a life of its own. The volcano’s magma seemed to form large hands that were just ready to grab at Tendo and drive her further into the heart of the volcano. The magma of the volcano smashed right down at the surface, and Tendo didn’t feel a thing. Instead, she herself shot out of the water like a dolphin, and was spinning her body as fast as she could. Tendo was a blur as she headed right towards the magma, as the volcano’s hands shot out at her. When the magma touched how fast she was moving, the magma couldn’t handle the friction of the heat itself.
The magma became dark crystals as it was super heated to its absolute limits, and the surface of the magma itself exploded in black crystals the second she landed right on it. All of the magma was superheated to be a perfect crystal surface and everything under it, thousands of tons of magma, to become all pure black crystal. The Volcano itself formed nothing but the crystal, and Tendo laid on the surface as she was extremely bored. Looks like she ruined her bath, though she had to admit she looked really good on the glass surface. While Tendo looked over how she looked, and admired every inch of herself, there was of course the coldest part of the planet. Almost on the opposite side of the planet, was a woman not dressed at all for the winter around her.
Sarah Inoue was dressed in a new cosplay that she was wearing not for any benefits of powers or gifts, but one for the pure fun of who she was dressed as. Asuka, from the series Evangelion. Sarah may have loved the way she looked in the skin tight clothes, but how did she not enjoy walking through what appeared to be a blizzard as mountains surrounded her. Snow was so high and thick it was reaching her hips. Sarah did her best not to shiver as she knew she was never going to dress as Asuka again, even though last she checked, it was summer on the island. This part of the planet was on a permanent winter, thanks to how the star positioned itself and the fact this planet was odder than any. As an example, most planets don’t have walking mountains. The area shook hard as Sarah felt and saw something approaching her.
Sarah saw the shadow form over her head as she saw the gigantic mountain in front of her. It reached so high that it almost seemed to cover the very sky itself, and the mountain didn’t look humanoid at all. Just a moving mountain that seemed to have the ability to do what should not have been possible. The mountain had a large bank of snow on its back, and the mountain let out a powerful roar. Suddenly, from its back, hundreds of thousands of tons of snow shot off it and seemed to be directed right at Sarah. Sarah rolled her eyes as she knew what was going on. Seems whatever this thing was, it was either magic or one of those dumb seems like magic to primitive people. The snow being fired at her blanketed the sky so it was pitch black, and there was enough snow there to kill millions of people under it.
Sarah rushed right at the mountain as fast as she could. The snow DID slow her down a bit, so instead of being upon the mountain that was 3 miles away by 2 seconds, it was more like 5 seconds. Sarah was already upon the mountain and leaped right into it. With several punches and kicks, she drilled her body right through the stone. In as much time as it took her to get to the mountain, it allowed her to drive her body right through it as Sarah had pierced the inside of the mountain. Leaping right out of the mountain, the hole she left inside of it was tiny, but she didn’t move in a straight line. Sarah zigged and zagged the whole while, slicing and breaking apart almost the entirety of the inside of the mountain. The mountain didn’t have the ability to hold itself anymore, and tumbled and broke apart. Sarah grinned ear to ear, as she had to admit, she did a bit better than what an EVA unit would have done.
The last woman on the planet swore she saw someone move in the sky. Leona Heidern was a woman known to be a fighter among women. A martial arts master who honed her body to utter perfection to be the perfect warrior. The whole time, she spent looking and hearing what was going on, and could tell what had happened. Somehow, she was taken from her gym where she worked out, and transported to an alien world. Leona wasn’t the kind of woman who accepted strange things in her life. Leona was a woman of discipline, and this meant she had to train every moment of her life to be better and better everyday. Letting things that seemed childish and stupid in her life like freaking out about being on a new planet was the wrong move.
The right move was figuring out how to get back home. Leona looked up, and then around the sky. Concentrating her eyes as hard as she could, Leona made sure to look anywhere for Earth. It was her plan to simply leap back at Earth. Many would have called the move insane. None of those people could leave planets like she could, and she was more than ready to head right off. After a while, she didn’t see Earth at all. Fine, she’ll check around the planet in just a few seconds of running around it and moving through the curve. Before she began to move, she saw what seemed to be the stars sparkling. That was odd. There were no stars in the sky when she started looking. Now it seemed the stars were all over the sky, and glowing brightly and forming. It was at that moment, Leona clenched her fist and knew what was about to happen.
Leona never seen anything like this, but she was an expert at detecting threats and dangers. Leona knew when aggression was directed at her, and whatever these things are, they were more than ready to attack her. Leona prepared to defend herself, and at that very moment, the beam of the light headed right at her. Leona didn’t even bother deflecting it, instead, she rolled away from it as fast as she could. Leona escaped away from the light attack and she was right to do so, given the ground she was on now had a singed hole where she was. The light attack continued, dozens of beams attacking directly where she was. Leona backflipped away from the light beam attacks, dodging each and every single one. The light attacks were coming from what looked like an orb, and Leona could feel how hot the energy ball was. Whatever this menace was, it was clearly targeting her and ready to slay her where she was. Leona didn’t know if attacking it directly would harm her or not.
That was, of course, not the right answer at all. The right answer would have to be that she had to find a way to take it down. Looking at where she was, surrounded by the very desert that billowed around her, that meant Leona had an idea. Leona sped around as quickly as she could, running circles around the orb. Going faster and faster, the light beams attacked at a hundred different angles. Leona saw each and every single attack and dodged the light speed attacks, as the sand storm was growing right out from her. As the sand rose in the air, Leona stopped straight as hundreds of tons of sand was raised by the wind shears of her running, and Leona let out a powerful roar as she punched the air as hard as she could. In that moment, all of the sand fired out right at the spot she wanted it. Hundreds of tons of sand hit the light ball, and while a few tons were burned right off, the sand did the job. It surrounded the light ball and dropped it to the ground, smothering it and killing it. Leona wiped her hands of the whole thing, and thought she was finally done.
It was at that moment, she was no longer in a desert. In fact, every woman had been moved from where they were. All of them were taken to a small circle that was surrounded by a beautiful garden. The six women looked at each other, and were very surprised by what they seen. Videl and Marron were quite surprised. Marron had never seen Videl look this young in a while, and Videl swore that Marron wasn’t even 12, and here she was as a full grown woman! Sarah Inoue saw Videl and Peach and Leona, and her eyes were saucers as she was shocked to see women she knew in anime and games were right here! Tendo herself was confused by how much Peach was dressed up, as Peach wondered why poor Tendo was naked. Tendo knew to change that so in a flash, she put on a dress made up of the garden around her, wearing flowers and grass to make herself modest.
Leona was a bit surprised to see how fast Tendo was. She never seen anyone move like… well, her. The six women who were standing in the circle had to admit, each one looked rather different from what they expected. Videl and Marron even swore as they looked at the other four women, that they didn’t at all look like any human woman they knew. Maybe they were Saiyan women? Peach herself quickly noticed, as all the women near her towered over her, she was rather quite short. Leona herself could tell, given only Tendo reached her shoulder, that the other women were rather short. Sarah herself couldn’t fathom how the other five women were even real, when she knew all of them. Tendo herself was confused by the fact that it seemed like every woman didn’t at all care to tell her how good she looked in her flower dress. The women all had different thoughts about the other woman, but they all shared one thought. Why were they here?
That answer was to be given to the women when a loud booming voice hit the entire planet. Shaking the very sky itself, the voice spoke in a tone of strong maternal authority that it was hard for any of the women to ignore the voice. A voice that when heard, could never be unheard.
“I AM FROM BEYOND! YES, I MADE THE REFERENCE FOR YOU, SARAH, SO LET US MOVE ON! I AM THE UNIFIED VOICES OF A TRILLION BEINGS OLDER THAN THE UNIVERSE THAT BIRTHED ALL YOUR UNIVERSES! FOR COUNTLESS EPOCHS, WE HAVE CHOSEN BEINGS ALL ACROSS EXISTENCE TO SEE WHO IS THE GREATEST, AND NOW, WE HAVE CHOSEN THE SIX OF YOU TO COMPETE IN THE CONTEST TO SEE WHO IS THE MIGHTIEST IN TERMS OF POWER AND STRENGTH! YOU ARE TO COMPETE WITH EACH OTHER AND SEE WHO IS THE STRONGEST IN A SET OF TESTS! SOME OF YOU MAY DOUBT THAT YOU ARE CONSIDERED ONE OF THE STRONGEST BEINGS EVER, THE SINGLE MOST POWERFUL BEING IN YOUR UNIVERSE ACROSS AN INFINITE NUMBER OF UNIVERSES, BUT YOU ARE ALL IN A BATTLE TO PROVE AMONG YOURSELVES THAT YOU ARE! DO NOT BE, BECAUSE IT IS THE SIMPLE FACT THAT YOU ALL ARE! NOT A SINGLE ONE OF YOU CAN BE QUANTIFIED AS WEAKER THAN THE OTHER IN A WAY FOR EVEN OUR COSMIC SENSES TO DETECT! YOU WILL BE PLACED IN A TEST IN A FEW MINUTES, BUT UNTIL THEN, REST AND CONSIDER THE HONOR YOU HAVE BEEN GRANTED!”
With that, the booming voice had left them, and confusion set in. To say all of them were confused by what they had just heard would be an understatement. To be told you were the strongest in all of the multiverse was a bit of a surprise. Looking around, while some doubted they deserved the honor, it was understood even among the most cynical and confused of them that it was more than understood why all of them were women. Every woman looked at the other, and the first to break the silence was Marron, when she wanted to test if Videl was her Videl.
“Hey Aunt Videl, do you remember the time that you taught me how to drive?”“No offense, Marron, but the last time I saw you, you could barely use a pogo stick, no less drive.”
“Weird… you look exactly like my Videl… but younger. What was the last memory for you, cause mine was defeating Baby when he returned and possessed Goku to become Super Saiyan 4X Baby.”
“... The hell is a baby doing possessing my father in law? Last thing I remember, I defeated Caulifla and won the tournament of power.”
“... How did defeating a vegetable make you win a tournament of power, and what’s a tournament of power?”
Sarah had no idea what to believe in. GT vs Super! Would it be weird to tell these women that they were all fictional to her, or was it possible SHE was fictional to THEM! Poor Sarah’s brain was so wracked with questions she wanted to ask them, some verging on reasonable like what are we all doing here, to some less so like did you prefer Tien or Yamcha? It was when she was tapped on the shoulder and got a look at Leona, she almost squealed in delight. Her favorite character in King of Fighters, here and in the flesh, going to ask HER a question?! Sarah knew, no matter what the question was, that answering it would make her the happiest woman who ever lived.
“Why are you dressed like a slutty astronaut with weird hair? Is that your universes thing, or are you just a weirdo?”
Sarah heard those cruel words… and almost got on her knees and thanked Leona for every bit of it. Peach herself was next to Tendo, and looked over the woman in a grass bikini. Tendo folded her arms annoyed, and motioned with her hand at Peach.
“It costs a bit to look, 20,000 Yen a peek.”
Without taking her eyes off this strange savage, Peach reached into her purse that was hidden inside her dress, pulled it out, and dropped a single coin in Tendo’s hand. Tendo stared at the golden coin, and then the coin was gone. Tendo was confused, but felt something was weird. Looking up, she saw the oddest thing in her life. Numbers, floating above her head. 00001. Tendo didn’t know what to say about that but the hope that one gold coin was more than enough. Marron and Videl looked at the other women, and knew that they looked nothing like themselves. Then again, the woman also looked nothing alike to the other. It was hard to say who looked weirder among them, and the two didn’t have to say it out loud. Despite not being from the same universe, the two were still connected in a way. Defending each other from the others if this was a death brawl was the first important thing to consider. Then if this cosmic voice expected them to kill the other, well than… it wasn’t the first time either woman had defeated a god.
Sarah was too busy asking Leona questions that the poor woman couldn’t even hope to answer, like what her favorite combo was or what she most liked about her fellow fighters from the other KOF’s. Leona did notice, though, that something was happening at the other side of the planet. It was as if the sky itself was folding, and it was just so far away that it was impossible to hear it and just barely see. Peach saw what Leona was looking at, and took a look at it herself. Peach saw a bit more than Leona did, and Peach herself was surprised by what she was seeing. A tower was forming, one that was touching the sky itself. It might have been the largest tower that every woman had ever seen, as now all of them were looking at the tower. The tower was massive, and looked to be wider than a mile. Made up of substances that were natural to this world, but not to any world that the other women have ever seen. The tower was now all they could see as it was finished, and the voice spoke to them again.
“THE TOWER HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED FOR YOU ALL TO PERFORM YOUR FIRST CHALLENGE. YOU SHALL ALL HEAD TO THE TOWER, AND REACH THE TOP OF IT. YOU MUST ENTER IT AND MOVE THROUGH THE MAZE INSIDE OF IT TO GET TO THE VERY TOP. THE FIRST ONE, WILL ONE THE FIRST OF SIX CHALLENGES! BEWARE, FOR THE TOWER’S MAZES PROTECTS ITSELF FROM YOU, AND IT HAS A POWERFUL AURA TO IT. THE CLOSER YOU GET TO IT, THE MORE THIS AURA WILL AFFECT YOU. EVEN THE MIGHTIEST OF BEINGS WOULD FALL TO IT’S RAW POWER RIGHT HERE AND NOW. THE FACT YOU SIX STILL STAND DEMONSTRATES YOU WERE CHOSEN FOR THE RIGHT REASON! YOU ALL HAVE FIVE MINUTES, LAST PLACE WILL BE PUNISHED WHEN THE SECOND CHALLENGE STARTS!”
The women didn’t know why they should even be a part of these games. Still, it was a part of them as they all looked at each other. Marron, Videl, Peach, Leona, Tendo, and Sarah all had the idea in their heads, that maybe it would be nice to test these games out. Just for a brief while, before they decide to leave. Besides, the other women seemed… interesting. Getting set, the women got on their hands and a knee on the ground… except for Peach. Peach held her skirt up, and showed off her glass slippers. It was no doubt to Leona who would be the slowpoke. The voice broke the very sound barrier when it roared.
“GO!”
At that, every woman shot off faster than sound itself as they headed right towards the tower. Leona sprinted out as fast as she could, using the speed of athletics and track skills to get ahead. Leona was in perfect form, and didn’t falter at all as she headed right through a hill. Drilling right through it, instead of moving around it, Leona knew to head inside the tower in a straight line would be the right way. Leona was so focused on getting there, that she didn’t see who was at the edge of her eye. Just a few feet away from her, and a few feet ahead of her. Peach, practically leaping instead of running, all to prevent her heels from hitting anything dirty. Peach was ahead of Leona, and Videl and Marron were far above Peach. The two women were flying, using their Ki to give them a leg up so when they ran inside of the tower, they would be fully rested. Tendo herself ran alongside, and while a bit mad cap, she wasn’t at all slower than any of the women. It was Sarah who was far behind the women.
Poor Sarah didn’t want to rip up her outfit, so she let a bit of her power down. It wasn’t because she was afraid of losing the power of Asuna, but that destroying this costume would be beyond terrible. Course as the women got closer, they were feeling the pressures against them. It only affected them, and they were lucky. Had the pressure affected the planet they were running on, it would have taken out the entire planet. Just tearing it right out of orbit from the sun and drop across the galaxy. Instead, the women merely ran closer to the tower, but felt odd. Their shoulders tense up, arms nearly lock, and their knees struggling to rise. The women had went from light speed, to just about light speed. To the naked eye, they didn’t slow down one bit. But to each other, the women could tell they were vastly slowing down, as if they were holding a mountain on each of their backs. The mountain only got bigger as they were getting closer to the tower, but finally, they got a good look at the tower.
It was massively wide, and so tall that the tower went above the clouds. Just as they were right at the tower, the sheer pressure on them almost made the women sink into the ground. It was hard to walk, and even Marron and Videl had to hit the ground. If they were just about anyone else, at this very spot, they would be liquid right now. Instead of being liquified, the women were still able to move, but saw the first puzzle in their way. The only opening to the tower, was an open doorway. One that was only wide enough for one woman. That more than meant that they had to get in one at a time, which gave last place a sheer disadvantage.
At the first minute mark, the women were at the first of many struggles greater than just the physical force against them. It was a contest to see who was fierce enough to enter the tower first. When Sarah finally got there, she felt a drop of sweat hit her brow as she plowed right through the ground with her feet. Sarah felt beyond heavy, and the planet was suffering for it as she was almost swimming through the ground. Sarah thought she had it rough, until she saw something she didn’t expect to see. Peach and Leona were WRESTLING! It made sense that the two of them would compete against the other first. The ultimate tomboy vs the most feminine of the two, and Sarah didn’t need to know who started it. Sarah would be right, when Leona tried to push past Peach. When Peach was pushed, she fired back.
“How dare you, don’t you know how rude it is to push a princess?”
“Look, ‘Princess’, I don’t care how you got here or why you are here. All I know is, I’m going to win, and if you don’t want to get hurt, get out of my way?”
Peach was never a woman who took great offense to many things, but she did take offense to that. With that, she grabbed Leona’s arm faster than Leona had imagined, and judo flipped her! Leona didn’t know of anyone being that fast in her whole life, as she headed right at the ground. Leona lifted her arm to stop her fall, hitting the ground to stop dead the fall. It was there that she wrapped her legs around one of Peach’s own legs, and twisted as hard as she could. At that very moment, she flipped Peach over so Peach could hit the ground face first. The two were on the ground, and Peach had dirt cover up her perfect dress. Peach was a woman who tried as hard as she could to never get mad. Having her perfect dress get dirty made her mad, and she rushed right out at Leona.
The two broke into a wrestling match against the other, battling each other in a pushing contest as they held on to each of their arms, folding the very ground under them. The two women were in a contest of who was stronger, and Tendo knew she could enter right into the tower. It was when she was about to enter the tower, when two different arms grabbed each of her shoulders. Tendo rolled her eyes, already knowing what was about to happen. Tendo was thrown far away from the tower, unable to stop herself as Videl and Marron now stood at the door. Both knew only one could enter… and Videl motioned for Marron.
“I refuse to punch you out, even if you aren’t MY Marron. Still, this is the first and last time I’ll let you get a leg up. Got it?”
Marron was glad not to have to throw hands with Videl. Marron quickly hugged Videl, and ran right inside of the tower. Videl was happy for Marron… and knew that whatever was inside would get her first. Oh, Marron should be able to handle it, give Videl an advantage, as she rushed in. The first sight that Videl saw was the staircase that swirled up towards the top of the tower. Videl didn’t see Marron, but she did hear something odd going on. Videl knew to runup as quickly as she could, certain that whatever was going up on there, she could more than handle it. It was as she getting farther up, she felt her body slow down and her muscles tensing. It was as she got closer, the stairs seemed to change. Videl looked down, and saw the exact problem. The stairs had become a slide.
It meant that Marron was heading up and not at all having an advantage. Videl thought she was having it hard, when Marron was finally in view… jumping. Videl was so focused on why Videl was jumping, she didn’t see the small bar come up right in front of her at just ankle level. Videl smashed her feet right through it, and was briefly slowed down as she did. Just a microsecond, but when running against a woman like Marron, a microsecond was like losing five seconds. Videl leaped up as far as she could, only for a small bar to come up at top and hit Videl in the face. This one distracted her a bit more than the bottom bar, and now she was in a very bad mood. Videl and Marron were heading across the tower that’s aura pressed down on them more and more, while back on the ground, the fight between Peach and Leona was getting more intense by the second.
Leona shoulder tackled Peach so hard that Peach hit the very tower, and the tower shook itself. The very ground around the women shook intensely, while the two women in the tower almost fell and lost their acceleration. It took all their skill to run forward, while Peach leaped off the tower and struck Leona’s abs with her own head. The two women were getting more into their fight, and finally, Peach was realizing something that she had to do. Fighting Leona was not how she was going to win, so she had to get out of the fight. Leona threw a punch right at Peach, but Peach slid right under the punch and pushed Leona as hard as she could. Leona slid far away, nearly tearing the ground under her, as Peach ran right into the tower. Peach hoped she was third in place, but really, she was fifth. Peach saw Tendo and Sarah were already running up the stairs, and both women felt the pressure on them.
Tendo had to think, as she was heading up farther up the stairs, that the stairs becoming more a solid marble slide meant if she slowed down at all, she would fall and lose all her momentum. Sarah was right behind her, running up the slide as she saw the bars up and down. Sarah knew being just right behind Tendo was the wrong move, but maybe running on the stairs were the wrong move. Instead, Sarah leaped off the slide as much as she could. It was as she was leaping away, an invisible barrier formed right in front of her. Sarah hit the barrier hard… but she didn’t face plant against it. Instead, Sarah smashed right through the barrier that was a few thousand times harder than diamond.
Sarah rolled on the slide in a bit of pain, the oppressive aura nearly tearing her apart, but at the very least, Sarah was now further ahead than even Marron and Videl. Sarah was almost sliding down but she knew she had to run up, and quickly got back to her feet. Sarah ran up, a bit of pain striking the back of her shoulder the whole time. It didn’t matter at all, Sarah knew that her advantage would help her. It was a smart move, Videl and Marron had to admit. Than again, what was stopping either of them flying? Both women began to fly up in the air as they used their Ki… and an invisible barrier hit the top of their heads. The two women crashed back to the slide, because they didn’t expect the barrier at all, and began to slide down. The women lost a few precious seconds, and that meant Tendo ran right past them. Not at all caring about the barriers in her way as she ran. As she saw with the others, the barriers were in their way at various spots. Crashing into those would take up too much of their power.
Tendo had to keep herself fit as the challenges got harder, as the pressure on her was starting to hold her legs back. The women only had a minute left, and as Tendo was in second place, she could feel every woman was in the tower. How did she know that? Leona was at the bottom, and let out a powerful roar, as Leona leaped in the air. Leona smashed right through the barrier, than another barrier, and another. Did it hurt to crash through them? Oh my it did, but the barriers gave her something to grab on to so when her leap was broken by the force against her, she could kick her feet off the barrier to crash through even more of the barriers. It was the worst way to get ahead, but at the same time, she didn’t have to look out for the other women in her way. It was hard for Videl and Marron to get ahead of the other as their wasn’t room for the women to get around the other. Peach herself was right behind the two women, and knew she had to suffer a bit of the barrier. Leaping right over them might be the right move.
Peach leaped right over, and Videl saw her rising up in the air. Maybe it was a mean thing to do. Than again, Videl was in a bit of a bad move as she grabbed the leg of Peach and slammed her right down the ground. Marron and Videl ran past her, and poor Peach was working hard to run up as fast as she could. The contest was no longer that Peach could win the race, but just not be last place. Sarah was getting far ahead, as Tendo was fast approaching her, and the two women could finally see the top of the tower. That meant the women had to use all of their power to get ahead. Sarah could see if she leaped right at the next end, she would have the advantage over Tendo in every way. Sarah had to risk it, and she leaped right through the barrier as fast and hard as she could. Sarah crashed through it like it was a glass window, but this time the pressure on her made it worse and she slid down hard on the slide. Whatever advantage she gained by her leap was lost as she slid far enough and her running having stopped as Tendo ran right over her. By the time that Sarah rose, Videl and Marron right over her.
Sarah was worried as Peach and Leona was getting closer to her, and now she had to put in everything just to make sure the two didn’t overcome her. Sarah got on her feet and ran, using all of her power to get ahead as she felt her body locking up from pain and the aura. The tower was far mightier than she had thought, as she saw Tendo ready to leave the tower. The open path was empty, just as she headed right towards the doorway, with Tendo grinning ear to ear. Maybe she didn’t want to be here, but regardless of what she thought, being first place would make her the happiest woman. Tendo was extremely happy to actually be first place, when she leaped right as fast as she could… and smashed face first into the barrier. Tendo was bounced back, and the first one to run right through the barrier was not Tendo. Marron was worried about what she saw, as Videl ran first. Videl was happy as she pumped her fists, being first on top of the tower. Next up, was Marron. Marron wasn’t exactly happy that she got second place, but at least she was close to first place. The next challenge, she was certain to win.
Tendo leaped right through the path, and soon was Sarah. With the four women on top, it was now a race of who would not be last place. Peach still leaping, and Leona crashing through barrier after barrier. Despite the disadvantage that Leona was facing, Leona felt her adrenaline coursing through her veins and her muscles screaming at her. Leona was putting in her all, and before she knew it, all she had to do was leap right through the open path. Peach saw her fly right through there, and had to admit, she was impressed. Concerned greatly at how stupid the plan was, but impressed. Leona was second to last place, and Peach slid right through. With a few seconds to spare, every woman was on top of a tower that was so high up they could see the other side of the planet, and the aura pressing down on them that was enough to form black holes had ceased. Every woman felt pretty good, even Leona, as they stretched and folded their bodies. The women had gotten farther ahead than they thought, but Leona herself had to admit one thing.
“What’s your name, Princess?”
“Peach!”
“Well, Peach, our fight was short but damn did you put in the effort. I wouldn’t want to fight you at all, which makes you easily one of the best people to fight.”
Peach had no idea what that meant, so she just gave a warm smile and hoped the crazy lady would stop talking to her. Videl herself was stretching her legs, and was wincing a bit in pain. She won, but at the cost of nearly breaking her feet as she did. It didn’t matter to her, victory was all that really mattered to her. It was as they were all thinking things over, that Leona put her hand out for Peach. Peach saw her hand, and knew to take it. Both woman shook, though of course, they put in a bit of effort as they shook each other hands. Enough effort to squeeze and mold steel like it was soft wet clay. Just because both women respected each other, didn’t mean that either were done testing out how strong the other was. Sarah had to admit, she didn’t understand how any of these women were so powerful.
Now that she had time to really think it over, she knew their series up and down. Sure, Peach had an adventure or two, and Leona was a certified badass, but Videl had nothing on YACMHA! How was Videl somehow stronger than Goku? Plus, add in Marron. Sure, Android 18 was one of her favorite anime women ever, but even 18 wasn’t the strongest woman in Dragon Ball. Why add in her daughter? The most confusing of all was Tendo, a character that while a blast in personality, never really came off as a figure of raw power. It didn’t make much sense at all that any of these women were here, even if they were fictional or not. Still, maybe that was the whole point of these women being here. That Sarah got the ‘fake’ version of them. Jeez, Gardner Fox must be the happiest man in the world if he heard about this.
Tendo herself was the first to notice something odd going on, as she was resting at the side to make herself prepare for what would happen next. Looking out at the sun, the sun seemed to be changing color. No more was it yellow, but now the sun was starting to turn blue. It was just a few licks of the flame at the edge, but the blue was rising. Tendo knew things were going to get bad, as she felt the stone on her hands begin to get hot. Even the trees and grass began to change under her eyes as she looked at them. They seemed to be dig right into the ground, like they were moles, trying to hide. Tendo gulped, and knew this was going to be painful, as the booming voice returned.
“CONGRATULATIONS ON PASSING THE FIRST TEST! EACH OF YOU HAD DONE WHAT EVEN THE STRONGEST OF BEINGS WHO EVER LIVED COULD NOT HAVE DONE! THE AURA ALONE WOULD HAVE SQUASHED YOUR BONES TO DUST IF THEY WERE NOT TRAINED TO HANDLE THE FEELING OF A BLACK HOLE UPON THEM! NOW THOUGH, THE TOWER HAD RADICALLY ALTERED THE VERY STAR ORBITING THE PLANET! THE SECOND TEST, WILL BE SURVIVING THE CHANGES OF A BLUE SUN! ONE THAT IS HEAVILY ALTERED AND RATHER RADICAL, AND IS IN AND OF ITSELF, SENTIENT! THEIR IS ONLY ONE WAY TO DEFEND YOURSELF AGAINST THIS STAR! THIS ONE WEAPON, HOWEVER, HAS A WEAKNESS!”
It was at the moment that every woman felt something pop into their hand. They looked at it, and saw it was an ice dagger. Every single one of them more than understood what this meant, and didn’t need to have it explained to them what was wrong with this weapon.
“THE DAGGER WILL MELT AS YOU GET CLOSER TO THE STAR! WHEN THE DAGGER MELTS, YOU WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO THE NEXT TRIAL, BUT AT A CONSEQUENCE! IF YOU STAB THE STAR FIRST, YOU SHALL BE GIVEN A LEG UP FOR THE THIRD CHALLENGE! ANY WHO STILL HAVE THE DAGGER WILL BE TAKEN TO THE NEXT TRIAL BUT WILL NOT BE HELD BACK! FIVE OF YOU HAVE BEEN HANDED THE SAME DAGGER, EXCEPT FOR PEACH! YOUR KNIFE IS ALREADY MELTING! STAB THE STAR, AND REMEMBER, IT WILL DEFEND ITSELF AGAINST YOU!”
Videl held the knife in her hand, and let out a roar at the sky as she held the dagger up.
“THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING I EVER HEARD!”
Every woman had to agree, this was insane! Peach herself saw drops forming on her ice while the rest of the women had solid knives. It was thick and frozen solid, but already, Peach was in last place. Add in the fact that she had seen what happened with Videl and Marron, the two had an advantage over everyone here. Maybe Peach won’t be first place, but this time, she WON’T be last place. Before their eyes could process it, Peach broke into a quick sprint. Peach headed right at the edge of the tower and than with all of her might, tensing up her leg muscles and flexing them so hard she almost erupted the very tower itself, she leaped right in the air. The tower shook from the force of her leap, and the tower nearly began to fall apart. Every woman saw that the tower was tearing itself apart from how Peach leapt off it with enough force to tear it apart, and every woman had two thoughts in their head. Damn did they hate Princess Peach.
They also had to respect the guts of the woman. The other women knew they had to leap off as the tower began to tear itself apart as they were getting ready to leap off it. Marron and Videl didn’t have the same worry that the others did, given their abilities. Marrona and Videl leaped up in the air, and let their Ki guide them, as they shot through the sky. Sarah saw them fly off, and knew she could follow alongside them. It was a power she was holding back, but thanks to all of what she has cosplayed as before, it meant she could fly. Sarah leaped right off, and flew just as well as the two women. Leona and Tendo saw the three women fly off as the tower was falling apart, and each woman eyed the other. Not a hint of fear in the others eyes. They weren’t at all afraid about being left behind, both women were certain they would get ahead. The two women flexed their legs as hard as they could, actually crumbling the very tower they were on from how hard they had moved their legs. At that moment, the two women leaped right off the tower, and caused the falling tower to explode at that very moment.
As each woman was now heading to the sun, the daggers they had in hand had started to melt. Peach, being closer to the star than any other woman, and given her knife had already began melting before things started, had her knife at 3/4th of their size. Peach knew she had to keep a tight grip on the knife when she got to the star, but not too hard. If she snapped it in half, than it would have ruined the whole point of heading to the star. It wasnt much question of how fast Peach was moving, though, when the real speed freaks were right behind her. It was almost a contest between the three flying women who would get to the star first. Marron, Videl, and Sarah were heading out as fast as they could and putting in all energy they could to get right at the star.
It wasn’t as if this was easy for the women. Sure, in space, their was nothing fighting against them as they got closer to the star. But the star itself seemed to be more alive than they had actually thought. The star fired off a lick of fire right at all six of the women, and while just a brief spurt of flame from the star, was actually the size of an entire sea. The flame shot far out at the women, and than the flame seemed to change in shape. While keeping it’s massive size, it split apart to six different spears, heading right to the women with enough force behind them that if this was an attack fired from the planet itself, it would have taken the planet out of its orbit. The spears almost seemed locked into the very women, as it generated more and more heat behind themselves as they were approaching faster and faster to the women. Each one saw it, and they more than knew what the danger would be. They knew that while they were more than strong enough to handle the flames, it was their knives that would be in danger.
Blocking the attacks may not be enough for them, but three of the women weren’t concerned at all. Marron, Sarah, and Videl buffed up their Ki speed and flew away from the attacks coming for them as fast as they could. Just as Videl suspected, the spears began to follow them, but that wasn’t much concern for her. Course they would, but at least they could move and dodge the spears. Sarah herself, thought, that it may be too bad to move around too fast and constantly trying to dodge the attacks of the spears. If anything, it might be them that cause the knives to melt. Still, the three women had the clear advantage, while Peach herself was closest to the spear ready to hit her. Peach had no method to dodge the attack, and as she looked at her melting knife, she had a thought in her head. It was risky, and had as much chance of causing the knife to melt as if the spear struck her. Still, it was the only plan she had! In a quick moment of quick thinking, Peach shoved the knife in her mouth!
It was only possible given how small it had become, but even then it was a tight fit. Peach bunched her body into a ball, and now had two hopes. That the spear wouldn’t melt the knife that was in her mouth, and that her dress wasn’t destroyed by the flames. The spear slammed into Peach, and it baked her entire body. Out of some modesty, the beings in charge of these games prevented her dress from melting right off. That was the only defense she got, as even the skin covered by the dress was hit by the full force of the flames. Peach felt the inferno burn alongside her whole body, and it was an intense heat. The full force of a star had hit her, and it was enough to even cause her skin to become instantly tanned. Peach went through miles of flames before finally getting past it. It was enough to make even her feel the flames lick at her skin, but it was her hope that it was enough. Peach could now see the star was closer than ever, and yet, she still kept her mouth shut.
It might not have been enough to pull it out, only for it to melt. Peach felt water fill up her mouth, but their was still the feeling of ice in there. It was her hope it was enough. While Peach had gotten past her spear, Tendo and Leona themselves saw the spears coming at them. Neither woman had the same idea Peach had, putting the knives in their mouths. Instead, both women had the idea to keep the knife close in one hand, as they lifted their arms. Leona punched the spear as hard as she could, while Tendo grabbed her own spear. Leona blew past the spear with the force of her blow, while Tendo made sure to smother the flame with her hands. The knuckles of Leona felt the burn as even the skin was warped by the touch of the star, while Tendo winced a bit as her hand took in the full force of a spear so large it was more than a 100,000x the size of all six women combined. It was impossible what either woman had done. But both did it.
At the cost of their knives now being at half size. It wasn’t the best plan, some would say, but for either woman, it more than made up for how close the star was. With half of the spears defeated, it was now up to the three women flying as their spears chased them. None of the women got a good look at what the other women did, more focused on heading towards the star while dodging the flaming attacks heading towards them. Videl was the first to think of an attack that may just save her. It was risky, damn risky, but it should put the spears down and save herself. Videl shot up Ki all across her body, so she could blast away the spear coming for her. But that was the wrong move. In her hand, the knife couldn’t handle the Ki coursing through Videl, and thus… shattered. Before Videl could think it, she was already gone from the game.
Marron saw Videl was gone in a flash, and knew what went wrong. An energy attack was the wrong move to make, and that costed her. Which meant doing what Videl just did would also be the wrong move to pull! As the spear was getting closer and closer to Marron, Marron had a thought in her head. The whole point of the knife was to strike the sun, and that was it. Did that mean that she had to HOLD the knife in her hand as it did so? Marron thought over what was said, and smiled as she remembered not a single word was spoken that the knife had to be in the hand. Still, the problem was throwing the knife at said star and making sure it didn’t melt. Marron had to pick her poison. Chance destruction in a single gamble, or continue on a path that seems doomed? Marron didn’t like the odds.
But it was her odds to make, as she threw the dagger as far as she could, right at what would be the heart of the star if it existed. The knife was getting closer and closer, and it seemed just as if it was about to hit the star. It was then and there, the knife was evaporated by what appered to be a shield! It just came up out of nowhere, and instantly turned the knife to water. Marron didn’t even have time to disbelieve her eyes before, just as what happened to Videl, she was gone. Sarah saw the flash as well, and now had three major concerns. The star had a secret weapon that no one knew until now, her knife was melting fast, and now all three spears were heading right towards her! Sarah had to think fast on her feet if she was going to get past this. As she knew, a Ki attack and throwing the knife were both out of hand.
At the same time, getting hit by the spears would just take away her knife and ruin her. Sarah had to think of something fast if she was going to win this at all! Victory was close to her grasp, and yet defeat was getting quicker than she thought. The other three women though, were more than close enough to strike the star. Peach was the closest to it, her knife almost completely gone, and Peach had to make sure she defended against the shield. Peach held the knife close to her, and than directed her body to move around so now it was her legs facing the star. The idea was simple. The concept itself, was rather insane. Peach was going to kick the fire shield when it came to her. The reason it was insane, even with the idea of kicking anything on fire would be insane, is the fact the shield was the size of Rhode Island. The shield formed, more than ready for Peach, as Peach held the knife as close to her body and smothered it.
Peach could feel the ice knife melting on her body, but she was more than willing to let it happen. All Peach had to do, was get right past the shield. If she can do that, than she can win. Peach felt the heat of the shield and she swore she had blisters on her feet, but Peach grit her teeth and was ready for every second of it. Peach hit the shield and her body pierced right through the shield as if it was nothing. 8 miles of flames, and she moved through it in a flash. It was a bit painful, but it was worth it as Peach removed the knife from her body. The knife, now as big as her index finger, was almost gone and dulled. It was a concern, but Peach wasn’t afraid at all. Peach had the knife in her hand, and with all of her strength, pushed forward as she turned around and struck the star with her knife. The knife turned to steam on impact, and Peach had to hope, as the knife just touched the gas of the sun… she was counted as a victory.
Peach was popped away, and now it was the other half of the women. Tendo and Leona had no idea if Peach passed or not. The idea she was killed by the star didn’t even factor to them. Neither thought a single blue star could kill them, so how could it kill Peach? The two women had their knives ready, and saw the shield come up for both of them. Tendo had the idea to put the knife under her clothes, while Leona put the knife between her hands. On the other side of the star and heading in faster than them, was Sarah. Sarah held the knife in close as well, and saw the shield come up. The three women barreled at the star, and if sound could travel in space, you would hear the roar of three women with enough force to take out a planet. All three of them, even Sarah who used her head while keeping the ice knife close to her, charged right through the fire shields.
The blue inferno threatened to melt the women, but the women just passed through the shields in seconds. No pain, no gain, and while the knives were melting and were half the size before they entered the shield, none of them completely melted. All of the women grabbed the knives as quickly as they could, and with all their might, struck the star as hard as they could. Each knife evaporated on touch, and the three women were blinked away before they even knew it. It was at the time they blinked, the star changed back to it’s original color, and the women could see it from where they were placed. On the planets very own moon. All six women were there, and not all of them knew if they lost or not. Marron made it clear to them who lost by raising her hands.
Sarah, Leona, Peach, and Tendo saw that Marron had cuffs on her wrist. It looked to be regular cuffs in size, but the metal looked unique. Blue and shiny. Marron rolled her eyes as Videl had the same problem. Tendo looked at the cuffs, and rolled her shoulders as she wanted to act pretty haughty.
“Ya know, I love the color, looks amazing with what you’re wearing, Marron. Doesn’t fit you too much, Videl, but I think you’d also look good with it.”
Marron didn’t even make a face or noise when she pulled her wrists apart, and shattered the cuffs like glass. The four women were surprised and wondered why she didn’t do that immediately. Than, they saw why, when the broken metal reforged so fast that they almost didn’t see it. Like magnets, they flew back on and corrected themselves in such a way that you didn’t even see the cracks or flaws. It was as if it was never broken, and Videl sighed.
“Marron and I did it five times before we realized no matter what, they’d reform. I even had Marron put her hands in between just to stop it… nope, they formed around her hands, than formed completely when she put her hands away. These things won’t let go, and something tells me that breaking them during our actual challenge would be a bad move. I have to admit, all of these games are getting really weird. The tower thing, and now a star. I swear, if the next problem we’re up against is a great flood, I’m going to blow this moon up.”
Peach giggled a bit, somewhat amused, as she threw in her own suggestion.
“Or perhaps the idea is who can push the moon to the planet below.”
The women, even those rather tired by all of the games, broke into laughter. Tendo, Leona, and Sarah had their own suggestions.
“They’re gonna want to see who can bench press the moon, one handed, and than we have to run a billion miles while carrying it.”
“No, the moon is actually an egg and becomes a super cosmic dragon and we have to fight it, oh, and it can warp our minds so we see a thousand dragons!”
“This is no moon, it’s a battle station, and we have to fight it or it’ll blow us all up!”
All of the women were in hysterics, and Videl had to admit, this was actually kind of fun. It wasn’t every day that Videl talked with women as powerful as these ladies. Women who actually kind of understood what it was like to be this powerful. Videl could feel the power radiating off these women. Among the gods and mortals even stronger than those gods, these women were far above them in every way. Even Marron, who Videl had a hard time not seeing as the little kid she knows, was possibly stronger than Caulifla at full power. It was an amazing idea, but it made her actually pretty happy to think about. The idea that maybe her Marron could become as strong as this Marron. Videl was hoping that maybe, the other women she knows could be this strong.
Something told her 18 and Bulma and Pan could have the potential. Sarah herself was feeling confident. Unlike Marron and Videl, she flew and succeeded. Sure, she didn’t think she was better than them, but it was a feeling she briefly had that gnawed at her. Maybe the reason she was so powerful was because she was imitating these amazing women. Than, in a flash, she meets them and finds out that they may ALL be real. Every single fictional badass woman was a flesh and blood person. Even if they did look odd. With how she competed against all of them, this feeling that she wasn’t worthy of the women at all had gone away from her. Now, she felt like she belonged among them. Like she really was worthy to be considered one of the strongest women to ever exist.
Tendo herself stretched a bit, and had to break up the silence. She was more the talkative one than any of these women, and something was really gnawing at her before any of these events even started.
“Ya know, something these things never told us. What are we even competing for? Strongest, sure, but is that really what this is all about? Oh, here’s five other women as powerful as you, do some tests and surprise, you’re stronger than them, go back home and tell your friends you’re stronger than a woman you never heard of yesterday and no one will ever believe exist. Something just feels off with thise whole contest, ya know? Like we’re in for the surprise of our lives with the next challenge.”
That, was indeed, a concern. The women weren’t as amused after hearing that bit of logic. It was true, what was going to happen to the winner? Were these beings to be trusted, or were they going to be the first wave in a cosmic war against other beings, or even worse, possessed by the beings to have hosts to bring their awesome wrath across the multiverse? Whatever was going on, the women needed answers. It was when they began to hear the voices once again, every woman had her fist at the ready, and all six were united. They didn’t know what to trust the voice or not, but now, they had questions. It was the voice that made all the women ready for anything.
“YOU HAVE BEGUN TO QUESTION WHY YOU ARE ALL HERE. IT IS TRUE, WE PRESENT TO YOU ALL, A REASON TO COME HERE. IT IS A TEST OF WHO IS THE STRONGEST, BUT ONLY BECAUSE ONCE WE DO SO… WE TEST PERSONALLY, IF ONE IS TO BECOME ONE OF US! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US IS THE GREATEST OF A CHOSEN PROFESSION… AND THAN, WE CHALLENGE WHO WE VIEW MAY BE OUR SUPERIOR. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT ONE OF YOU MAY BE ABLE TO REPLACE ME, AS THE STRONGEST BEING OF ALL! THE OPERATION OF RUNNING THE MULTIVERSE REQUIRES THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BEST, AND IF I AM NOT THE STRONGEST IN THE MULTIVERSE, THAN THAT MEANS THE ONE WHO IS MUST REPLACE ME TO RUN EVERYTHING! KNOW, THOUGH, THIS IS AN HONOR AND A REQUEST! IF YOU WISH TO DENY THIS OPPORTUNITY, YOU MAY DO SO NOW… BUT KNOW, YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR MIND! ONCE YOU DENY IT, YOU WILL FOREVER BE AN OUTCAST IN BECOMING ONE OF THE COSMIC LORDS OF ALL OF EXISTENCE ITSELF! CHOOSE WISLEY!”
It wasn’t a simple answer. Was becoming the single most powerful woman in all of existence and running things sounded fun? Hell yeah. But did it require, possibly, giving everything up? That was an answer that none of the women wanted. Videl thought of her daughter and husband, Marron her parents, Sarah her life on the island, Leona her friends at the tournament, Peach her kingdom, and Tendo her family. Every woman had something vital to lose. Something to give up, if they were going to prove they were the strongest. That meant the answer was no, it was just that obvious. It didn’t mean all of the women were instantly going to say that. Perhaps it was a good thing to want to be a part of these events. To challenge the other women and see how far they can go. To really test the limits of how far any of these women would really act. To full feel the power of the other, and know if they even had limits. It wasn’t becoming a cosmic being that ruled everything that interested these women. It was to win against the other women.
It was to prove they were in fact, the best of the best of the best. These were women who had many reasons to be here. Equally as many to not be here. But at the same time, the taste of battle was just too much for them. The thrill of knowing how they would compete against all of these women was, genuinely, electrifying. All six of them had loved ones back home they would want to see again and again, and maybe they can just reject her when this is all over. Why not? It’s not as if the women can’t simply say no at the very end. Maybe they were more than strong enough to reject the offer of this super powerful mega queen. None of the six women uttered a word, and after the brief moment of silence, the message was understood. The voice spoke again, but this time, it seemed quite impressed by the resolve of the women.
“YOUR DESIRE TO TEST EACH OTHER AND SEE WHO IS THE TRULY STRONGEST REMINDS ME AND WHAT I DID TO COME HERE! I AM MORE THAN IMPRESSED, AND BELIEVE YOU ARE ALL MORE THAN READY TO BEGIN THE NEXT TEST. THIS ONE, IS A TEST AMONG YOURSELVES. LOOK UPON YOUR OWN FEET, AND SEE WHERE YOU ARE STANDING.”
The women did, and saw that the moon was starting to change. No longer was it solid rock, but now, it appeared to be solid ice. Marron felt like she skidded a bit, and had to hold herself to prevent moving. Peach wasn’t as lucky, her heels causing her quite a problem as she almost slid all the way to the right before she dug in her heels.
“YOU ARE TO BATTLE AMONGST EACH OTHER IN A FIGHT ON THE ICE OF THE MOON! THE FIRST WOMAN TO HIT THE GROUND WILL BE PUNISHED FOR THE NEXT ROUND. ANY WHO HAVE BOTH THEIR FEET LEAVE THE GROUND WILL ALSO BE PUNISHED. THE LAST ONE STANDING WILL BE THE WINNER, AND GIVEN AN ADVANTAGE IN THE NEXT GAME. MARRON, VIDEL, FOR BOTH LOSING, YOU ARE CUFFED BY YOUR HANDS. BREAK THE CUFFS, AND YOU SHALL BE PUNISHED. IF YOUR CUFFS ARE BROKEN BY ANOTHER, YOU ARE FINE BUT THEY WILL SELF REPAIR. PEACH, AS WINNER OF THE PREVIOUS MATCH, YOU ARE THE ONE TO START THE ATTACKS! NONE MAY ATTACK YOU UNTIL YOU DO, BUT KNOW THEIR IS A TIME LIMIT. THE SECOND YOU START, THE FIGHT WILL LAST A WHOLE MINUTE. IF TWO ARE LEFT, NO PRIZE IS GIVEN TO THE WINNER! THE FIGHT BEGINS AT PEACH’S FIRST STRIKE!”
With that, Peach got a good look at every woman. Videl and Marron were more than ready, already knowing at the fact they were at a disadvantage. Sarah herself knew wearing those platform shoes of her would lead to trouble, as she had something of a hard time even standing. Tendo struck a karate pose, ready in case Peach went behind her for a sneak attack. Only one woman wasn’t ill prepared or prepared. Leona, who cocked an eyebrow and lifted her hand, suggesting the bring it motion.
“Come on, Princess. I wanna see how hard I flatten ya when I take you down.”
This wasn’t said with the previous disrespect of before. To win the star contest with a disadvantage first, that took a lot of power and skill to do. Leona was more than impressed by what Peach was, and Peach knew how strong Leona was. Peach cracked her shoulders, pulled up her sleeves, and made sure her gloves were on just fight. Peach dug in, almost leaning as she felt how slippery the ice was, and in a flash, ran so fast she shattered the ground under her. Leona was only a few feet away from Peach, but in the distance Peach traveled from there to Leona, it was with enough speed that even light could not have caught up. Peach was upon Leona, and had one leg off the ground as she kicked Leona square in the abs as hard as she could. Leona skid back, and it was already hard as Leona felt like her chest just exploded from the force. Making sure she didn’t hit the ground from how fast she was reeling on the slippery ice was half the job as well!
Peach was damn tough, and Leona almost didn’t see Peach was right behind her, twisting her body to elbow striem Leona in the back of the head. Almost being the most important word as Leona twisted back and struck Peach’s elbow with her own. The sound made caused an explosion of air that reverberated all across the moon. It shook it and the other four women almost hit the ground, barely able to stand still. The ice seemed to get more slippery every second, and that was true. The ice was melting thanks to the body heat of the movements from Peach and Leona alone. The faster they moved as they kicked, punched, and wrestled against the other was enough to cause miles upon miles of ice to start melting. It would only get worse when Videl and Marron saw Sarah and Tendo surround each other. Tendo and Sarah didn’t even have to symbol to each other what the idea was. Go against the weaker prey first.
Videl and Marron saw their cuffs, and Marron blurted out some warnings to Videl.
“I wouldn’t even try a Ki blast! I bet it’d be too much for the cuffs to handle!”
Videl nodded back to Marron. She could have let Videl be a test subject, but the two women were allies in the thick of it. Tendo and Sarah slid against the two women, and threw out powerful kicks. Videl blocked Sarah’s, while Marron grabbed Tendo’s leg. With all of her might, Marron was going to throw Tendo right at Sarah and knock the two of them out. Tendo, though, let Marron catch her leg. Why would she throw such an obvious high kick at a foe she believed at the very least to be near her strength and speed? Just to pull Marron in, and make HER fall to the ground! Videl saw what was going on, and twisted her body around as Marron began to fall to the ground and catch Marron. Sarah saw what Videl did, and could have taken down Videl right then and there with an attack to her back. Sarah pulled her fist up… and it shook.
No, she couldn’t do it. Sarah could never attack Videl after she just saved Marron, and especially attack her from behind. Looking at Tendo’s smirk, Sarah was actually quite a bit annoyed. Sarah decided to punish Tendo for that smirk, by raising her hands and showing her a technique that may not have a lot of power, but at this very moment, may be more devastating than any attack known to exist.
“SOLAR FLARE!”
The light show blasted in Tendo’s eyes, and Tendo let out a scream as she hit the ground, trying to rub her eyes. Tendo realized what happened, and swore under her breath as she was popped away. Videl and Marron were back at level, and saw what Sarah had done. Sarah shrugged, and the two women gave her a thumbs up. Sarah’s heart swelled as she saw the sight of these two women praise her for what she did… and than her head swelled when the two uppercutted her as hard as they could at the jaw. They WERE thankful, but this was a contest of the best, and Sarah let her guard down. Both of Sarah’s feet left the ground, and she faded away, at least having the memory of Videl giving her the thumbs up. That left Marron and Videl alone, and the two eyed each other. With no other rival in their way, the two women lifted their hands up, cuffed as they were, and than, rushed at each other.
While the two women went at it, Leona and Peach were causing half of the moon to melt at the speeds the two women were going at. Running all across the moon as they were, delivering powerful strikes and kicks to the other. Leona hit Peach hard in the jaw with an elbow strike, and Peach fired back by striking the top of Leona’s head with an axe kick. Leona almost hit the ground on her knees, but with all of her leg muscle strength and a powerful roar, stood back up and threw a powerful uppercut right at Peach. Peach barely dodged the strike, and it was a good thing. The strike was so powerful that the wind pressure shot right out of the moon, and the vibrational force of her punch moved all the way to the planet below, and FLATTENED a whole mile. It was completely flat, destroying the hills and trees around it, just to form what looked to have been a giant fist imprint. If Peach saw that, she might have been a little bit scared. Peach though, was a bit too focused on the fight of her life, as she shoulder checked Leona. It wasn’t just a powerful shove from Peach, it was with enough force that Peach put into it that it rocked the whole moon as she plowed right into Leona at full force.
Nearly the entire moon split in half from what she did, and as the cracks formed under her, cracks formed everywhere. Even between the feet of Videl and Marron, who were extremely focused on each other. Marron would block a left, Videl would strike the right. The two women were trying to find a single opening that the other would have. It didn’t matter what the other woman did, she was just completely shielded against any other attack. It was as if the women were in some ways, invunerable to any form of attack. Whatever thanks to their speed, endurance, or just their actual durability, neither woman would let up. Not if the punches or kicks were actually a harm to them. With one flying knee, Videl thought she finally had Marron as she made sure one leg stayed on the ground. That was the wrong move to use, when the ground under her broke. The ice had shattered as thousands of cracks formed, and Videl felt as if she was going to fall apart.
Marron thought, as she saw Videl about to hit the ground, it meant she had the advantage over Videl. It was at that moment she found that maybe she should have gotten a good look at were she was standing. That was because the ice had utterly melted right down from under her, and Marron moved in for the kill with an elbow strike. Marron felt her body jolt and she slipped as well, as both she and Videl hit the ground at the same time. They both poofed away, and it only left two women left on the moon. Leona and Peach pulled back their fists as they felt the very ground break apart and the moon was tearing itself apart. They didn’t care about the hundreds of gallons of water around them swirling like a tidal wave. The two women only cared about each other.
The women were more than certain that whoever won this fight meant that they were going to win the rest of the games. Halfway in, they were able to tell who was the strong one among these women. Sarah, Videl, and Marron had their gifts, but that was all they had. Tendo never showed anything special compared to the rest of the women. It was Peach or Leona. Leona was loving every bit of this as she really felt her blood pumping. Running and jumping was kids games. A fight, an intense one, was what she really needed to test all of her power and strength. Leona could tell how mighty Peach was when Peach threw in a striking punch right at the base of Leona’s abs, and nearly tore her in half just from the sheer force itself. Leona more than gladly responded back when she grabbed Peach’s shoulders, and held on them tightly.
If Peach’s shoulders were made of something as soft as titanium, the shoulders would have broken instantly from the grip strength. Because Peach was made of something sterner, Peach wasn’t as hurt but things got bad for her when Peach saw why she was grabbed. Leona slammed Peach as hard as she could with a headbutt. It was loud, enough to nearly crack the moon in half just from the sound alone. Peach felt her eyes cross and than it got worse when Leona kneed Peach in the stomach, and than with all of her force, threw Peach to the ground as hard as she could. Despite what should be a perfect victory, Peach was fast enough to grab on to the clothes of Leona. Pulling down as hard as she could, Leona almost fell down to her knees, but more than able to lift both of her elbows and strike the back of Peach as hard as she could.
Peach hit the ground before Leona went down, and Leona knew the fight would have continued for the next few hours, if the rules weren’t there. Peach poofed, and Leona folded both of her arms when she was poofed away. In that moment, Leona found herself in a new place as she saw Peach rubbing her forehead, in a bit of pain. Tendo herself was right behind Leona, as she almost elbowed Videl right in the face. Leona got a good look around where she was, and could see… black. It was pure pitch black, and the source of light in the room was a single candle. It was enough room to fit all six women, but that was just it. Seven women would have made sure no one had any arm space. Marron herself was crouched and looking around as best as she could, using any sense of Ki she had. Interestingly, she could swear she saw things that were in the void. Sarah leaned on nothing, but she didn’t fall over. Instead, she really was leaning on something. It felt somehow soft and hard at the same time, like the surface was softer than a pillow, but what was behind it was made up of a substance harder than anything. Tendo herself was, once again, the first to break silence.
“Great. So I think she didn’t like how we did in that last game. You think we were meant to say no, we WON’T fight each other?
Leona wanted to say shut up, but Tendo was right. That last fight was real fun, but it also felt like an utter mess. Like their aggression had just gone up. Sarah herself was wondering why they were stuck in this black void, and broke in a sigh.
“Guys… I think maybe we’re being punished. Don’t quote me on that. Everything here just feels off, I don’t even know what the plan is for this. Break out?”
It was quite lonely in there, even if the six of them were in there. Tendo sighed and just felt like an idiot. Actually, she kind of felt weak. Tendo was taken down first in the fight, and that more than made her feel like she wasn’t someone worth much when compared to the rest of the women. Tendo was never much of a fighter, to be honest, but she more than felt she was someone who deserved to be here. Yet not once had she shown anything to deserve to be here. Tendo swore she was someone who was just as tough and fast as the others. What made her different, was that she had to be smarter than the rest of the women. Tendo put her hand against the wall in front of her, and knew what the plan was. Just start punching. At the same time, she never got the disadvantage for being taken down first. Tendo knew the voice would be coming up quickly amd tell her what to do. Tell the rest of them as well. Tendo thought about it, as she was ready to justs tart digging at super speed.
It was than, she thought of something else. Tendo put her ear against the wall, and suspected that she might have to hear what is going on. In that moment, she heard it. Things were moving right in the walls, and Tendo put her hand up for the rest of the women.
“Everyone, I hear things in the walls. Put your ears against them, quick!”
The rest of the women did exactly what Tendo suggested, and in that moment, every woman put their ears against the walls. At that moment, they heard digging, and beeping. Sarah snapped her fingers, having felt something in the walls earlier.
“Guys, it’s machines! Somehow, theirs machines moving through these walls!”
Peach herself could hear what was going on, and heard a very interesting sound. Explosives. They were faint, but only because of the vast distance from where the explosions was. They were pratically miles away and yet the vibrations and sounds could be heard from the force and sound. Leona herself heard what sounded like blades cleaving through whatever what the wall was made. These machines were moving FAST… and oddly, it felt like they were moving in a way that suggested that they should have been done with all the material. Maybe… maybe the substance fixed itself as it was destroyed! It was than that Marron heard a loud crash… and was the one to piece it together.
“The machines are looking for each other… and destroying each other! It’s a game of battleship! The machines are trying to find each other and tear each other apart, and I think that’s what we’re meant to do!”
It was than, the voice returned. This time with confidence, as it shook the entire complex of where they all were.
“I HAD HOPED YOU WOULD FIGURE OUT WHAT THE GAME WAS, BEFORE I HAD IT ALL SET UP. THE SIX OF YOU HAVE SHOWED INTELLIGENCE, WHICH IS WHAT IS NEEDED IF ONE IS TO TAKE UP THE POSITION OF POWER! THE NEXT GAME IS TO FIND THE MACHINES, AND DESTROY THEM! THESE MACHINES ARE DESIGNED BY THE SMARTEST WOMAN IN ALL OF EXISTENCE, AND THESE MACHINES ARE VERY POWERFUL! THE WALLS ARE ABLE TO SELF REGENRATE, SO YOU WILL NEED TO MOVE FAST. THE FIRST WOMAN TO DESTROY 10 MACHINES WILL WIN THE GAME. TENDO, FOR COMING HERE FIRST, YOU WILL HAVE A HANDICAP. LEONA, FOR WINNING, YOU GET A PRIZE.”
Both women felt something appear in their hands, where Videl and Marron were glad they didn’t have any cuffs on them. Tendo had a blindfold, and Leona a miners cap with a light.
“YOU MUST USE YOUR SENSES TO HELP YOU TRAVEL, AND THE ONLY SOURCE OF LIGHT WILL COME FROM VARIOUS CANDLES ALL ACROSS THE CAVERNS THAT ARE EMBDED IN THE CAVES. THE MACHINES ALSO PRODUCE LIGHT. LEONA, YOU WILL HAVE A SOURCE OF LIGHT, AND TENDO, YOU SHALL HAVE NO WAYS TO SEE WITH YOUR OWN BLINDFOLD. SARAH, VIDEL, MARON, YOU HAVE THE ABILITIES TO DETECT KI, BUT THESE MACHINES HAVE NO KI TO DETECT, JUST THE ENERGY THEY PRODUCE WITH SOME OF THEIR… ATTACKS. YOU SHALL HEAD OUT AND REMEMBER, THE ONE WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF MACHINES DESTROYED WILL BE PUNISHED. THE GAME SHALL BEGIN… AFTER ALL THE MACHINES SELF REPAIR. YOU SHALL KNOW IT, WHEN THE CANDLE DIES.”
With that, the voice had left, and the women had to be ready. Peach cleaned up her face with some makeup, and had to admit, everything was really exciting. Since this had all begun, she had never had something like it. Oh Daisy would love all of this, everything here seemed to be more than she had ever assumed. Videl herself stretched, trying her best way to figure out what was going on. It was hard to stretch, given how small the area was, but it was what she needed to do. Tendo was more than ready, and got a good look at Sarah. Sarah was really staring at her for a while, and while Tendo stretched her arm, Tendo had to speak up.
“Okay, what are you staring at? Am I really that interesting looking compared to the princess and the walking human killing machine known as Leona?”
Sarah was a little flummoxed, and tried her best smile as she waved a bit.
“No, just… I really am a big fan of where I know you from, but of all the people here, you surprise me the most being here. I’d have assume Akane would be here, not you.”
“Yeah, most people expect Akane to be the one who would be here. I’m just a woman who doesn’t like advertising my power, that’s all. I don’t know… what I can do never came off real special to me. It felt like bragging that I could jump higher than a frog. It was all so… childish and dumb. I don’t know, why should I treat it as anything special?”
Sarah was a bit confused, craning her head the whole while and smiling as bright as she could.
“Why not be happy? It’s a part of you. Aren’t you proud of yourself?”
Tendo didn’t want to give the answer. Frankly… no. Tendo wasn’t proud of herself. What did she have to be proud of? The fact she was the strongest in her universe? Well, as Tendo wanted to remind her, she was no longer the strongest in her universe. Because now she was in a universe with five other women who, were in her opinion, far stronger than her. Videl saw Tendo’s concerned face, and put her hand on the womans shoulder, and gave her a comforting smile that only a mother could ever give.
“Don’t look down on yourself too much. Despite our fight, I can tell you’re a good woman.”
“How’s that?”
“I’m a mom. I just know who is or isn’t a good person on quick sight. I know you don’t feel proud of yourself in this matter, but I think that’s because you are overly judging yourself. Yeah, we aren’t always the best versions of ourselves, but I really do think you need to respect who you are more. No one is always going to be perfect, no matter what. What you need to remember, is what you can and can’t do, and than, master that. Become a better person, and focus on the positives before the negatives take you over. I believe in you. I have too, given I consider you a rival for the title.”
Tendo heard everything Videl had said, looked her square in the face, and said the first thing that came to her mind.
“You’re a mom? Because unless you had that kid at 14, I just don’t buy it.”
Videl just looked rather proud and embarrassed as she waved it off.
“I’m in my 20’s, but she’s REALLY young. Not even 2.”
“Coulda fooled me.”
Tendo didn’t know whatever to tell Videl that she considered her advice pretty bad, when every woman noticed the candle was dying out. They all knew what that meant, and were more than ready. Every woman faced the wall, and had lifted their hand. When the candles light finally died, each woman punched the wall as hard as they could. With that, a loud BANG was heard all across the ground, and even the machines were alerted. Tendo took in her blindfold, and wrapped it around her eyes. Already, she was blind, and things would only get worse as she leaped into the wall. Did she hit the wall as hard as she could with her body? Of course she did. Did she plow through it, full force, as if it wasn’t even there? Yes she more than did. Did things go well for Tendo when she did that? Not at all, when the reality was, she actually found it got harder and harder as she moved in. What the voice didn’t tell the women, mostly because it knew it would be fun to watch, was the walls would repair and than, improve. The force used against the walls would only be used against the women.
Sarah was one of the first to find out how bad it was as she was digging, trying to find the sounds of the machine when she finally found a light source. Finding the light source, Sarah thought things had gotten easier for her when the light source flickered, as the walls around her were repairing. Sarah didn’t want to lose the light, so she punched the wall around her to make sure she had the ability to see where she was. That time, when she punched a bit hard, she felt some pressure against her fist. The wall in front of her still crumbled, but this time, it provided some resistance to her. Sarah knew the walls were getting stronger, which meant she had to find the machines ever quicker. One woman who didn’t even bother to look for machines, was Marron. Marron made herself nice and comfortable in the hole she made and rested her back on, listening to the walls around her.
Marron was waiting for the perfect moment, as she had lifted her arms up. It was a technique her dad taught her, and eventually, she could hear it happening. The machine was coming in close to her, or rather, relatively close. Just riding in front of her, which made it perfect as she pulled her arms back, and began to say the words tha were drilled into her and her dad.
“KAME…HAME…HA!”
Marron felt the energy swell in her as if it was an ocean, and let it all burst as she moved her arms forward, and the massive Ki blast fired as fast and as hard as it could. The energy exploded from her, and was wider than a mile and 10x as long as it fired off. The machine, slicing and breaking apart anything in its way, was caught by the blast and was evaporated in an instant. Nothing remained of the machine, as it was just vapor in the air. Marron grinned, as she heard a voice in her ears. A voice from the woman before, telling her 1. Marron listened for more machines, ready to move around to get another shot at a machine.
While she was doing that, poor Peach felt something digging under her. Peach was ready to raise her hand to crush what was below her, when she felt it was hot. Really hot. Almost on instinct, Peach ducked away and leaped as hard as she could away from the source of heat. It was the right move, as a massive beam of energy just pulverized everything where she just was. Peach saw the beam move far past and go up, and all she could think was, what kind of game did she get in to allow this kind of travesty to happen in her life? Peach let out a sigh, still not sure what was going on with her. These games were getting more difficult, and after the fight with Leona, she was getting tired. Her own arms and legs were bruised, and Peach felt like her knuckles were in pain from punching all of these walls. No, not from punching the walls. The events that these women were doing were starting to get to her.
They were getting to every one of the women, given how tired Videl felt as she punched and clawed her way through the ground to find a machine. She felt the immense energy used by Marron, and she wanted to do it as well. Than, a small voice in her head warned her. It was telling her she can do it… but can she do it, and win the next two rounds? Videl bit back her tongue, not sure what to say back to her own thoughts. Videl decided to keep on digging, but she kept the idea of using a Ki blast to aid her in the back of her head. That would be more than useful. While Videl wsa being as conservative as she could with her Ki attacks, one was a bit more liberal with it than Videl was. Sarah concentrated all of her energy in her body, having dug a few miles away from everyone else, and let out a wave of energy.
It was like a bomb, blowing away everything around her in a powerful instance. Nothing remained as she was left there, but no machine. Sure, she wanted to destroy a machine, but the real plan was to get a machine to hear what she was doing. Why go search for one, when you could make it come to you? Just as she predicted, she heard the rumbling of a machine, and finally, it crashed into the open space. The machine was large, more like a train merged with a spider, than any actual practical machine. It had saws for arms and drills on the front of it. It was a terrifying force, and it was packing a lot of power behind it. The machine must have scanned Sarah than and there, because steam almost exploded from it as it headed right towards her. The intent was obvious. Crush the prey. Sarah saw it coming at her with greater speed than something that was 50x time her size would suggest, but Sarah was more than ready for the great machine. With both hands pointed at it, Sarah smirked.
“BIG BANG ATTACK!”
A beam soared at the machine, more powerful than anything Vegeta has ever used. What can Sarah say… she kind of hoped Bra would be here, after cosplaying as Bra a long while ago. That gave Sarah the ability to tear apart the machine, and she could hear the 1. Sarah dug her way out of the hole she made, and could already hear it filling. While she and Marron were glad to be the first to get these machines, Leona was already upon one of the machines, and she grinned. At first, Leona had no idea why the lamp on her head would provide any help. But thanks to the light, she had noticed something none of the other women had as she was tracking for her own machine. Thanks to how weak the artificial light was, none could really tell. The markings on the dirt were different if one really looked deep.
That meant, it had been changed recently. Leona quickly followed after the changed dirt, punching and clawing her way through, and she could hear the vibrations get louder as she did. In a matter of seconds, she leaped upon one of the machines, grinning and ready for an intense battle. The machine saw her head towards it, and the saws went right for her. Leona wasn’t scared at all. She didn’t care these were super unique metal blades. The kind of metals forged by stars themselves, to slice and dice whole planets. The saws headed for her at speeds greater than lightning, but to Leona, looked like they were moving in slow motion, thanks to the fact she seen REAL speed from the women before. Leona kicked the top of the saw as hard as she could, and shattered it. Than, as fast as she could, she grabbed another of the saw blades and ripped it off from the arm of the machine.
The machine didn’t even have time to move before Leona spun around, and sawed the machine in half with its own saw. The machine was torn away, and Leona was grinning ear to ear as she knew that she saw tracks just like those the machine made. Except… they were tracks facing far away from where the machine was going. Already, Leona was on the trail of the next machine as she headed farther in. It didn’t take long for her, after pulverizing through the dirt, to get far enough in to finally see the second machine. Leona didn’t even stop moving, all she did was kick herself forward, and in one might tackle, smashed RIGHT through the machine. Two down already, as Leona broke right through her path to find the next few machines. Leona moved so fast, she actually heard the explosion she fomed from the machine behind her, and she knew the vibrations would trick the others eventually as they headed towards it.
Leona was right on the money, as one of them punched and clawed their way through, having heard the vibrations of the explosion. They more than assumed that they would be able to find what had caused the sound of it, and find the machine that caused it. With one mighty punch, she broke through to find the open area… and it was already filling itself up and nothing was there. Tendo though, couldn’t see it at all. Taking in a big smell, she had her nose filled with smoke, and began to gag at what she smelled. Geat, Tendo thought. Maybe she really was doomed at this point. Everything she tried to do has currently failed for her. Not once had she gotten close to finding one of these machines, and she doubt she will. Just at her lowest, she heard something.
Another explosion. Part of her wanted to go out and find it. Than, her cynical side came back to her. Go find it? PLEASE… Like she was ever going to get close to the machines. No way, given her handicap and the fact the rest of the women were just plain better than her. It wasn’t a contest, they just all were better than her. Tendo curled into a ball, and knew what to do here and now. Give up. Let the rest of the women win, and just stop competing. If she protested it, maybe the being in charge of this would kick her out. Maybe giving up was the smartest thing that Tendo ever did. How could she get ahead when she was just so… pathetic. Tendo curled into her ball even further, trying to hide from the world, and she began to cry a little. Yeah, she was so great, so strong, picked for these games… and she was proud of it.
Tendo was the best. Tendo was the strongest. No one could ever compete with her. No one could… and than she found out she was a big fish in a small pond. Now, with the other big fish, she was the prey. What all the other big fish ate to get stronger. Giving up here and now was the only sane move to make. What else could Tendo do. TRY AND FAIL?! Yeah, that would only show off how weak she really was. Working like that would only demonstrate that she failed. That… that she tried and failed. As opposed to what? Giving up, going home, and saying she stood no chance? Of cours she stands no chance, everyone knows it. Like… like Videl… and Marron… oh man, Peach and Sarah… Leona is probably… who was actually saying she would fail? The one reveling in her failure and ready to let her know how bad she was at all this? Only one person.
Nabiki. Tendo was filled with something new in the inside of her stomach, as she clawed at her knees and something swelled in her. It was a powerful feeling, and Tendo felt the fire burst inside of her. Giving up? Like THAT was an option? WHO SAID IT WAS AN OPTION, BUT A WOMAN WHO WAS VERY SCARED IN HOW SHE WOULD FAIL?! Tendo would not just give up here and now, no matter what that dumbass voice said! Tendo was determined, and lifted her fist in the air. With all of her might, she smashed the ground as hard as she could with that fist, and the very complex they were all in shook. Everyone, woman and machine, felt the vibrational waves… and for a brief moment, every machine had stopped to make sure the vibrations didn’t destroy them. It was just for a brief moment. A second. They turned on so quickly, and with that turning on… two ears picked up the beep that the machines had made. It was faint, barely audible, really.
To who heard it, it was like thunder. Tendo didn’t waste it, memorizing where every beep was, and than, kicked her feet and moved her hands to run on all fours as hard as she could. Tendo didn’t see where she was going, but she knew how fast she was moving. Tendo ran so hard and so fast that she actually burst right in front of Peach, and kept on moving. Peach didn’t even see her for a brief moment, wondering if that was another Ki attack. Tendo was causing the very material she was running through to nearly burst into flames from her raw speed. Tendo moved like lightning, running right through everything in her path and she almost screamed at the top of her lungs. It was for the best she didn’t.
She might have scared everyone there, as she found another machine. Tendo didn’t see the machine, but she did hear the gears whirring inside of it. Tendo could feel the engine roar as it headed towards her, intending to mow her down then and there. Tendo wasn’t worried one bit, because she wasn’t heading for the saw blade that was intended to cut her down in size. Tendo didn’t worry one bit as she made sure to destroy the weapon in one blow from her leg. Striking it as hard as she did, she shattered it right before she landed right on the machine, and pierced right through it. With another destroyed, it had become a game to see who would finish off the rest of the machines.
Every woman got to destroy a few of the machines. Peach tore one apart with her bare hands and than mashing it all together like it was a ball, she waited for another to come in close as she listened for it. Just as it got close enough, Peach threw the metal orb she had created with her bare hands, and more than 50 tons of metal tore through the very dirt like the dirt was made of paper, and cleaved right through the machine. Marron fired off another blast that incinirated one machine, and than concentrated on her Ki blast. Instead of moving in a straight line, it went off to find the greatest source of heat it could find, and that source of heat came from another machine just a few miles away. A machine that was more ash than machine. Marron broke up her energy blast and made them search for even more machines.
Videl herself knew that she didn’t need to use any Ki blasts to destroy these machines. Why should she, when she has a far better weapon to use? No, Videl instead just used the very ground she was in as a weapon. Spinning herelf as fast as she could, Videl broke apart the dirt and grabbed what she could from it. Making sure it was in her hands, she carried with her massive mounds of the earth around her that easily swallowed her up in terms of size. Using these hard dirt paths as clubs, Videl smashed her way across the area until she finally came across a machine. With all of her might, she smashed the machine in between with her giant earth weapons, flattening the machine like it was a frying pan. Just as close to her, was Leona who was heading right for her own machine.
This machine was more the explosive type, using powerful bombs to clear its path and destroy everything around itself. These explosions were massively powerful, almost on the level of an atomic weapon. The machine was ready for an attack, and fired a burst of explosives in long range in a 360 angle, all designed to protect itself and clear everything in the way at the same time. Leona saw the amazing burst of power that exploded from the machine, and was more than unimpressed. If anything, Leona was downright offended by how WEAK the explosives were! If they were meant to be a threat to her, than they had to ave a bit of a bigger bang. Leona let the machine know what kind of power it needed when she clapped her hands as hard as she could. The shockwaves caused by her mighty clap blew away the machine until nothing was even left! Eventually, all of the women had at least defeated five of the machines. But only 3 were at 9. Leona, Marron… and Tendo.
The women were already making sure to get to the last of the machines, one of them that was already aware of what had happened to the others. Every machines destruction caused a signal to warn the others. None of them really had time to prepare for the women. This one, though, did have the time to prepare. If it was going to survive, it would have to adapt. The machine got faster, and the strategy for when a woman arrives would be anaylzed into it. The first to come right for the machine, was in fact, one of Marron’s powerful Ki blasts. The Ki blast barreled right for the machine, but instead of all the other machines that were destroyed when it got close, this one was prepared. The metal glowed a bit, and the instant the Ki struck it… the Ki blast was fired in the opposite direction! The machine reflected itself against the force of the Ki and sent the attack far away. Marron had no idea her plan had failed, and was just waiting for the eventual boom. Course, as her beam was sent away, it did get in the way of one person.
Without a single pause, Tendo slapped away the beam blast, dissipating it as if it was made of bubbles. Tendo burst right into the area where the attack had happened, ready to put some damage on the machine. Crashing into the room at the same time but in a different direction, was Leona herself. It was quickly, a free for all between the two women. Both knew they were 9, and this would be the last machine. Somehow, both of them were certain that the other was also 9. They just felt it, given how the entire air around the women had changed. None of them were willing to go easy on the other, as they both headed right for the machine. Leona was ready to break it apart with one punch, Tendo ready to just headbutt the damn thing. The women were so close, but the machine was more than ready for both of them. It fired off quicktime explosives that slammed into both women and bursted them far apart. It was twin explosives aimed right for the eyes of the women. Leona was in a bit of pain as she held her nearly burned eyes, seeing stars. Tendo, though, wasn’t flashed at all.
Thanks to her blind cloth, in reality, she was more than happy to rush out with minimal problem. The saws came at her, faster than they ever had before, but Tendo felt the very wind move when they got in close. Tendo just spun around as quickly as she could, and caused an air pressure attack that blew away the saws. Like a spinning drill, Tendo got in close to the machine, that set up the reflection again. Piling in all of its power, the desire was to push Tendo off. Maybe if it was a mere punch, but the speed and force of her spin had more than enough power to break through the reflection, and than, slice right through the machine. The explosion behind her made Tendo grin, and she ehard the most wonderful words to ever pass in her ears.
You win.
With that, Leona was able to get her eyes back to their perfect vision, and the first thing she saw Tendo standing there and flexing both of her arms. Leona had to admit, given how happy Tendo was, that Leona herself was more than impressed. Maybe Tendo really was a worthy rival, as she and Tendo were blinked away. Every woman was, and finally in a instant moment, were all with each other again. This time, it was not a deep dark void. Rather, where they were was in what looked like to be, the garden of eden itself. The most beautiful sight any of them have ever seen in all of their lives. It was a pleasant area to be, as the wind blew and the water around them looked clear crystal perfect. Nothing was out of place, and it all just looked right. Marron took in a deep breath, and was smiling.
“God, the caves or whatever they were were so… musty. Now this, this is a nice place to be after all of that. Though I gotta ask, who was it that won? Leona, Peach… me?”
Tendo no longer had the blindfold on as she didn’t want to brag. More she wanted the voice to tell all of them she won. Tendo was more than proud of herself in that moment than she ever had been in her life, and Leona was more than impressed by the woman. Most people would insist that Tendo just got lucky, but she saw how the woman moved, how she acted. Tendo was something else. Someone to be admired, respected… and seen as a worthy foe. Leona knew that if she was going to win, she had to take EVERY woman here seriously. Especially the young Marron. Leona saw what had happened with one of the machines under the earth. The flash and speed of the power was impressive, but what most surprised Leona was how smart Marron was to create it and control those Ki blasts. Their was no mistaking it, the young girl was practically a genius.
Sarah herself was wondering why they were at such an amazing spot in the world. Right now, it seemed like nothing here was off. The sun was shining, it almost seemed like the grass was singing, and everything just looked perfect and right. Even the flowers looked so good, that Sarah was surprised she didn’t see bees everywhere pollinating the flowers. Actually, after Sarah had just thought that, she used her ears once again. It took her a while to notice, and she could tell something was up. Peach herself saw what Sarah was staring at, and leaned to the closest woman to speak in her ear.
“Why is she staring at the bush so hard?”
Videl had no idea, as she was wondering what she was looking at. So, Videl looked at the bush herself, and looked as hard as she could. Man, did the bush look really nice. In fact, it kind of looked… too nice. Like it was made up. The bush looked to have never been flawed at all, and yet, their was no sign that it was plastic or the like. It had every sign that it was made up of what any bush would be made of. Next to it, the flowers themselves also looked perfectly arranged. As if someone had put them up and made sure they were in exact order, to look as perfect as they ever could be. It just didn’t make sense. This wasn’t natural.
“Everyone, does this garden look like someone just made it up and was waiting for us to come?”
Tendo rolled her eyes and motioned an of course sign by the shrug of her shoulders as she motioned for the women to look all over the garden.
“I think it’s pretty obvious this is all set up. Everything has been set up. Look at how the clouds are in perfect order. Hell, they even make shapes. That cloud looks like a puppy. That cloud looks like a circle. That cloud looks like an AK-47 aimed right at us and… hey wait a second…”
Tendo didn’t even have time to register what she said when the cloud opened fire on them. On the one hand, Tendo had seen some really crazy things since she got here. No, scratch that. Everything had been utterly crazy. From the tower to the star to the ice moon to digging and meeting all of these women to the goddess, everything was rather crazy. Right here and now, she thought she had seen it all. Than a cloud just formed an AK-47 like it was nothing, and she said it loading. Tendo thought she had gone nuts until she heard Videl scream something that was actually more insane than the fact a cloud had just become a gun.
“THE BUSH… THE BUSH JUST BECAME A FIST!”
When one says that, you’d think that the bush was just a fake. No, it was a bush a second ago. Than, as if in the blink of existence itself, the bush went from a nice well formed part of the ground to just a fist. Before any woman knew it, the bush shot out in the shape of a fist, aimed right for Videl. Videl was more than ready, raising her arm. Not like she would have any problem from a bush. Even if it was diamonds, she would handle it. Which was why when the bush hit her and Videl shot back in pain, she was more than confused. The leaves seemed to cut into her, and from that, the bush itself exploded on impact to change in shape. It was now a million leaves, and a few flowers, each one aimed at every single one of the women. The stream near them stopped flowing, and instead, turned into a shape of what looked like, of all creatures, an Ankylosaurus. Even the wind itself seemed to have become a threat. A few mini tornadoes formed, all in the shape of… as insane as it seemed, versions of the women!
The wind was in forms of these women, just swirling in air and brief electricity in their eyes. Even more, it somehow seemed, as impossible as it was but many impossible things were happening, that these fake women were smirking. All of the garden was changing, from the dirt forming into what seemed like golems and the flowers taking the form of mini soldiers that used their own petals as swords, that the voice that had spoke to them had returned. This time though, the voice seemed… almost concerned.
“ALL OF YOU NOW ENTER TO THE FIFTH CHALLENGE. YOU MUST FACE THE GARDEN, CREATED TO BE OUR HOME. HOWEVER, THE GARDEN DOES NOT INVITE NON GODS. YOU MUST PROVE YOUR MIGHT BY SURVIVING AGAINST THE HOARDES. THE SIX OF YOU MUST DEFEAT ONE TO PASS, AND IF YOU ARE DEFEATED… YOU SHALL BE BANNED BEFORE ENTERING THE SIXTH AND FINAL CHALLENGE. YOU MUST USE ALL OF YOUR STRENGTH AND MIGHT TO SURVIVE THIS. TENDO, AS THE WINNER OF THE MATCH, YOU SHALL BE IGNORED BY THE OPPONENTS FOR THE FIRST MINUTE. THIS WILL GIVE YOU THE ABILITY TO STRIKE AT THEM AND DO DAMAGE BEFORE THEY NOTICE YOU. ALL OF YOU HAVE DONE WELL, BUT ONLY ONE OF YOU DESTROYED SEVEN OF THE MACHINES AND NOT THE REST. VIDEL. YOU SHALL BE HELD BACK, BY BEING THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF ATTACKS FOR THE MINUTE. ANY CLOSE TO THESE BEINGS AS THEY ATTACK VIDEL SHALL BE ATTACKED, BUT VIDEL WILL BE THE MAIN TARGET. THE FIRST TO DEFEAT ANY OF THESE FOES SHALL BE REWARDED IN THE SIXTH AND FINAL CHALLENGE! LET THE BATTLE, BEGIN!”
The voice ended, and that was when it felt like the entire garden just exploded. Everything soared at Videl, as they were ready to tear her apart. Videl was not ready for a single pebble to come at her and seem to transform in the shape of what looked like an arrow, as it hit her in the thigh. Videl could handle anything in her life, from anyone. Not even nuclear missiles could harm her, really. But this one single pebble, charged by the energies of all of the gods, gave it more than enough power to hurt Videl and even cause her some bit of blood loss from just the wound. The garden was made up of many things. Made up of the power that these cosmics beings have. Even the smallest weakest things, a single leaf, is deadlier than an army of trained warriors wielding the greatest weapons of all. The only way to win, is to be on the level of every thing here.
One such being that Videl had to be ready for, was the very ground breaking apart as it headed right towards her. Before Videl knew it, what shot out was a vine, one thicker than her and wasn’t made of the regular vegetation of the land. It was instead harder than the very muscles of Videl. Videl tried to fly away as far as she could, as she aimed both hands to blast away the vine. If she had the ability to fly away, she might have stood a chance. Videl didn’t even see the very cloud above her open fire on her. Ice pellets came at her, at speeds so great that the light barrier was even warped by the sheer speed behind the ice. Each bullet crashed against Videl, and made her scream out in agony. They were too hard and fast, and the vine was getting closer. Videl could even see the thorns on them, and was ready for pain.
“LIKE HFIL I’LL LET YOU TAKE HER!”
Marron was away from the vine, but Videl recognized what was above her. An energy disk. The same kind her dad would use in battles against those who were a great threat. Videl had to admit, she was rather charmed by how Marron was still trying to save her, as Marron threw the disk as hard and as fast as she could.
“DESTRUCTO DISK!”
The disk was stronger than anything Krillin had every thrown in his life, and twice as fast. Despite that, it still shared the same weakness as the regular disk. How it could barely be controlled, and the vine was easily able to dodge away from the strike… until Sarah stomped hard on the base of the vine, and punched it as hard as she could.
“YOU WANNA BLEED ONE OF US, TAKE US ALL ON!?”
Videl knew why Marron was helping her, but Sarah? It didn’t make any sense, she had the perfect opportunity to sneak attack one of her foes who was harming her. A giant tree, designed to resemble more a club than a tree, swung right at Videl as hard as it could. The tree swing was more than powerful to take out Videl, as Videl knew she had to build up an energy blast to take it out. Before Videl even had to do it, Peach and Leona both struck the tree as hard as they could with a joint elbow and knee strike. Despite how powerful they struck, with enough power to destroy a moon, the tree was only sent flying and splintered at the strike, but not even broke in half! It was true, that this place was strong. Videl was watching the way the women were fighting to protect her, and she couldn’t even say a thing. The vine, while attacked by Sarah, was still able to get in close to Videl to slice her apart, when the tip of the vine was grabbed.
“I barely know you. Really. But I think every woman here agrees on the same thing. ‘I never knew I was this strong… and I never knew how alone it was to be this. I now met five other women as amazing as me. Sure, I want to win… but even more than win, I want to do it with ALL of us here, not just me.’ That’s what they’re thinking. Well… I won’t say if I do or not.”
Tendo, who was holding the tip of the vine and who’s hand was bleeding from holding it, let out a devilish smirk as she pulled the vine in as close as to her as hard as she could. With all of her might, she was trying to tear it off from the roots, but even with all of her might, it wasn’t working at all. Still, it did hold the thing still. Enough for the destructo disk to come and tear the vine in half in an instant, the juices from it exploding everywhere. It was enough to destroy the vine. But not even enough to kill it, as more vines exploded from the ground. Every woman saw the area around them swarm at them, from the clouds to the tornadoes to the grass to even sound itself, as the sound of the tornadoes formed into swords to stab at Marron.
Marron let out a shriek of pain, and Videl was enraged. With all of her might, Videl let out a mighty roar, and shocked out the sound waves away from Marron. It did some damage to Videl’s vocal cords, but it was more than enough to get rid of the problem of the sound attacks. Still, the grass itself was a problem. They became razor blades, trying to chop away at the feet and legs of the women. Peach kicked at the grass as hard as she could, and while she flattened a few blades, a million more headed at her and dug in hard into her leg. It was brutal, as leaves sliced at Leona, the clouds swarmed around Sarah and began to punch her out, and even Tendo was finally noticed by the clouds and was shot at. Every single one of the woman was attacked, and none of them knew what to do. It was impossible to solve the problem at all, even if all six of them combined. Their were too many threats assembled at them.
Videl saw how many of the threats existed… and knew what she had to do. Videl, even with her throat hoarse, screamed as loud as she could. Loud enough to crack the ground and stun everything around her. The only ones not stunned were the other women, as Videl spoke as quickly and softly as she could.
“I’ll… spirit bomb. It should drain all the energy… from area. Kill it… and than I’ll throw it… at clouds. Got… it?”
Peach, Tendo, and Leona had no idea what the hell a spirit bomb was. Marron and Sarah though, both pumped their fists and nodded.
“WE’LL PROTECT YOU, VIDEL!”
Leona didn’t need to be told twice, as she punched her chest and roared out.
“EVERYONE, PROTECT VIDEL! WE NEED TO TAKE OUT AS MANY OF THEM AS WE CAN WHILE PROTECTING HER! NO ONE IS GOING TO UNDERESTIMATE THESE PUNKS ANYMORE! CHARGE!”
The five women surrounded Videl, ready to protect her as they were both human shields, and human swords at the same time. Videl offered the softest words she had ever uttered since she first greeted Pan to the world. Thank you. Than, with all her might, Videl raised her arms, and began to feel the energy go into her. With that, every woman was on the attack as everything around them rose back. The first they all united against, was the tree that was coming back right for Videl. Every woman rushed right at the tree and with all of their might, kicked the tree as one unified force. The blow from their legs should have had enough power to destroy even the tree, and they did! The tree exploded into a million splinters, and for a brief moment, every woman had a grin on their faces.
Than, 5 trees came, exactly like the one they destroyed, and knocked each woman back. Just as Leona skidded on the ground and centered herself, she saw it wasn’t five trees they had to handle. It was closer to 25. The trees were too much for any one of these women to handle, but Leona was never the kind of woman to quit. Leona charged right out at the trees, and leaped off each and every single one. Delivering a powerful kick to every single one of the trees, the plan was to deal some real damage to them and make them all swarm on her. Dealing with any of them was hard, but all 25? Given their huge size, they’d more than crash into each other when trying to hunt her down. That was the plan, but like anything, things went wrong. Leona had attacked her fourth tree, when a branch slapped at her thigh with enough force to cause her leg to nearly swell. Leona bit back her tongue not to scream, as the leaves on the branch sliced at her.
Leona’s movement was slowed by it just as one log was about to destroy her, but Peach more than protected Leona by snapping the branch in half with a karate chop so powerful, it actually caused a sonic boom. Peach was able to splinter stone in half with her pinky, but that small thin branch almost made her hand shake when she struck it. This wasn’t going to be easy for either woman, as Marron herself had to attest as she and Sarah worked together to handle the storms that were coming at them. Marron charged up all of the Ki in her hand to punch right through the head of her own storm counterpart, and than supercharged her hand. The storm figure shook from what was going on, and in a flash, exploded. The shock of said explosion sent Marron back, and she hit the ground on her back. Marron tried to get up, before she saw who had come for her. The storm version of Tendo, Peach, and Leona. Marron had no time to defend herself, but one person did come to protect her.
Sarah, who was right in front of Marron and had both arms raised and her legs flexed as the storm tornado dopplegangers attacked Sarah. Blows to her arms and legs that made the heaviest sounding smashing of flesh that Marron ever heard, and a punch square in the jaw of Sarah. Sarah was in agony, but she didn’t show it one bit. If anything, she tried her best to smile and look impressive for Marron. Sarah was in awful pain but really, she could handle it all. Just to make sure that Marron knew she was there and handling every single problem. With all of Sarah’s might, she threw off her attackers but in doing so, had hit the ground as the cloud gun aimed right for her, and the grass headed for her. Marron and Tendo had that handled.
Marron rushed at the grass with her hands balled together, and charged up all of the energy in her, while Tendo made sure to spin her body as fast and as powerful as she could. Tendo felt the bullets of ice hitting her body, and while they were agonizing, she still roared as she shot past the cloud and dispersed it in an instant. Tendo thought she had done something big, till she saw the dozens of other clouds shaped like guns take aim at her. Marron herself incinirated a few feet of grass, when she had intended to take out a mile. The grass was a lot stronger than she thought, and they retaliated back by shooting blades right at her. Marron felt like her body was being cut up by it, as she was forced to back away. Nothing was going to be destroyed by any of these women. Not if, unless, Videl wasn’t there.
One of the blades of grass, just a single one among tens of millions, began to notice it was feeling drained. One of the clouds aiming right at Tendo in the shape of a grenade launcher felt a single milliliter of ice suddenly begin to melt. Even the trees themselves felt some of the leaves on their smallest branches were starting to harden. The garden was starting to become weaker, all because of the great spirit bomb that Videl was creating. The spirit bomb was growing in power as it was attracting everything around it. Absorbing the energy from the area around Videl, it grew in power from an orb the size of a tennis ball, to an orb the size of a beachball, in just a few seconds. Videl felt the strain of trying to absorb all the energy from the garden. It was resisting her, but it wasn’t immune to her.
As long as nothing broke her concentration, she could drain all of the energy and drop the spirit bomb right on the garden. It was taking up a lot of power and time as she did so, and Videl felt like she was being punched the whole time. Videl didnt give up one bit, as she instead focused on building up all of the power that she can. While all of that power was being built up, Videl could feel like all of her guts were about to explode as she knew something was going to come for her in her stage. Videl was more than right as she sensed the water dinosaur ready to strike at her.
The great Ankylosaur, who had marched into the are and swung its tail around to strike at Videl with enough force to break her spine, was just about to strike her down. The mighty aqua dinosaur was going to stomp her down hard and Sarah saw it swinging as hard as it could for her. Sarah rushed out at the dinosaur with all of her speed and knew she had to put in all of her energy with everything she had. Concentrating every bit of Ki in her hand, every single last drop from the bottom of her toes to the top of her hair, Sarah rushed out as fast as she could. Sarah punched the tail as hard as she could, just as the tail ahad swung as hard as it could.
The force behind both of their blows was enough to rock the very area around them, and Sarah felt like her arm almost snapped in two just punching the tail. The tail itself had exploded in force, and so did the rest of the dino. Sarah let out a grin, and than, felt something happening to her. Sarah had only a brief moment to realize what was going on, and she could barely scream no, before a flash hit her, and she was gone. The other five women saw what happened to Sarah, and knew this was a problem. If any of them took down one of the garden creatures before their time, than the rest of them would be gone. One major threat was gone, but so were one of the women they needed to win against the garden!
Leona and Peach both decided to get away from the logs, kicking away from the logs just to get right to Videl to protect her from any attacks that she didn’t see coming for her. The two were as fast as they could, striking harder than they ever had before as they made sure to attack anything that got to close. Whatever it was ice from the clouds, the very grass, various other vines that burst from the ground. The two women were striking faster and harder than they ever did, and the two of them began to heat up. Steam was nearly coming off of them as Peach grabbed Leona’s arms and held on tight as she spun Leona around like a top. Leona felt like she was spun around a few million times in just a few seconds, but she didn’t mind at all. Instead, Leona let it happen as she knew that Peach was going to throw her, and throw her as hard as she could. Leona was more than right as Peach let out a powerful roar, and threw Leona square into the largest thing she saw.
One of the clouds that was shaped like a missile, ready to explode right at Videl and take her out with an ice attack that could devestate whole solar systems. The missile felt Leona coming, and fired right at Leona. It had enough power behind it to destroy just about anyone it hit, and Leona knew she had to be ready for it. The bodyheat from Leona was more than enough to slightly melt the tip of the missile coming for her, given the fact that she was right now hotter than a blazing inferno in a forest. On impact with the missile, steam exploded from the two interacting and the backlash from the steam was enough to envelop the entire garden. No one could see what was going on. But every woman there, especially Tendo, learned something important. How to destroy something without seeing anything. In one brief but powerful moment, every woman crushed, slammed, and destroyed what was in their way. It didn’t matter one bit to them, as Marron flattened the grass, Leona pulverized some clouds, Peach diced right through some trees, Tendo sliced a vine in half… and Videl was still charging up.
The orb above Videl was now the size of her, and was packing more than enough power to destroy ten worlds over. Videl was still making the orb grow as she absorbed more power, and she felt her entire body tremble. Videl was bringing in more power in her body, and Videl was covered in sweat as she was pouring in some of her own energy. The beautiful garden was starting to turn black, and Videl felt the very area around her tremble. The larger the orb grew, the more drained the area around her had become, and finally, Videl was pouring in so much energy from her absorption of everything that she felt like the whole world was trembling. Above her, was an orb the size of a small moon, all gathered by Videl pouring in everything she had. Videl held the orb above, and looked down the area below her.
The grass, trees, storms, and clouds knew what was coming, and the vines fired at her with every single force they had to kill her. Videl only had enough energy to yell one thing to all of the women below her.
“EVERYONE, GET OUT OF THE GARDEN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!”
Videl was ready to throw the orb down to the ground at full force, as the vine was closing in on her. No matter how fast Videl would throw down the vine, she knew the vine would attack her first. Videl still hoped she had enough strength to throw down the orb… when every woman was at the vine in a flash, kicking and chopping at it as hard as they could. The vine exploded, as the women were covered in wounds and scars from the fight below. Videl couldn’t believe it, as Marron winked at her, Peach smiled, Tendo smirked, and Leona pumped her fist. They trusted Videl, and even more, trusted each other, as they connected feet to the others. In one burst, the women leaped off where they touched feet and left the garden as far as they could. With no worry of the women below, Videl roared out and threw the Spirit Bomb as hard as she could at the garden.
Videl saw the grass, trees, vines, clouds, and storms try to stop the spirit bomb. But none of them could stop it, as the clouds failed to slow it down with ice bullets, the leaves from the trees didn’t cut it apart and when a tree slammed into the orb, the tree was erased! The grass tried to flee as vines attacked the orb, vines breaking apart from the sheer force of the orb coming at them. The storm copies leaped up to grab the orb and stop them moving… but instead they were eradicated on impact. Videl felt she was leaving, and broke into a smirk. The orb was everything she had, but at the same time, she was certain of one thing. If that was Sarah, Marron, Tendo, Peach, and Leona down there… they could have caught the spirit bomb and thrown it back.
Videl left the area as the spirit bomb hit the ground, and impacted with enough force it blinked out everything in the garden. The clouds burst apart, the grass was incinirated, the trees exploded, and the vines melted into goo. The garden imploded and exploded at the same time, earthquakes forming and hurricanes forming, as the other women felt like they were flashed away. They destroyed the most perfect garden in the world, and maybe they should have felt bad about that. Really, all they could feel was how awesome it was they did it. The six women were gathered in a circle, all in a weird zone. They were all tired, and none of them wanted to stand. Videl almost toppled over, feeling like all the gas in her tank was gone when Sarah caught her.
Sarah had no idea what the women had did, and she was a bit ashamed about it. Sarah wanted to be there for the rest of the women, but none of them were even mad. Marron saw Sarah holding Videl, and gave Sarah a warm smile. Marron was certain of what Sarah was thinking and made sure to calm her down with her voice.
“You saved us, when you prevented Videl from being attacked. Their was no way Videl could have handled an attack that looked that bad had it hit her. Sarah, you’re the reason we won.”
Sarah wanted to believe that Marron was right, but right now, she was wondering how any of them could complete the next challenge with how injured they were. Tendo and Peach were the least injured and even they were covered in scratches and bruises, Peach even favoring her right leg over her left. Peach herself was looking around, as they seemed to be on a long glass pane, in the starry sky. It was dark, the light being stars, as they seemed to be above a nebula as their floating glass floor was miles above the swirling nebula. It was as haunting as it was beautiful. At the same time, it didn’t make much sense to be here. None of the women even destroyed any of the guardians at the garden.
Than again, not like their was even any other Guardian left, after Videl let off the powerful blast. Every woman got a look at Videl, and saw how exhausted the woman was. Had she not been so fit before the battle and used up everything she had to make the spirit bomb energy collect faster, she would have failed, and they would have all been defeated. Videl was the reason all of them got ahead. But now, she was too injured and tired to continue on with the fight. Marron bent down near Videl, and she looked at Sarah. For the past while, Marron had noticed that like Videl and herself, Sarah had Ki powers. How, she didn’t know, but the origin didn’t care. The question was, how good were these powers.
“Sarah… can you tell me… can you give some of your Ki to Videl? Not all of it… just equal what I give her.”
Sarah was surprised by what Marron had said. On the one hand, given Videl all of this energy did sound like the right thing to do. But who knew what the next challenge was. Sarah almost hesitated… but seeing how weak Videl was, that Videl couldn’t even raise her arm, made Sarah feel an intense fire inside of her. Videl needed them, and so, Sarah hugged Videl as hard as she could while pouring in all of her Ki inside of Videl. Marron touched Videl’s shoulder, and began to give some of her Ki that she could to Videl. Videl’s wounds all across her body begin to clear up. Cuts on her body begin to heal up, and Videl’s weak breathing that could barely move her chest was now full breathes again. Sarah and Marron were exhausted, as if they were utterly drained by what they had done, but now they could see Videl was able to get up.
Videl didn’t even know what to say, but she did know what to do. She hugged both Marron and Sarah as tightly as she could, while the other three women watched with amusement. For the six women, it was good that they all have reached this exact spot and time. It meant that they were all ready for the final challenge. A challenge that came to them… when a single drop of what looked like star matter hit the glass they were on. The droplet was so small they almost didn’t notice it, and it made no sound when it hit the glass. They might have forgotten it existed… until the drop began to speak to them.
“I DID NOT EXPECT ALL OF YOU TO MEET ME. WHEN I DID THIS… ONLY I HAD PASSED THE GARDEN. THE ONE BEFORE ME THOUGHT THAT IT MEANT THAT I WAS STRONG. THE FACT THAT ALL SIX OF YOU PASSED MUST BE ATTESTED TO ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY. THAT ALL OF YOU ARE AMAZING WOMEN WHO CAN WORK TOGETHER. WELL, NOW YOU FACE WHAT MUST BE THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE… AND ONE ONLY ONE OF YOU CAN WIN. THE CONTEST IS SIMPLE. YOU MUST TOUCH ME. PERIOD. WHEN I CONTACT YOU, IT DOES NOT COUNT, BUT ANY ON ME, FROM YOUR HANDS TO EVEN YOUR KI OR HAIR, DOES. SARAH, BECAUSE YOU PASSED FIRST… YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO MOVE. TOUCH ME… AND YOU WILL BE GRANTED THE TITLE OF STRONGEST IN ALL OF EXISTENCE.”
From the drop that had hit the ground, formed a woman who rose in the sky. Light flashed and then, there she was floating. A massive muscular woman with green eyes, long flowing red hair, and muscles that were endless. Dressed in a blue skintight suit, the woman just looked… perfect. She also looked amazingly strong. The woman eyed each and every single woman, and gave a coy smile as she was impressed by each and every single one of them. Than, she brought out the universal symbol of bring it with her hands.
“LET US SEE IF YOU CAN MATCH THE MIGHT… OF DOMINA, THE STRONGEST WOMAN TO EVER EXIST.”
The power radiating off her was unlike anything that the women had felt. Not from each other or the garden. None of them had any belief that she would be an easy fight. Even at their best, they would be damn tired to fight her. Yet not a single one of the women backed away. They had all each others backs, and had their fists up. The six women were united as one. No woman could deny they were partners after all working together to get Videl to use the spirit bomb. Videl cracked her neck, and was the first to speak.
“I never met any woman like any of you. Super strong ones, but none I could fully trust everything I had. My only hope is Pan becomes just as amazing as any of you.”
Marron giggled, and built up all the Ki in her.
“I’m hoping that one day, my Videl will reveal she’s just as strong and as awesome as you. Hell, I hope I meet friends just like all of you.”
Leona flexed her body, ready to strike with enough force and authority to take down even the strongest god of all.
“I’m a fighter, and even I never ever been in a fight half as big as this. I’m the happiest woman in the world being here. Most I can say is… don’t let up.”
Peach got her dress ready and struck a karate pose, more than ready to take down who was considered the strongest… until she came around.
“Let’s show her why we’re the best women of our universes, and than tell the rest of the women in our universe how far they can go. We’re going to give it our all, and maybe even more than that!”
Tendo just stretched, making sure her legs were limber as she looked all over Domina, and craned her head.
“Gotta say, she may be the biggest woman I ever seen in my life. But if she thinks that makes us scared of her, than she’s got another thing coming for her. I only found out how strong I really was, cause of these games, and I know we only got stronger from it all.”
Sarah herself felt pumped, all of her blood and brain screaming at her to just run. Everything was telling her, even the hair on her body, that Domina was not a woman to be underestimated. Still, Sarah still felt the lust inside of her. To just… run, and hit Domina as hard as she could. To really test WHO was stronger between the two of them. With that, Sarah roared out her next words for everyone to hear, courage filling every part of her as she roared.
“LET’S SHOW THIS DOMINA WHY SHE SHOULD NEVER HAVE FOUGHT ANY OF US!”
With that, Sarah rushed out as fast as she could, flying right at Domina like a jet! Sarah not only moved as fast as she could, thanks to using all of her muscles as she flew right at Domina, she also knew to apply in as much Ki as she could! Glowing with power, Sarah was right upon the floating Domina, who wasn’t even moving an inch, and Sarah knew she had her. With a flying reverse roundhouse kick, Sarah intended to hit Domina with the fastest kick in all of her life. It really was, as Sarah threw it, the fastest kick in her whole life. Domina didn’t even move from her spot, just let her hair do the job. Domina’s hair was expertly controlled by Domina, and moved like a snake, wrapping itself around the ankle of Sarah. With almost no effort on her part, Domina’s hair twisted Sarah around like a top and spun her, treating Sarah as a toy. Sarah had no idea what happened, given how fast it was, but she was prepared for something like this.
Collecting all the Ki in her core, Sarah exploded it all out in a powerful burst with the intent to take down Domina in one hit. Being so close, their was no way Domina could dodge a point blank blast. Sarah thought that the blast could have taken down Domina. That it would at the very least, touch her. Sarah saw to her horror, that Domina was no longer there. In fact, Domina was nowhere Sarah could see. That was because Domina wasn’t anywhere close to Sarah. Leona and Peach did feel something on them, and looked to their horror at what the heavy feeling on their shoulders was. Domina, laying both of her massive arms on their shoulders as she sighed.
“Ahh, the folly of youth. Every kid thinks they got the magic secret to take me, but when you see the trick once, you seen it a billion times.”
Leona and Peach responded as quickly as they could, with punches aimed right at the jaw of Domina. Domina just pulled her head back and lifted her large body, kicking square in the chest Tendo and Videl who charged right at her from the sides. With her arms, Domina slammed Leona and Peach’s heads into each other, nearly knocking both of them out as Domina than tossed them right at Marron. Marron dodged the two thrown women as fast as she could, only to find both of her feet were off the ground. In front of her, was Domina, who just sweeped Marron off her feet with one foot. Domina smirked in delight, as she than lifted her arms and with a powerful strike, slammed Marron down to the ground as hard as she could. The glass floor they had did not crack, but Marron felt like she had just been cracked by what had happened. Domina crossed her arms, and blew her hair up, as Sarah watched all of that happen.
Well, watch is the wrong word. More than Sarah had seen a massive blur where everyone was standing in place, and in an instance, all of them were on the ground as Domina stood. Domina was untouched and nothing suggested she had any difficulty slamming around the six strongest women to exist at this moment. Domina’s stance and attitude suggested she wasn’t even pretending to consider them as threats. Sarah was a bit mad about it. So mad about it, she pulled back, and felt the Ki in her body build up. Sarah poured everything she had left in her, even more than the explosive effort before. Sarah didn’t care she had no energy left after using this attack, it would be more than enough to put Domina in her place. With a powerful roar, Sarah pulled her arms back as far as she could, formed a large powerful orb around it that was rainbow in color, and she screamed so loud she could shatter eardrums as she fired the most powerful beam attack she ever threw in her life.
Domina saw the great beam attack come at her, that was wider than the floor she was on and too tall to jump over. Domina merely lifted a single pinky, and shot a beam herself. The tiny beam, more like a laser pointer than a beam, collided with Sarah’s own Ki attack… and snuffed it out. The small laser attack cancelled out Sarah’s attack as it than hit the forehead of Sarah, dropping her to the ground with a bad welt on her forehead. Domina clapped her hands together, and looked at all of the six women on the ground and in agony from what Domina had done to them.
“I AM DONE WITH MY WARMUP, I HOPE YOU SIX ARE AS WELL, SO WE CAN BEGIN OUR FIGHT.”
Was she only saying that to piss off all of the women there? No doubt. Did it work? Even less doubt than none, because all of them put in all of their strength and effort to rise. Peach was one of the first, moving her arms up to begin to strike against Domina. Domina didn’t even look or face Peach, who was right behind her, when Domina struck. Domina didn’t even seem to move as Peach was struck 350 times in an instant, and hit the ground once again. Tendo rose, having seen how bad Peach looked when she got up. Tendo thought if she moved just fast enough, she could dodge a strike from Domina. Tendo took half of a step to the right when her face landed on the fist of Domina. Than Domina’s other fist landed on Tendo’s face, and her first fist again on Tendo’s face before Tendo got the message in her brain to register pain.
Tendo folded as fast and as hard as a human body could, but this time, one of them was able to move and attempt to strike down Domina. Videl was still hurt, but she tried a low sweep kick. It was Videl’s hope that by striking so low, that Domina would not see it. Videl even made sure that if she were to leap over it, than with five of her fingers aimed up and at different spots, she fired five wide beams in five different directions using her finger muscles. All in the hope they would hit Domina and take her down in an instant. Domina indeed, jumped over the sweep kick. The problem was, she also shot up faster and farther than any of Videl’s beams could ever hit Domina. Domina was far up in the air, looking down at all five women below her. Domina almost wanted to laugh at how silly this was. Did she really think that Domina didn’t feel her above her, even when she turned off her Ki and stopped breathing?
Domina could feel Marron’s bodyheat from half a lightyear away, as Domina lifted her arm up to catch Marron’s fist, and throw her down as hard as she could. Marron was sent hurtling right to the glass, ready to crash into it like a meteor, when Sarah flew up and caught Marron. It almost felt like she broke her arms catching her, but Sarah held on Marron tightly. The two women were holding each other tight, as they united in a Ki attack as they flew right at Domina, intending to be a human missile. Domina chuckled, and just punched the air below her with enough might to make her arm flex. Said punch had enough power to send pressure hurtling at the women, and break their attack with ease. It than forced them down, as the two women had no way to defend themselves, until they slammed face first into the glass.
The floating Domina roared with laughter, having more fun here than she had in billions of years. Despite how easy Domina was making this all look, Domina was using all of her might against the women. All of them were amazing. How else would she describe Leona, if Leona saw how easily Domina had taken down every woman and leaped at her, intending to take her down with one blow. Easily, Domina scoffed. Domina never seen any person move as fast or as gracefully as these women. The energy they produced could power entire universes. Domina was in sheer and utter awe at how powerful and strong the women were. Powerful in the fact that their bodies were absolutely mighty. Strong in the fact that despite all the opposition they face and how well Domina is playing at being vastly superior, they’re still able to fight back and harder than Domina could imagine.
To Leona, it looked like Domina was slapping away her punches and kicks like she was against a child, and her smirk only made Leona feel weaker. In reality, it took all of Domina’s speed and reflexes to catch up against Leona, and with all of her might, stop Leona from retaliating by delivering powerful blows against Leona. Leona was actually pushing Domina back, but it was with Domina’s power that she made it seem she wasn’t moved or impressed at all, lifting her arm as far as she could and slam down the head of Leona with her elbow. Even then, she was impressed as she had defeated Leona. Even striking the woman with all of her might, Leona was still able to twitch as she hit the ground. Defeating all six of these women seemed as easy as pie for her. In reality, Domina was exhausted after just a single MINUTE of fighting them. But showing them how tired she was wasnt’t what the women wanted.
The women wanted to fight the strongest and defeat her. Show her that she wasn’t nearly as tough as she acted, and they were more than right. Even if they had no idea how right. So, Domina put her foot forward, and raised both arms, and gave the women a coy smile. Get all six riled up, as they rose once again, and Domina could feel their eyes staring daggers at her. It was intimidating, how much they wanted to fight her. But the spirit they all had, was amazing! Domina almost wanted to cry, when all six rushed at her in unison and struck at her, cry because of how amazing it was. Finally, she had to try. Finally, she had to put in all of her strength to win. No longer would Domina just coast on victory, but instead, she had to work for it, and Domina more than worked for it when she shoulder checked Leona as hard as she ever had. Grabbing the arm of the near flying Leona, Domina used the warrior woman as a warrior club against the other women.
Leona was a human club for Domina, and at that very moment, it was the most powerful woman in existence using the most powerful weapon in existence. The five women did their best to duck, dodge, and get out of the way of the assault. Peach saw Leona suffering, and just felt compelled to help someone who, while maybe not a friend, was an ally that she had nothing but respect for. Peach charged right in, and with grace and speed, didn’t once focus on Domina. That may have been the wrong move to make in that situation. Despite how obvious it would seem to attack Domina then and there, the woman was still self protected. No, the idea would be to attack… Leona, of all people! Not hard, Peach made sure with three fingers, to strike right at the thigh of Leona that Domina was holding on to. Domina saw the hand coming, and was ready to counter attack Peach before she got close, but than saw the fingers coming for the thigh and didn’t bother. Why waste a picosecond of effort when she could attack Peach then and there directly?
Domina threw a punch at Peach, when Peach hit Leona’s thigh. Leona felt the strike against her thigh, and in one moment, flexed on immediate reflex. Domina felt the flex, and it actually made such an impact on Domina that she let go of Leona. Leona felt her leg was paralyzed by the strike, but by being let go and awoken by the attack, she threw a kick with her uninjured leg right at Domina. Domina ducked under the kick, but saw Sarah and Videl leap over her, hands stretched out and pointing right at her. The energy forming in front of said hands told Domina everything she needed to know. They had planned this all with Peach, to lead her into the attack. Domina forged a shield around her with her Ki, and than pushed it forward before the women could blast her. The two women were thrown off, but than did something interesting.
It almost seemed like they did a backflip as they made sure to manuever just right, and Domina was almost glued to watching them do that. Domina, though, had expert control over her body, and felt someone move behind her just based on her hair feeling warmth behind her. Domina turned around and threw out a kick, that was blocked by Tendo. Tendo had both arms up and while she was pushed back, Tendo let out a mighty roar as she pushed Domina’s leg out as far and as hard as she could. The sheer might involved took a lot out of Tendo, but with a mighty effort, she pushed Domina’s leg away from her and Domina was almost moved back by the attack. Domina though, was ready for any kind of attack. Even when Peach and Leona tried to attack her from behind, both high and low, Domina was ready. Domina was even ready for Videl and Sarah sprinting as far away as they both could to fire off dozens of blasts. The intent was to attack her close, and attack her from far away. Leave Domina no place.
Peach and Leona were ready for any close attack, and Tendo made sure to move Domina where she wanted. Tendo threw in a fast high kick to the neck of Domina, not really trying to hit her. None of the women planned to really attack her. All they wanted… was to make Domina move, and Domina moved exactly as much as they wanted. Peach attacked left, Domina moved right. Tendo attacked right, Domina leaped to dodge the attack. Leona attacked from above, Domina ducked, and saw energy blasts coming for her. Despite Domina’s massive size, she was able to gracefully dodge the energy blasts with acrobatics that would put to shame just about anyone watching. It was an incredible sight, but it was what every woman wanted her to do. All of them were unified in one goal. None of them had to say a word, but through the entire fight, they had been communicating with each other via facial tics.
Making sure each of them moved in the way they wanted, and to not trip up each other. They were coordinating perfectly, because they all recognized what Domina was. Unstoppable, in her own way. Fighting her on her own level was near impossible, so uniting against her and getting her off her toes was the only move they could use. Peach moved her left eyebrow just a millimeter high, and this made Tendo realize she had to do a flying kick. Tendo moved her lips slightly downard, and Videl who was watching her fired off a powerful and wide beam blast. Domiona moved past any of the attacks, dodging and moving as fast as she could. Everything Domina was doing, was at the move of the women. All, for one of them.
The only one who had never won a single one of these matches. Videl, Peach, Leona, Tendo, and Sarah had all won. Maybe one of them could have won if they really tried and operated, but at the rate they all went, they wanted to finally give her a chance to win. The one who deserved to win, thanks to everything she did. Videl fired a beam right at the left foot of Domina, which made Domina take two steps back to dodge the blast. With a bright smile on Videl’s face, Videl said a thousand words with that one smile. But, to make it shorter, Videl said… go get her, Marron. Marron finally saw the sign, having been all the way at the edge of the floor. With Domina moved right where Marron had to be, Marron ran as fast as she could, pulsating with Ki energy the whole while. Marron rushed at Domina as fast as she could, and with so much power she was more like a freight train than a woman.
Marron could feel the ten most important eyes in a long time staring at her. Marron thought of her family, everyone in her universe, and those right now who depended on her. Marron even thought of herself, as she pushed in all of her might and felt all of her muscles scream at her. Marron let out a mighty womanly roar, and than at full power, leaped right at Domina as fast as she could. Breaking the very light barrier, Marron had a split second to hit Domina. Domina saw how close Marron was, and moved. Domina ducked underneath Marron’s leap, and Marron twisted her body as best as she could. Twisting and spinning and making sure her leg moved, and in that moment, just a brief one, using all of her Ki and muscle, Marron had surpassed Domina in speed. Just enough so when she spun just right and fast enough, her big toe slightly scraped the top of Domina’s head. Marron fell over and crashed on the ground, and Domina stopped moving.
All of the women, sans Marron, had seen what happened. Marron TOUCHED Domina. Videl almost wanted to cry in joy, as Leona and Peach high fived each other. Sarah hit the ground on her knees, too tired to cheer even though that’s all she wanted to do. Only Tendo got to Marron, helping the poor girl up, and gave Marron a sincere smile and a thumbs up, to let Marron know what she did.
“Good job girl, you barely tapped the head of a woman who was the size of a brickhouse after all five of us distracted her and pushed her to move her there. Good job… only you could have done that. Always remember that. Only YOU!”
Marron knew what Tendo really meant by that, and was smiling ear to ear. Any sound any of the women were making were drowned out by the hand of someone clapping. The claps were hard and fast, and the source of the clapping was Domina. Domina was smiling brighter than any of the women there, her teeth almost shining. The women didn’t know what to expect from Domina, but she more than seemed happy at what had happened. Domina almost seemed to wipe a tear out of her eye as she finished her clapping, and looked at all six of the women with pride. All of the women looked at each other, not even sure what to say or do. Marron herself scratched her head, a bit confused on why Domina was so happy, and was also unsure of what to even say. Marron took in a deep breath, calmed herself, and thought of everything she had done since she was brought into the contest. Made to fight against the planet, a star, the women here, giant machines, an evil garden, and the strongest woman ever. All crazy ideas that would drive anyone insane.
Which is why it was odd Marron said this with a smile beaming.
“WE SHOULD DO THIS AGAIN!”
Domina wasn’t even surprised when she heard that. Domina broke into a bit of a giggle, and shrugged her shoulders.
“When I invited all six of you here, I wondered which one of you would be the one to take my place. But time after time, I seen all of you pass your challenges and at the very end, help each other when you saw one of you could not have passed. Any of you could have beaten me here and now, touching me and granting yourself the title of strongest. Instead, you all worked together and did what I never could have with my group. Become stronger united, than become divided and weaker for it. I appreciate what you have all done… and I do wish to do this again. Still, one of you must take my title, and given what has happened… I think it is Marron, who shall take my title for strongest. Marron… rise up, and ascend to what you were always meant to be. The single greatest strongest being who has ever lived.”
Marron heard every word from Domina, and made a face that Domina never expected to see. A face of confusion and annoyance.
“I mean… you just said it yourself, I never could have done what I did without any of these women. I never could have gone as far as I have without some of the most amazing women I ever met, outside of some very close ones. Videl is as amazing as my Videl and like, a 100,000x stronger! Sarah is a huge fan of us, but just as amazing as us and better in many regards. Peach is elegance incarnate, but more powerful than the sun itself. Leona is maybe tougher than anyone who ever lived, even you. Tendo herself… she may seem like she’s rough and mean, but I depended on her a lot at the end and she was the one to create the Tic system. Like… like she learned she needed us, just as much as we needed her. I learned, despite being the strongest… maybe we were all too small. Maybe the idea, Domina… is you were lonely, and wanted to see if their were others like you? I mean… did we really find the strongest woman ever? You had no idea all six of us would get this far ahead. What other women exist out there who are amazing and are the strongest of their universe?”
Marron’s confidence in what she said took Domina back. The other women backed up with Marron, right beside her, and all having the same confidence they weren’t alone. Domina didn’t even know what to think, for the first time in all of her existence… she was speechless. After a while, Domina took a deep breath that calmed her down, clapped her hands… and had the same confidence of the women looking at her.
“WE HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. WE ALWAYS PICKED THE RIGHT CHOICE, AND ONE HAS ALWAYS WON. BUT SIX OF YOU HAVE WON… AND I ADMIT, I UNDERESTIMATED YOU ALL. I CAN ONLY THINK OF ONE THING. YOU ARE RIGHT. THEIR MUST BE OTHER WOMEN JUST AS POWERFUL AS YOU. HOWEVER, IT IS TRUE THAT YOU HAVE DONE WHAT NO ONE HAS DONE BEFORE, THUS… WILL YOU TAKE MY TITLE AS STRONGEST? IN OUR SEARCH FOR OTHERS, WILL YOU HELP US LOOK FOR OTHERS AS THE NEW GREATEST?”
Marron was taken back by it, and saw how the other women looked. All of them looked happy and accepting, and Marron knew they were fine with it. EVen more… Marron was fine with it. Marron took in a deep breath… and stepped forward, taking Domina’s hand. With that, a surge broke out between them. An energy glow left Domina, and entered into Marron. Marron began to rise, and her hair flowed as Marron was covered in a mighty glow. At that very moment, Marron was increasing in mighty power and everything changed as a mighty flash occurred. At that moment, when the light faded away… Marron had been changed, now… now she was the mightiest being of all. The new one among the infinite multiverse, and so when she spoke, spoke with absolute authority that no being could ever deny.
“I AM NOW THE STRONGEST BEING OF ALL. I CAN SEE EVERYTHING, I CAN DO ANYTHING, AND MASTER WHATEVER I WANT. BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I DO NOT WANT TO QUIT TRYING TO FIND MORE LIKE US. I WANT TO FIND AND BEFRIEND AND FIGHT THE STRONGEST WOMEN OF ALL OR FIND THE ONE WHO COULD EVEN PERHAPS, SURPASS ME! THAT IS ALL I CAN THINK OF RIGHT NOW, AND THEIR ARE ENDLESS UNIVERSES TO SEARCH… A FEW THAT CURRENTLY ARE PIQUING MY INTEREST AS I WATCH THOSE LIKE US PREFORM SUPERHUMAN FEATS, AND I BELIEVE WILL ENTICE YOU ALL. WILL YOU JOIN WITH ME IN FINDING THESE WOMEN?”
Marron put her glowing hand out, in a gesture of acceptance. The six women gladly put their hands together, all excited and into the idea as they rested their hands on top of Domina. Videl, Tendo, Peach, Leona, Sarah, and Domina all lifted their hands with Marron in unison to symbolize what the seven women would do now. Find out if they were the strongest… or meet the real strongest, in all of existence!
