Hey! :)

Wanted to say thank you all again for the continued support throughout this year! I wanted to wait till the 2 year sample pack bundle to switch things up but decided that this winter might be the best time to get started on a new idea for the patreon!

With 42 Exclusive Production Livestreams and 10 Blender Livestreams on this patreon, i think that there's only so much quality information i can post without adding noise to the information that most people would find valuable, which is what led me to want to start a new format! :)

I'd like to do a compact how-to sound design series with short 1-10 minute highly edited quality videos!

Types of videos would include:

How-to Bass design covering things like FM basses, Growls, Tearout one shots and color bass

How-to synths and unique creative patches

Cool tips and tricks inside synths and plugins

Unique and fun plugins

Ableton workflow tips and techniques

nerdy fundamental sound design principles

Community requested videos

Let me know if you would like to see this kind of content on the patreon! :)

This will be great for when you are stuck on a song and maybe forgot how a certain type of sound is made. Open up the video you want to see, watch it for a short period and you're ready to go!

I will try and do as many as i can per month, hopefully posting atleast 2-4 a month! :)

Cheers,Nasko

I'd be down for this! Often times I am scrolling through the other livestreams to get to specific points and it'd definitely be nice to have that focused in a short 5-10 minute period.

Anytime I can think of a "good" how to series video I'll come here and post it here for you. It's multifaceted but, on the topic of loudness wars specific to EDM genres: 1. How to stay competitively loud while keeping macro-micro dynamics alive (crest factors, max peaks etc). 2. Discussing perceptive loudness vs actual loudness on meters (one track at the same LUFS will sound louder vs another at the same LUFS for e.g.). - Taming peaks through the entire mixing chain such as track and bus limiting, compression, and clipping (soft and hard, and what elements do they work well on; transient material vs non-transient etc). - How to stick with a loudness level workflow and not overthink it. Hope this helps with some ideas!
