Hello Hello, Beautiful People!

Once again, I'm both nervous and excited to release a new build, this one containing a good mix features in my opinion, BUT I have some bad news.

~~ PLAYING THIS BUILD REQUIRES A NEW SAVE ~~

Why, you may ask?Because of the absurd amount of system-wide changes from version 0.1.1 .It would have been simply impossible to make a reliable compatibility patch, and attempting that + testing would have taken me too much time, for too little benefit. So I thought it would be better to simply pull the plug while it's early, look as far as I could into systems I still had to implement, and rework and develop as much as possible, so that future builds wouldn't (hopefully) require starting a new save.

And this, I'm afraid, was the main focus of this update: Systems, not Content.

Sorry, but it was absolutely necessary and doing this now will allow me to focus more on the fun stuff in the coming builds.

So with that out of the way...

What's new?

Bugs

- Arnie not using the protagonist custom name - Fixed- Not being able to make any progress on a new save - Fixed- Character sprite highlighter not working as intended - Fixed

Content

- 2 New story events- 2 Animated sex scenes (1 of which during the intro as a "flashforward sequence". It was a last-minute addition to apologize for the new save requirement)- Rebalanced the cost of several items; begin with more money and a few more items one should logically have; increase security job salary slightly- Character profiles to the voice settings for better usability- Font size choices- Feedback when earning money- You can now modify the Panic images by adding new files to "game/panic" folder- Weather System (pt1) - Very basic consequences to weather for now. No weather-based responses, but weather-appropriate outfits are already needed. - Outfit System (pt1) - No visual changes yet, but are needed to combat the weather. Visuals coming in the build after the next.- Better Stat update visual response (now increments instead of jumping to the final value)- CG Gallery, Music Gallery, Music Gallery with A,D, and arrow key controls- Advance and rollback dialogue using A, D, and arrow keys- Improved Sounds Effects for Weather and other scenarios (Try going to the first new story event available AFTER Arnie and Ayj visit during a stormy weather... I think it quite enhances the mood of that scene)- Shady Merchant system (small chance of being visited by Shady, the merchant, who offers rare and random items at cheap prices, and more)- New randomized responses to some base interactions (feed, outfit rejection, etc)- Most items now have icons- 4 new collectibles (some only available through Shady)

Changes

- Reduced the duration of pauses of several interactions at home

Of course!First access going to members Tier 3 and above. You'll need to have an Itch account to download from their servers. In the future I'm setting up a download page on the studio website so you can download it from there, but it's a work in progress.
