Hello again, everybody! Another progress update. Again.Just found out that I can add dividers to these posts. I wish I'd known that earlier, Lol

Stomach Pushing

I've given the Stomach another tool to utilize in digesting its contents thoroughly: The stomach walls can now visually deform & push SPECIFIC objects around! It's used right now to churn the stomach contents, and can also push specific objects further into the acid to better aid in digestion. Pretty small feature, but really cool nonetheless.

New Memory System is Nearing Completion

I've just about finished up the Giantess' new memory / perception system. As it's brand new, it's naturally not very performant, so I'll need to go through an optimization pass for it. (This is the same system that allows the Giantess to predict the movement of entities behind obstacles). I also want to bring this system to micro AI's as well, as the major changes to this system actually broke micros' AI. I'd like to get that fixed before the next update goes out.

Speaking of next update...

Next Update ETA?

I still don't have an ETA for the next update. If I had to make a (very rough) estimate of its complete-ness, I'd say it's somewhere around 40% - 70%.

I have yet to start on several scenarios that I planned for the upcoming update, just because of how long it's taking me to finish the scripts, scenarios & tasks that I've implemented thus far.

Namely: Watching TV (with popcorn?), filling the coffee cup in the kitchen when it gets empty, getting dressed / undressed, taking a bath, using the bathroom, and eating captured micros from the micro jar in the kitchen & in the bedroom desk drawer.A lot of these are on the todo list just for more interactivity with the world, but most of them are required for certain scenarios.

What's taking so long?

When I make scenarios, I have to make unique animations (if the scenario calls for it), figure out where everything will be positioned in the level, make / buy custom models (though I try to use ones I already have where I can), and then work on the scenario's scripts.

While I'm testing scenarios, I also frequently run into bugs that require fixing for the progress on said scenario to continue. It's a pretty time consuming process all-around, and I already don't get a lot of time to work on the project, so I ask that you continue to bear with me!

The Big Vote

No pun intended.Seeing as this update is taking so long to finish (like all those before it), I figured it's only right to give control of this next update's fate over to you extremely generous folk. In my opinion, this next update isn't all that appealing over the last update without any of the planned scenarios, but there have been quite a few smaller (yet awesome) additions since then, so it's really up to you.

I can't stress enough how thankful I am to each of you that this project still even has supporters, despite the huge gaps of time between each update. You're all very patient, and I'm eternally grateful for that!! Again, I'm sorry this update is taking so long.

In the next progress update, I'll start taking steps to carry out the winning vote. See you all then!

I do a bit of modeling if you need some free models (excluding characters. Those are way more complicated and time consuming than simple props)

I won’t speak for everyone. But I dare to say that, indeed, a lot of us will remain patient. In all honesty, considering some of the other projects (I personally) keep tabs on. This is 1 that is far better kept than others. To put simply. It’s better to receive minor updates. Such as talking about future plans and general stuff. Rather than a ‘you’ll get your update when it’s ready’ kind of attitude some creators use. It’s been a long while since we got an actual game update, sure. But it’s better to receive a well polished and performing update. Than a small, somewhat buggy, minor update. Here’s to hoping nothing else derails this project further! Best of wishes!

I agree. In addition though, burn yourself out, take breaks when you need them. if we're willing to wait this long for an update we can wait longer if you need to take a break. :3 <3

I'm all for waiting longer, and to speak for myself, this project is something I don't mind supporting despite the infrequent updates. What matters to me is two things; the price of the support package is relatively cheap, and most importantly, you're giving small progress updates every 10 days. I have stopped supporting projects in the past because I'd be paying $10-$15 a month and I'd not hear anything from a creator for half a year... Keep doing what you do best! I'll be waiting patiently :D

I have noticed that many commentators have a tolerant attitude. In fact, I am no exception. I hope to provide long-term support for your work, as it is truly the best work I have found in this category, and it has a dedicated and responsible creator. I am looking forward to seeing new Realese, but it is not an urgent matter, especially in situations where frequent Realese may disrupt your creative rhythm. So, follow your pace and look forward to the next dazzling realese!

Silly Lil Bug

As eager as I am to try things out, I'm okay with waiting for a more finished version to be released because this project is pretty well managed and you release frequent updates about what you're working on. It's exciting stuff and I'm really looking forward to it when it comes out. Thanks for all your hard work and communication 💜

Heres my thoughts, I see lots of people saying they can wait, I agree could also wait for it all to done and fully cooked. Since these are like test releases anyways im not expecting these to be in perfect working order, so thats why i voted for another release. Let us playtest!

Hi, my 2cents is the content currently available is far too unstable and buggy, prone to crashes and freezes. A big focus is needed to make the current experience reliable, smooth, and simple to use, before more months are spent on extra features.

There is no need to rush anywhere, there is still time ahead!

My opinion is a little more nuanced. I think you shouldn't rush yourself to get anything out ASAP, especially if you're not happy with it or going to push yourself towards burn out. That said, I caution against waiting until 'everything is done', since early feedback can be super useful. Additionally, it also helps avoid waiting for a perfect state that can be elusive if not impossible.
