Acast x Patreon issue - may cause episode delay (Patreon)

Hello!

Writing to let you know that we're currently experiencing an issue with Acast that might delay the release of tomorrow's Get Played episode in the RSS feed. This may also impact people's ability to access the RSS feed in general.

For transparency: Acast's connection to Patreon needs to be reauthenticated but we're experiencing error after error trying to make it happen. Acast is offline until Monday so this issue won't be resolved until then. Until I can get ahold of them there's nothing else I can do unfortunately.

It will release here on Patreon and in the free feed as normal but because of the issue might not be in the Get Played Season Pass RSS feed. Sorry about this and thank you for your patience.

Love the host and the support team too, y'all are doing an amazing job but you should seriously reconsider using Acast, they have been causing problem with me podcasting app since you started using them and now this. They just don't seem to be that competent of a company and this show deserves better.

Random but related question: I listen to main Get Played episodes on Spotify for the most part. Is my listen counting for better money or stats here, there, or on the rss feed? It might not matter but I want to do whichever is best for the pod since it doesn’t affect me either way due to listening to podcasts in like 4 different apps now haha
