The loudest sound in the universe just happened 7 seconds ago. The previous loudest sound in the universe was a concept called the Big Bang. That caused quite a big stir in the universe for a few billion years. While that sound caused everything to be born and still echoed across the universe in some places farther than the eyes of the farthest star from the center of the universe could see… this new sound was bigger. This new sound would echo eons after this universe was gone, and would still ring in the ears of all those in the next universe. It was a sound that would never be forgotten… for 2 seconds. Because the next sound was TWICE as loud, and for a brief moment, threatened to silence everything in all of eternity forever. For what sound could be made after it just surpassed a sound louder than the Big Bang? When it was replaced by something that sounded like laughter. Laughter from a woman obviously enjoying herself, as she made the sound again. What IS the source of said sound that will forever be known as ‘The biggest bang’? The sound of her fist smashing into the face of Nebulikos. Nebulikos was a living galaxy, and when one says living galaxy, they mean a living galaxy. Roughly twice the size of the Milky Way, it is made up of dark matter and star cores everywhere inside of it to give it consistency, the largest and most powerful being in its galaxy. Not a single being in the universe was a 100,000th the size of its smallest pinky on one of its 28 arms, and no being could reach 100,000,000,000th of its power. Nebulikos, being a living galaxy, required an immense power source to keep itself alive. That was the power of several stars inside of it, and the blackholes formed by the stars that died from its old age.
Nebulikos was about 9 billion years old, and in all of its life, it has never been punched before. The first time being punched, it turned out that poor Nebulikos, who could rearrange entire galaxies around it to be what it wanted and destroy solar systems just by floating near them, and caused anti-matter explosions with just its mind… had a glass jaw. Nebulikos, who had never been harmed in all of its existence, because what could harm a living galaxy of its size, did something that most physics experts would call impossible. It fell down and hit the ground. It was the only way to describe how it appeared, as the living galaxy was knocked out in one blow, with the first sound being the punch that knocked it out… and the second being the punch hitting the palm of the attacker.
The attacker of said living galaxy rolled her eyes, but still laughed a bit. It was kinda fun what had happened, and it was even more fun seeing how big the guy was up close. But as her mom used to say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Well, Kiera had to say, that was the BIGGEST guy she ever made fall. Kiera made a lot of big guys fall, but none who were as big as Galaxy loser or whatever his name was. Regardless of who he was, she had to get her prize from him. How else would she prove to people that she just beat up a living galaxy? Kiera bent down, took a chunk of galactic matter, and put it into her purse belt. With a wink and a blow of a kiss, she touched her watch and was out of there. No one would ever know she was there, except for three people. Herself, the living galaxy she had punched out… and the person who caused all of this.
It wasn’t going to plan. Kiera was never meant to win that fight. Or the fight before that. Hell, winning a fight against the multiversal king of sharks was as confusing as those very words sounded. Whatever the reason, the woman was just… WINNING! Over and over, she was winning fights that were just… IMPOSSIBLE to win! All of this was set up to finally stop her, and none of it has been working. If anything, it had actually been worse if they didn’t even try this. Kiera is learning how powerful she truly is… and it’s all their fault. All when they tried to trick Kiera.
-One day ago-
“WHO’S READY FOR THE ULTIMATE MEGA SMACKDOWN OF THE DAY!”
The whole crowd nearly exploded in how amazing the show was. Everyone was loving every single moment of this wrestling match. Well, all except one. The person that Kiera was about to bodyslam. The poor victim was the world heavyweight wrestling champ, but right about now, that was doing nothing for him as he laid on his back, near broken, and begging for mercy. Kiera was too busy taking in the glow to hear, so she leaped into the air as she stood on the ropes, performed a few backflips, and then slammed her knee right on to the ground. The poor muscle giant was nearly squashed as the entire stadium exploded in a loud noise. No one said a word, because they could barely comprehend what had happened.
It was when the dust settled, they saw a broken champ embedded into the ground, a destroyed ring, and a standing proud Kiera, flexing her arms. Everyone was cheering, as Kiera was giving her best award winning smile. The only problem was… one small detail.
-
“I AM SO BORED! THAT WASN’T A FIGHT!”
“Oh please, I got you a chance to wrestle against the number one ranked wrestler in the world, Tony ‘The Unstoppable’ Wilcoms, and you won so quickly in a fight meant to last a whole hour! How was that not a fight?”
“Oh, I’ll tell you how that wasn’t a fight! Dude folded in seconds, I had to make it last at LEAST 20 minutes! I thought the best of the best would put up more of a fight than a baby deer… but nope! Boring, just as all the others! It’s just so… no, TOO easy to win!”
“I’m sorry you have that problem. But you can enjoy your MASSIVE check and the love of millions, while I try to get you another show.”
Kiera wanted to scream as her manager left the room. The guy didn’t understand it. None of them did, not really. Kiera didn’t go into wrestling to win, she got into it to FIGHT and meet the best of the best. Instead, what had she found when she started training and wrestling? That everyone around her was just some weak ass loser. Kiera would just win, and win, and win, and NEVER stop winning. It wasn’t even like Kiera was trying… She coulda beat Wilcoms with both hands tied behind her back, and not even move from her spot. The only reason the entire stadium wasn’t a crater was because of how much she was holding back!
It was just no fun, or challenge. All of this was just… as usual, pointless. Like nothing she had done as a wrestler mattered. That everything she had been doing was just to get her to this exact spot. Then, just when she had gotten to this perfect place… all ruined. Kiera sighed in disappointment, and wondered what was even the point of her being a wrestler. Sure, it is fun doing the moves. But no one could really make her go out. Not a single person in all of her life actually pushed her to use her muscles or skill or power. All of it was too boring for her to even consider using some of her real moves. With everything as boring as she feared, it was time to move on. Quit wrestling. Maybe do something challenging, like make a board game.
Never enough board games in life, I more than agree. But I think a woman like you requires something MORE than that.
Kiera had no idea where the voice had come from. Frankly, she didn’t care, as she was on her feet and fists raised in the air. Probably some sicko pervert who thought that he could try something with her after everything she had done. Well, if he thought he was going to have ‘fun’ with her, then he was going to find out how mean she could be OUTSIDE of the ring.
Oh, I would LOVE to see how strong you truly are. I simply doubt I would do so one one-on-one with the likes of you. Now, do not worry, I am not a voice; I am a force beyond this universe and many others. I simply wish to ask you a question. Do you believe that you are truly… strong?
Kiera didn’t know why she was even CONSIDERING the question being asked of her. The voice in her head sounded cold and robotic, not really alive, but at the same time, it sounded like it was a challenge. As if it already knew the answer. Like HELL she’d allow it to just… mock her in a smug tone that it was. Kiera was still on her toes, but she did decide to answer the voice.
“Yeah, I really do think I’m strong. What about it?”
Do you wish to prove yourself, then? Against those who would call themselves the truly strong, and whose names strike fear into the hearts of all those who even believe them to be myth and legend? To finally, in the first time of your life, test yourself beyond your current level and battle beings who would make your blood vessels scream? That you will, for the first time in your life… go beyond the limits you never knew you ever had?
Kiera really had to be crazy to consider… any of this. This had to be a prank put on her by someone in the league. They must be intimidated by her and everything that she has done. At the same time, it was hard to ignore everything that she was hearing. In a way, it would also be no problem for her to say yes to the process. Kiera mulled it over in her head. It’s probably nothing to say yes, and if it is true… then that means she might be in danger. But what is life without some danger? Kiera didn’t want to live her life thinking that, if this question was real, then she had ignored it. No, not ignore it… balked at it. Kiera punched her fists together, and EVERYONE in the building shook. They probably thought an earthquake had happened. No, something BIGGER than that was going on. Kiera flexed her neck and gave her best and most confident smile.
“Yeah, I’m more than ready. Bring them all on, I wanna test it out.”
Then you shall learn what the truly strong think… of someone like you. Understand, I gave you no warning… because you deserve none. You have no one to blame but yourself.
Kiera really had no time to prepare for what happened to her. In one moment, she was in her locker room, wondering if she should even stay a pro wrestler. At the next moment, everything around her seemed to have altered. As if she were no longer in her own universe. The air smelled different, and as she looked around, she didn’t know the sky was… purple. Or that there were five moons in the sky. Nothing was making sense here. The only way any of this could be happening right now is that Kiera drank some drugged water earlier. Then again, while Kiera didn’t take many drugs, most common sense told her that most drugs don’t make you feel like the wind is blowing on your face. No, as insane as it sounded, the only logical explanation is that Kiera was in another world.
But if you went with that insane idea, now comes the next question that needs to be answered. How? That one was much simpler to explain, even if she still had no idea how it worked. The voice in her head was doing this to her. It really was someone else's voice. Someone who wanted her here. Given how they acted, it WASN’T because they were a big fan of her. Probably someone who lost money betting on her to lose a match. That was how these guys tended to act, all big and scary and mysterious when really, it was money that they cared about. Kiera took in a deep breath of the air around her, and nearly gagged on it. Tasted like bleach, for some reason. Wonder why that was. Maybe it was cause the sun above her was white.
Never seen a white star before, but Kiera did read about it. They’re meant to be really hot and also smaller than a yellow star. So why did it look like the white star was bigger than her own sun? Especially given the fact that everything around Kiera felt like it was getting warmer and warmer. As Kiera felt the location around her heat up, Kiera also noticed the white star WAS getting closer. Like, dangerously closer. As if it was heading right towards her, like an asteroid heading right towards Earth. Or whatever the planet she was on was called. Just staring at the star heading towards her, she heard the voice in her head once again.
In this universe, in this reality, organisms don’t exist. Instead, it is stars who live, and stars battle each other. You are facing the champion of stars, and the greatest among their number. In its 4 billion years of existence, it has caused more stars to supernova than any other. Great, undefeated champions have fallen to the unstoppable force of this star. If you wish to retreat from the full power and fury of a burning star, then all you must say… is I surrender.
Kiera wanted to laugh. All of this was beyond insane. Fight a sentient star that considered itself a champion of other stars? Then fine, let it happen. Run away? Why even bother trying to run away and hide from this force?! No, there was only one champion in any universe, and Kiera was that champion! Kiera pressed down on her feet and flexed all of her thigh muscles. Power radiated from her as she felt the ground crumble under her. The atmosphere was starting to fry from the heat of the star that was coming in close, but Kiera wasn’t afraid at all. If anything, this was actually the most exciting moment of her life. Did she imagine a foe like this? Of course not. But at the same time, did she think this fight would be worthy of someone like her?
Hell yeah. THIS is what she wanted! Finally, a fight that she was certain she couldn’t win in an instant! This would be a fight that Kiera really had to focus on and consider! With the sight of the star coming in and closer to her, Kiera felt like all of the ground around her was ready to explode from the force she was pressing down. Kiera wasn’t trying to destroy most of the planet, but she was someone who was getting ready for something big. Something that would change the entire planet underneath her feet. Because if it thought the sun was a danger to its stability, it had no idea of what true power was.
True power, true danger, was a woman who felt like she was being tested. That this was the first time she could actually go all out. Not hold back at ALL! Kiera used all of the leg muscles to leap right off the planet, and with her leap, the entire planet shook from the force of the leap. In fact, the planet did more than leap. Much of the surface under her had exploded right out from her, as if hundreds of sticks of TNT had exploded right with her. The area exploded and shook just from her leap, as Kiera rocketed right at the star. The star was forcing impressive gravitational and nuclear force right at Kiera, both trying to fold her to nothing and atomize her at the same time. It was an amazing power, more than enough to have crushed several of the rival stars it has faced.
It, though, didn’t seem to be doing anything at all to Kiera. Kiera wasn’t being melted by the force of the stars rays, or even crushed to paste by the force of the star’s gravity. None of it was working on her. Not because the star was weak in any way, it was the champion among its species for a reason. Undefeated in both terms of raw power and skill. The problem wasn’t in the star at all. The problem was the foe. Not that a human being could defy a star this powerful, or frankly, any other star. The root of the problem came down to strength. The white star was stronger than other stars, and thus, easily won. But the star was up against a force it had never encountered before in its entire existence. It met a force… BEYOND what the star could even fathom. A force that could best be described as a true champion.
Kiera pulled her arm back, and flexed all of the muscles in her arm. With the same amount of force that she had used to kick herself off the planet, she swung her arm around as hard as she could and as fast as she could. Kiera felt like the whole universe around her exploded, as her fist barreled right into the atmosphere, and caused a shockwave. The force of her blow was immense, and caused a mass amount of pressure that the universe had never detected before. As the planet below her was still shaking from the force of her leap, nearly crumbling, it was a reminder of the difference between that and her punch. Kiera meant no harm to the planet at all. But this punch she was delivering, she was directing it at one spot. The star that she considered a foe.
Kiera hated holding back, and it was something she was stuck doing for most of her whole life. Always reminding herself, to be careful. To not break this, or break that. It wasn’t objects that she was afraid of breaking… it was everything around her, she had to be careful not to shatter. All her life, she had to warn herself not to destroy everything. To be gentle, to be soft, to be nice. Kiera always wanted to go out, it was why she loved wrestling so much. The moves, the acrobatics, the show, and the discipline to train and practice the same move 10,000 times so it went just right. But no matter how much she adored her favorite activity of all, never did Kiera ever feel like she could just go all out. Now though, facing this huge star, Kiera knew… she could go all out.
Better than go all out, Kiera could finally find out one big thing about her. Did she have a limit? Throwing the punch, Kiera was certain of one thing. How powerful she could really be, when she threw a punch with the INTENT to break something… or someone, rather than just throw a punch for show. The blow from just her arm firing off like a bullet was a sight no one could ever forget, if they actually could see what she had done. It would be rather hard, given the fact that her whole body moved faster than a tachyon. Faster than a blur of light, both her body and her arm, when Kiera threw her punch, there was POWER behind it. More than the star thought could exist, even in the wildest imagination of the star. It thought the greatest force in the universe was itself, and second, a black hole.
The force behind the punch was stronger than a black hole. It was stronger than a million supernovas. It was a punch that could never be forgotten, because the force behind it was enough to black out a star. The star tried its best to handle the force of the blow that hit the bare surface of its own nuclear fission reactive heat. It could handle gravitational blasts from other stars twice its size; it should be enough to stop the punch of a woman that was 1,000,000,000,000,000th its size. It tried to pull out every single thing that it could to defend itself. Put in more heat and fission, increase its own gravity, and shift itself away from her attack. Everything that the star champion could do to protect herself from an attack, the star did.
None of it worked. All of the defenses it pulled out worked as well as a screen door on a submarine. The star was CRUSHED by the force of her blow, and in that moment, did the only thing it could do when met with an irresistible force. It burst open and formed a supernova. The white star wasn’t just destroyed by the force of the blow. No, it practically evaporated from the sheer power behind said punch. The white star almost screamed as everything about it was destroyed, but Kiera didn’t hear a word made by the source. Instead, Kiera just smirked, and she saw something that looked really interesting. Snatching it as quickly as she could, Kiera got a good look at what was in her hand. Part of the core of the star, a small white marble-like object, smaller than a quarter.
Had anyone else tried to grab it, two things would have happened. Their hands would have been crushed by the sheer force of touching such a heavy object, and then their arms would have burst from the intense heat radiated by it. Instead, it was as heavy as a quarter to Kiera, and as warm as one left out in the sun for a few hours. Warmer than she expected, but nothing that would be a problem for her. Kiera had no reason to take the marble with her, but she did for one reason. A prize, for what she had done. Even though the fight ended in one punch, this wasn’t like any other punch she had thrown in her life. No, what she just did was special. Destroying the star required her to put in a lot of effort, and the effort she threw in felt earned. As if everything to this moment was worth it, just to fight that star. Still, it really was just one punch, and she hoped to find something more than just that.
You wish for something else? Fine, then we shall see if you can handle the next trial that I throw you into. Be warned, because every foe you face will only be stronger and stronger than the last… but I shouldn’t even warn you, you WON’T survive what comes next.
Kiera didn’t even have to say a word to show her acceptance. With a nod of her head, Kiera felt her whole body pushed away. Taking her across another universe once again. In just a few moments, Kiera was now somewhere different. Somewhere that, just like the planet from before, was a place that she never thought she would be on. Right now, Kiera was standing on a star. Not the same star that she had destroyed, that would be more than awkward, but it was melting her shoes to nothing. Great, the rest of her clothes would be melting soon enough, and just as she was wondering what was going on there, she saw something rather odd on this star.
A hut. The material looked to be something that looked like glass, reflecting the substance of the star around it. It was more than unique, as Kiera had to admit. Small place, but it looked like it was cozy enough. Kiera craned her head, wondering who could live there, when the voice was back to speaking.
Now, you will face a warrior who surpasses that of the stars themselves. One who uses them just for warmth for himself. A champion across the universe and even another, one who, like you, travels to battle those around him. They call him, in this universe, Urak. Urak is also known to be a power above anything that entire universities the size of planets could not comprehend. In this universe, and the universe he has traveled to, his name is their word for STRENGTH. Calling him unstoppable is like saying you breathe… it is just understood. Face his might, or beg for mercy.
Kiera gave her voice her opinion of his little attempt to scare her. A big middle finger. With that, the door opened, and Kiera didn’t know what to expect. When he described Uruk, he said he was super powerful, but not what he looked like. Or really, what kind of power he had. Boy, was it a surprise to see that Uruk… was shorter than Kiera. At least to her elbows. The little guy looked like, of all things… a black raisin with 3 legs that looked more like spider legs than anything else, a large eyeball in the front, and a small bushy mustache. He didn’t seem to have arms, as the raisin man looked around, and his mustache vibrated as his wrinkly little body vibrated with it.
“You are le foe le voice le warned me? Oh my, you look le foolish. Nothing le like a le worthy foe.”
Kiera heard his voice… and almost cringed. He made Alvin the Chipmunk sound butch! Everything about Uruk was hard for Kiera to even try to take seriously! As if he was going to start farting in a few seconds and call it music. Kiera broke into a snicker at the sight of Uruk… and Uruk was already offended. In his culture, a snicker was a slur. A rather hateful, hard, slur. It was understandable why Uruk was mad… but maybe less so his response. Faster than lightning, Uruk leaped off the ground and kicked Kiera square in the chest. Kiera felt the massive force against her chest and was pushed back, nearly being sent out of orbit by Uruk. Kiera put her fists up, ready for a beatdown, when she saw something strange happen. As if by magic, thousands of arms just appeared near Uruk. Each one is the size of a Mack truck. Uruk was many things, a psychic being one of them.
His race was the most powerful psychic in the universe, and he was at the top of the charts among his race. It is said that the average of his race could lift a boulder 1,000 times their size with the ease of lifting a baseball. For Uruk, he could lift planets and throw them out of orbit with even greater ease than that. Uruk was a master of psychic combat as well, and so, was never afraid to use it. His favorite was telekinesis, where he would create super-powerful arms that could shatter planets and use them against any foe in his path. Was it overkill to use it against a foe he had never seen before in his life, all because of a snicker? Yes, it was.
But Uruk was well known for his abrasive personality. Uruk was also known for being a being who not only enjoyed dominating his foe to an absurd degree, but the concept of even having mercy was a foreign belief to Uruk. Why hold back one bit when one can demonstrate his furious power? The giant arms, while fake to any matter, were more than real to Kiera’s body as blows rained upon her faster than Uruk’s own kick. In fact, thousands of punches landed on her body at twice the speed and ten times the power of the kick. This was not a mere attempt to break Kiera and end the fight here and now. All of these attacks were a declaration that her funeral would not even have a body. It was why every time she was struck, all Kiera could do… was smile.
Now THIS was a fight, and why shouldn’t she be happy about it?! Kiera wanted a fight that would really make her go out, and while Uruk looked like something out of a terrible ripoff of a fever dream Tim Burton would have, his power wasn’t in doubt. Kiera was going to use a lot more effort than she had when she fought the star. Before, that was just a punch. But Kiera was no boxer. No, Kiera was a pro wrestler! Kiera didn’t fight Uruk fist to fist; instead, she fought him with her strongest weapon. Kiera moved in with the punches coming at her and ducked around them. Moving faster than the thousand fists coming at her. Uruk could sense she was approaching, and he was more than confused. How could ANYTHING be faster than his fists? Especially with their sheer size and numbers? Fine then, asking that won’t save him. Locking her up will.
Uruk used his powers to form chains around the arms and legs of Kiera, and then applied enough force to them to cause the very star itself to shake. The weights attached to those non-existent chains were warping the very star itself, JUST from the sheer weight of them. If anything, the weight itself should have had a gravitational hold on Kiera that crushed her out of existence. Maybe they could have been a problem to Kiera… if she didn’t shatter chains that couldn’t have been shattered. It didn’t make any sense. With just a flex from both of her arms, the chains just exploded right then and there. Uruk had no idea how it was possible; it didn’t matter how strong she was, they were chains he made with his mind! The only way it could work… is if Kiera’s will power OVERRIDED his. Kiera got in close, smirked, and was now face-to-face with Uruk.
“NO ONE is ever putting chains on me.”
Kiera was not at all going to forgive Uruk for what he had put on her. The poor alien didn’t even have time to process her words before she grabbed all of his eyestalks with one hand. With a powerful yank, Uruk almost felt like she ripped his eyes from his torso clean off, and the poor alien felt like his whole body was in agony. He had to resist her, and he knew how. Put up psychic shields all around his body. That way, he was protected from any and all attacks. Even those that should and would break apart entire planets, he would be unharmed by those kinds of blows. Uruk was feeling pretty smug and safe with his status.
Too bad for him that wasn’t how things were going to go. Uruk had no time to even rationalize what happened next, but for Kiera, it was simple. Kiera simply twirled Uruk around by his eyestalks. Spinning Uurk around while overhead, and with a great amount of strength from her wrist. To Kiera, all she was doing was spinning a creepy little alien around like the toy he was. But to the rest of the universe, and to poor Uruk, that was a completely different story. Kiera was spinning Uruk around so quickly that she was creating a cosmic vacuum around her, absorbing all of the star matter around her quite quickly, thanks to not only how durable Uruk was, but also the sheer speed of her spinning. Uruk couldn’t comprehend what was going on, mostly due to the speed, and his species had no idea what screaming was.
But if anyone was to invent screaming, it would be Uruk at that very moment. Poor Uruk would be screaming like a little girl. It would seem funny to make fun of Uruk over this, but it is hard to blame him. He is the strongest and greatest being in several universes that none have ever faced or could face. But right at this very moment, Uruk is up against something he never thought he would be up against. Someone STRONGER than him. Someone stronger than Uruk by several degrees… to the 1,000th power. Someone so powerful that if she so wanted, taking down Uruk would be done in an instant.
Which Kiera was going to do. Still spinning Uruk around, reality itself began to shake from the sheer kinetic speed of the spun-around Uruk. Uruk couldn’t even scream anymore, too dazed and harmed to even understand what was going on. It would be pitiful if Uruk didn’t have worse plans for Kiera if he was the one in charge. Too bad for the rather small but powerful bully that Kiera was not one to play around. If the little squirt wanted to be a jerk, Kiera thought, then he should be fine when a person TREATED him like a jerk deserved to be treated. Kiera was still spinning around Uruk as she saw the crack in the sky form, a large glowing purple crack that was nearly as big as the sun she was standing on.
Kiera didn’t really feel the heat coming on for her, but the crack did look pretty dangerous. Letting that get close to her might cause more than a problem or two, so she was going to have to get away from it. Or, with an alternative… feed it. Kiera saw the nice little appetizer in her arm and had no problem throwing him into the crack. Literally and metaphorically, given how fast he flew right at it. With just a fling of her wrist, the poor Uruk was sent hurtling right into the crack, and when he entered said crack, trying and failing to scream as best as he could, Kiera felt the whole universe shake. Too much of his psychic energy is clashing with the force of the universe itself.
It was dangerous for just about everyone in the universe that this was situated. Not for Kiera, mind you. She could more than handle all the energy and power this was bringing about. Kiera could have just let this go, but if the tear was a threat to everyone here, she was going to have to stop it. With her own two hands! Kiera put some power into her legs, and with a mighty leap, headed right towards the crack that she had formed. The sun reacted to her leap and nearly shook itself apart from the sheer force behind her leap. The star was powerful, but like any force of mass, place enough mass on it, and it may just break apart. What mass could be greater than a star?
The force of Kiera. The star was nearly destabilized by the force of her leap, and the whole solar body nearly imploded. As the star was forced to leave its own orbit from the force of Kiera’s leap, female footprints on the surface of the star, Kiera headed right at the tear in space with her arms outstretched. Kiera felt waves of energy come from the tear that was trying to tear her apart. Kiera did have to admit, it WAS rather powerful, but she wasn’t going to have any problem with it. All Kiera had to do was get in as close as she could, grab the tear with both hands, and SQUEEZE! On the one hand, what she wanted to do was impossible, given the size of the tear at this very moment. In width alone, it was the size of a football field, and in length, more than 10 times that size.
It was also growing. What Kiera was really doing was gripping on one side of the tear. How was she doing so? That part was easy; the tear was actually physical. The impossible part was the fact that her arms and body didn’t explode from matter reacting to antimatter. The impossibility of that act should have torn her apart to nothing, even beyond atoms, and yet, here she was. Now, was the part where she had to CLOSE the portal. Doing that should be rather easy for her. For example, Kiera would need leverage. The kind of leverage that she did not have at that very moment, unless she used all of her upper body to swing.
Good thing all of her wrestling lessons will help with that! Kiera swung her body low, and then, with all of her might and effort, swung her arms forward to bring the tear with her. Throwing everything she had and more, Kiera began to shut the tear down by closing it with all of her body and might. It took a lot of her strength to do so, but Kiera didn’t mind bringing in the portal one bit. With all of her mighty muscles, closing the portal took time and several swings, but closing a tear in space that was supposed to destroy anything close to it was as easy as ripping open a bag of chips. Kiera closed it shut and wiped her hands clean as she dropped off from the tear. It was a good thing she had a bit of a prize from her foe, stuffed between her fingers. A few tufts of fur from Uruk, which she put with the star bits she had. As Kiera was falling back to the star, the voice came back with a vengeance.
How dare you nearly tear a universe apart with everything that you have done! If I so wished, you’d be dead right now. But, because I promised you a fight, then fights I will give you. The next foe you face will be…
“Not to interrupt, really… but can I have some CLOTHES before my next fight?”
… Fair enough. Now, your next fight will be…
“Something like my old wear, but a different bra, cause it kinda chaffed my boobs and…”
I WILL GIVE YOU YOUR OLD CLOTHES! FOR WASTING MY TIME, KNOW NO INFORMATION ON YOUR NEXT FOE, AND PERISH!
Kiera was more than glad to be back wearing clothes. Was she less than glad to hit an ocean that was made up of acid? Anyone else would, and that was what followed. Battling a living ocean made up of acid that went around eating solar systems, a giant weapons factory the size of a solar system that had bullets the size of moons and that was for the smaller guns, ancient gods older than the very universe they lived in and called home, time beings who were living paradoxes who were able to shatter reality just by existing. Kiera fought all of them and did something that no one expected her to do. Kiera was WINNING these fights!
From doing breast strokes on the ocean that she boiled to turning the weapon factory into scrap to kicking gods to the mud to shattering paradoxes, Kiera didn’t stop one bit! It didn’t matter who she fought; what mattered was that Kiera was having the TIME of her life fighting every single one of these foes. To anyone watching these events, if they had eyes that could keep up with the raw awesome speed of Kiera and the power she was displaying that was leagues beyond a being ten thousand times her size, they would think Kiera was doing all of this with maximum effort, given the way her body was flexing as she was battling her opponents. The reality was, Kiera was just cutting loose for the first time in a long while, and she was loving the fact that she no longer had to hold back so much.
It was a real drag the way she had to pretend so many of her foes were no problem for her before. The ones in the ring, that was. Now, though, Kiera could just go all out and really have some fun! Test out her STRENGTH, and see what SHE was made of. Pushing herself to a limit that she never really knew she had, and wanted to test to see how much further she could go. Punches that were just one-punch knockouts may have seemed easy to anyone watching, but for Kiera, it was pushing her muscles to new highs. The way that, before, she never really THREW much of a punch! This was it, THIS was the kind of life she wanted.
The kind of life she deserved! The kind of life where when she threw a punch, it was a real punch! The kind of life where she actually felt some of her muscles heat up. Everything that Kiera did came from effort! Just like right at this moment, as she’s kicking in the face of a monster who eats galaxies. The size of the thing may very well DWARF the living galaxy she just fought before, but the galaxy eater was still someone who couldn’t match up to Kiera’s strength. Still, despite how easy a victory it was, Kiera didn’t care one bit. The exhilaration of throwing a REAL kick in the first time in her life, one with force and power that she actually had to consider rather than just hold EVERYTHING back, was enough for her.
Winning a fight didn’t matter to her. Pushing herself was, and she pushed herself had. But at the same time, their was some regret in her mind. Because while she was putting out a lot of effort in these fights, not once had she put out ALL of the effort. Now that would be something for her to really do. Maybe the next fighter would be able to do that for her. Or maybe they’ll go down like all of the rest, who could really say?
You think I do not have a fighter who can defeat you? Fine, I admit that you are… slightly stronger than I had predicted. But no matter how great your might is, you have no chance of defeating this next one. This is a foe who shall GRIND you down to your last PARTICLES. A foe whose might cannot be matched by any other, before or after. A monster greater than space and time itself. You will finally meet your end, and you will beg me for mercy… but I shall grant none. Now, you face your greatest foe, the greatest foe any being shall face… me.
The only thing Kiera could think was, well, that’s ominous. Kiera found herself in a place that she very well knew. A wrestling league. Not just any wrestling league, but the very first wrestling league that she had ever been in her life! Kiera was somewhat hit by the feeling of nostalgia over her, such a small little ring, in a room that wasn’t fit for even 50 people to watch the mask. The smell of old leather and spandex being smashed against each other, and the sweat and tears of those who fought in the ring just to get at the chance of victory over each other. Kiera loved the fighting in the ring, even when she knew that she would win any day. The atmosphere mattered more than the actual matches themselves, as it had this sense of history that she loved.
Of course, it could be that the history would be dangerous to her. The smell of nostalgia was too much for Kiera to notice who was coming right for her. A person who then clotheslined Kiera as she was paying too much attention to nothing else. An attack right from behind, and one that just slammed Kiera right into the ground with force that almost broke her own neck from how hard she was hit. Kiera rubbed the back of her head and looked at who had struck her. To say it was a surprise to know who the attacker was would be an understatement. Then again, who could ever predict that the attacker who tried to take your head off was yourself. Or, well, a cracked version of yourself.
Standing right there, with a powerful aura around her, was a woman who looked EXACTLY like Kiera… but the color was off. Like she was covered in shadows, and her eyes glowed with a hateful red. Whoever was standing there, there was no doubt in Kiera that this figure had power. Power that radiated beyond this room, and all across whatever place they were. As incredible as the figure was, resembling her in her darkest ways, Kiera already knew who the menace was without them even giving a clue.
“Really, you couldn’t face me in your true form, had to fight me with a lame shadow copy of me, Mr. Narrator?”
Impressive, you immediately clued into what I am. But this IS my true face. I am the face of your greatest doom, and your doom, is of course, your ego! The fact you thought you could win, and now, your doom is at hand, for I… AM DEATH ITSELF!
Kiera took one look at the pointing and snarling version of her that claimed to be death, and only had one reaction to possibly being face-to-face with death itself. She tackled death. The being that called itself death crashed right into the ropes of the ring and made a face that already told Kiera two things. It felt pain right then and there, and pain was NOT something it was used to. This boded well for Kiera, as she grappled with death itself. In Kiera’s mind, the main thing to consider was that this thing may be as powerful as her. Probably just as fast as well. But the question wasn’t how much it could bench or if it could outrace light itself. All things that Kiera herself could do.
But could Death wrestle? Even better question, could it wrestle as well as her? Kiera wanted to know, and that was why she kicked out the leg of her shadow self, held on to the shoulders of death, and threw her down hard, knocking down Death itself. That wasn’t even close to the final blow, given that Kiera then leaped onto the ropes and kicked them off. Did she do it too hard, by causing the very pole that she kicked off to explode? Sure. Did Kiera mind that she did so when she was focused on her big battle with death itself? Not very much. Did Death even notice that the pole seemed to have been destroyed by the sheer force of her own leap in the air? Not at all.
Not when one is about to be destroyed by a pulverizing elbow to the face. Death didn’t dare to let this elbow attack it, as they lifted their arm. They caught the elbow and gripped it with as much strength as they could, trying to break Kiera's arm. Perhaps if Kiera were anyone else, this would have worked, but instead of the grip hurting Kiera, it only caused Death’s arm to be pushed down. Push down enough to drop to her knee, hitting the mat, and didn’t even see the next elbow coming from the top of the head. The Death version of Kiera slammed right down to the ground, and Kiera was ready for the next attack. A knee strike, right to the solar plexus.
Did Death need to breathe? Who knew, but Kiera knew that Death didn’t like getting its ass kicked, and too bad that she was in an ass kicking mood. Kiera threw in a knee strike right to the chest with so much force that at the speed of her lifting her knee, the ring shook, alongside everything around the ring. Whatever the dark void they were in, it was struggling to handle the force and speed of Kiera’s blows. One who wasn’t struggling to keep up was Death. This time, they reacted to the blow coming for them, and anger was boiling inside of them. A rage that made Death catch the punch with their hand, and this time, there was strength behind Death’s arms.
Death gripped tightly, holding on to the arm and growling right in Kiera’s face. Kiera knew right then and there that this was a bad move. One that was only going to get worse when Death pulled their head back and headbutted Kiera with enough force to nearly cave in Kiera’s skull. It was a painful reminder that this was a pretty perfect replica of her body. One that had one sole focus in life, as Death grabbed the shoulders of Kiera and pulled their head back for a second headbutt. The desire to kill Kiera. This was not going to be easy, or fun. It was only going to get worse from here. Kiera had no time to defend herself when Death headbutted her once again, nearly cracking her skull this time.
Death didn’t stop slamming their head into Kiera’s head, as death went on and on with the attack. Each one almost seemed to be harder and faster than the last one. Kiera was being barraged with blow after blow from Death’s head, trying to crack her skull in two. The pain was starting to overwhelm, and the very room was shifting from the force of the blows. Despite nearly all of them just hitting Kiera, the shockwaves alone were causing a strange warping effect on the very area that they were in. As space began to change, everything around Kiera was falling apart, changing to Death’s very own personal domain. A realm where Death was not only the master of it, but in which NO one could survive. It was an endless dark void of anti-life.
One that had only one purpose, to drain and end the life of anything inside of it. It didn’t matter how strong the living soul was; they would be drained and weakened just being inside of the void. Kiera immediately felt the pressure on her, and if that wasn’t even close to the worst part, the worst was all of the brutal attacks upon her by Death. Death was kicking her as she held on to her, attacking her lower body with knee and thigh strikes while at the same time, just kicking Kiera in ways that were intended to deal maximum damage to her. Kiera could feel the damage from the blows starting to add up, and as if it didn’t get any worse, the void seemed to have a pressure to it. As if things were getting heavier every moment she was in there. As if nothing existed in this realm but Kiera and Death.
It was because that fact was true. Kiera couldn’t even breathe in this dimension, or see, or hear, or feel. All she could feel was death encroaching on her. That… and the pain from Death’s attacks. Kiera didn’t even know what to do as the barrage of blows came at her in directions that she couldn’t even see. The feeling of pain and dread came to her, as it felt like her body and soul were being torn apart. Everything was going haywire, and all of her body and muscles were failing to save her. It was pure torture… and it only made Kiera grin ear to ear. This wasn’t terrifying, Kiera. Kiera wasn’t horrified to find herself in a realm that would kill any living soul inside of it. This was, possibly, the best kind of place for her to be in!
This was a palace! This whole area has been designed to have one purpose, and one purpose only, to kill her! Which meant it had to be working, given how awful she felt! Whatever the death zone or death palace or perhaps a death bungalow was called, Kiera only knew it deserved one name. Heaven. Heaven for a woman who always wanted to cut loose to her maximum, be pushed to her maximum, and actually lose. The only way Kiera could ever lose was bby eing in a situation exactly like the one she was in. That thought would horrify anyone else in her place and make them feel very small.
Kiera felt like a giant as she went on the offensive. Instead of trying to block or deflect any of the attacks coming for her, Kiera let each and every single one head right for her. That way, she could retaliate against the attacks in an even greater way than Death was trying to dish out! Kiera didn’t try to dodge a headbutt; she headbutted BACK! Kiera didn’t try to stop a punch; she just punched the fist heading right towards her! Kiera didn’t hold back as she went full throttle with her attacks, and as each one landed, Death felt the worst pain in their life. Their headbutt had nearly shattered their skull, and they felt fingers and knuckles nearly explode from the punch. The body that Death wore was a perfect replica of Kiera. Just as strong, just as fast, just as durable.
SO WHY WAS IT BREAKING DOWN FASTER THAN KIERA’S WAS IN A DIMENSION DESIGNED TO STRENGTHEN DEATH AND WEAKEN THEIR FOES?! It wasn’t even CLOSE who was losing this fight! Death could feel the shell of its body crack from a blow to the stomach that nearly caved everything it was in two. A spinning elbow strike nearly took off the head of Death, as Death was still reeling from blow after blow. The attempts to fight back didn’t do anything to help, because Kiera was just throwing punches and kicks too fast for Death to even fathom. To say that Kiera was moving at light speed would be an understatement. Kiera moved at speeds that nothing could even register her movement. Death itself couldn’t see what was going on. Not with eyes as fast as Kiera’s, it still made no sense! How was Kiera surpassing who she was that Death perfectly created?!
Was the copy imperfect? No, because nothing about Kiera was imperfect. The reason the copy of Death was losing so badly was just the simple fact that nothing could beat the original. Death never trained their body every single day and knew it better than anyone. Death never felt the desire to push their body to the max. Death never said that they could be better today than they were yesterday. The pressure that Death felt was more than anything Death had comprehended before, as Kiera just moved right into the body of Death, as she began her next onslaught. This one was a LOT more powerful than the one that had pushed Death to the edge. These were attacks that were causing Death to feel cracks on its body when Kiera slammed her elbow right into the stomach of Death. An uppercut that had more force behind it than a star going supernova made the jaw of Death dislocate.
The most powerful, durable, excellent body in all of the universe was starting to crack. The only way this was possible was because of who was dealing the damage. The very same body, but one honed by her own power. One who said, I will NOT be born strong, I will BECOME strong! Death never strived in the way that Kiera did. In terms of body, the two of them were not equal at all. No, because Kiera’s will pushed her body beyond. If Death’s will was as strong as Kiera’s own, then perhaps the two of them would be equal in this fight. But when it came down to the willpower between an entity older than all life itself, or one woman who rather liked pro wrestling, it wasn’t a contest at all.
No, Kiera pulled her body back, as Death was rattled by everything going on, and for a brief moment, Death saw what was coming. The way Kiera’s body tensed as she lifted her arm, the way her arms flexed, and her thighs nearly expanded. Death knew what was coming, and fear was in Death’s eyes. This was a fear that Death never had in all of existence, because Death feared nothing. Death was the reason living and even non-living beings were afraid. EVERYTHING was afraid of Death! So, what could Death be afraid of? The same reason everything else was afraid of Death. Fear of someone bigger than them hurting them, and at that moment, Death found that bigger person.
A bigger person who did what no one ever dreamed possible or could fathom… Kiera clotheslined Death. With a powerful explosive kick, Kiera headed right for Death, slammed her arm around the neck, and then SLAMMED THE BODY DOWN! When Kiera slammed death, it wasn’t a pleasant little slam. It was a full-body TAKEDOWN that shook the entire dimension to its core. Everything exploded as the ground crumbled from the force of the clothesline takedown. Death smashed through the dimension that they had created to be their perfect domain, and all of it exploded like porcelain glass. Kiera flexed her body and had to admit, not actively dying felt great! In fact, all of this was so much fun! It was the first time in forever that Kiera actually pushed herself, the first time that her body felt a fire inside of it when she moved. Kiera didn’t win this fight. She BEAT Death.
Beat Death so bad that Death’s house was breaking down here and now. Kiera put her hands on her hips and smiled as everything tore up around her. Lots of people would be worried right now. Not Kiera, because what did she have to be worried about? A breaking-down dimension only meant she had to get out of there. What’s the best way to escape from a bad problem? You just jump out of it. Thus, as everything was breaking down and crumbling, Kiera just flexed her legs as she bent down. It required all of her leg muscles to do this, as she pushed down so hard that the ground under her crumbled even more than it had before. Death saw what was about to happen, still falling through the nether, and rage overtook Death. Did Kiera really think she could destroy their home and get away with it?! No, she must PAY for this action! She will not only pay, it will be with a fate WORSE than death! Death let out a powerful roar and charged at Kiera. No, more like Death soared at Kiera, intending to tear her apart and bring her into its embrace. Death dared not confess it had an equal, or in this case, a superior. Slaying her would be the only way to save its own ego.
Kiera did not even notice Death coming for her, because by the time Death was close enough for a blow to be struck, Kiera EXPLODED off the ground with her leap! One that rocked the whole dimension and finally, at that moment, caused it to implode. Death was blown away by the attack and let out a howl of despair that was intended to do the maximum amount of damage that it could to whoever heard it. Gods, universes, even dreams, would shatter at the horrible noise produced by the inhuman throat of Death, as it cursed them to never touch life's embrace again. The only thing Kiera heard was what sounded like a cat in heat. Kiera ignored it, shattering through the domain of what used to be Death’s realm, to head back to her home. A feat that would be impossible for anyone… except Kiera Hogan.
Kiera found herself back in her room… crashing onto the floor and rolling aside. As she lay on the floor, looking up at the ceiling with a light bearing down on her face, Kiera had to admit it. Damn, was she tired. But at the same time, this was the MOST FUN she ever had in her life! It hurt like hell a few times, and that death stuff was pretty weird, but all in all, that had to be the most spectacular thing she ever did in her life! It took everything she had and more to win those fights, and the last one pushed her in ways that she had never been pushed before. Yet, at the same time, Kiera knew that she was going to have to push herself even harder if she wanted to test how powerful she really was. With stuff she heard about a lot of other ladies in the world, Kiera knew one thing.
That she wasn’t alone, and if she wanted to take the title of strongest, fighting a universe or a living planet or even Death itself wasn’t proving that. It was going to be putting some of those women in the ring and showing them what a powerbomb is!
