Why when i do the sidechain frequency split only the high/mids are sidechaining and the lows are not?

if you are using midi to trigger the sidechain you will have to do a second midi channel to trigger the 2nd shaperbox or use 2 external instruments which are then seperately routed to those sidechain channels on one midi channel using chains! :)

I'm also trying to set up transient shaper to sidechain my cymbals like in your stream but I'm having trouble working out how to route it to my drums group. If you know how to do this id be super thankful but if not its no stress, Ill keep trying to find a way.

Hey! I recommend checking out Kickstart 2 for sidechaining! Sidechaining setups in fl in general are a bit of a headache but i could cover it in a production livestream at some point for sure!

A tutorial in FL would be awesome for setting up a super clean sidechain 😃 Yes in my template I've used kickstart 2 for my sidechain. I've tried my best to recreate how you have your low freq sidechain and mid/high sidechain separate using imager.

I originally tried with Patcher but for some reason kickstart 2 doesnt recognise the Midi input but it works on a standard mixer track fine. So I have two mixer tracks next the master, One for low end and the other mid/high. With a kickstart on each and an imager in patcher to separate the low from the high. There is probably a better way to do it but that's as far as I've gotten atm haha. I'm also trying to find the best way to sidechain cymbals in Fl but couldn't work out how to use transient shaper to work

U could try kickstart 2 for cymbals aswell! kickstart 2 accepts audio sidechain input as a sidechain trigger so i highly recommend using that!

Great stream! I haven’t finished watching the 2nd half of it yet so I’m not sure if you figured this out later on… but I wanted to share to you Nasko or anyone else reading this comment why there eventually became confusion in bass notes and why it sounded off. You originally started out the loop in an Eb minor tonality but the moment you changed the riddim monotony of Eb as the root into a melodic riddim chord progression, you actually changed the key of the song to Bb minor. It’s kind of interesting how it played out that way without you realizing it and without you having any problems with reTune. The tonic of the key changed from Eb to Bb from the implication of the progression. If you understand chord progressions in standard roman numeral format, Im pretty sure it became notated as “iv-VI-VII” 👀✨

That Reese key tracking stuff is goated fr. I'm gonna do that but also key track the detune nob so that at higher notes, the movement is a tad slower, less chaotic! INSANE, thanks Nasko

Could you explain to me how the progression turned it into Bb minor? He turned on the scale thing in the piano roll and all the notes layed within D# minor. Were the notes the bass samples were playing out of key?
