N-SQUARIFY v1.0 FOR SNAP HEAP

N-SQUARIFY attenuates even harmonics based on a chosen bass note. On top of squarifying, you can limit the maximum frequency for the process, intensify the effect and input MIDI for note tracking.

Squarify in general is a wavetable offline effect which removes all even harmonics from a wavetable frame. This is great for getting more atonal metallic sounds, but is limited to said wavetables. N-SQUARIFY lets you emulate the same process using intelligent comb filtering on audio, which makes squarifying sounds post-audio easy.

Opening the snap heap rack from the minimized view reveals the NOTE KEYBOARD using the Remap modulator!

The dot determines what note you're on. This will make it far easier to select your bass growl note being played!

N-SQUARIFY also features MIDI INPUT/TRACKING and works seamlessly within Phaseplant.

FEATURES:

NOTE [C-B]: Lets you choose from C to B, covering a whole base octave. MIDI input will automatically open up a 2nd octave for notes higher than B0. 

MAX FREQ: Limits the high frequency squarification, allowing you to keep even harmonics at higher frequencies.

SQUARIFY: Bipolar. First half introduces the first comb filter. Second half introduces an additional comb filter.
