I'd throw in Can't Stop: L Board edition for push your luck. It's by far the best looking version of the game and comes in a very small box that unfolds to become the board. In my opinion there's no better push your luck game. I really enjoyed this and the main video!

Yeah I considered that one! It's a nice small box for sure.

I like bringing a deck of cards. You can play easily play Trio or Skull with it! A video about game you can play with a deck of card would be nice. Thanks for the video.

Late to the party but I joined your Patreon just to say thank so much for this video! It inspired me to look over my game tote (a smallish 18qt plastic tote from Hefty) that I use to carry my "travel" games collection from house to house and in some instances even on road trips and camping. I realized that many of my games fell into the same category in terms of mechanics and while I enjoyed all of them, there was a sense of repetition. I decided to rectify this with the help of your video to provide more variety and thus far the difference is incredible! While I doubt my travel collection will top anyone's game collection or preference, it does satisfy the wants and quirks of myself and my friends. Game nights rarely have more then 8 people, usually hovering around 3-4. I've also had times when I been out with a friend who wouldn't mind a 2 player while waiting for food or a movie to start. Almost all prefer a simple game as well. Will have to say though, it is addicting researching and finding small games to fit certain criteria. My friend challenged me to create a grocery tote bag of (varied mechanics) food and food related games for her (at about 19/20!) and I also did a personal challenge of gathering a small collection of pirate games to fit into a XL crown royal bag. That one definitely got a few laughs but it also my favorite collection so far. Thanks again for the content and looking forward to more!

Just throwing out a few potential Tempel des Schreckens alternatives: While the basic Time Bomb does have the issue of only having one bomb card, the newer Time Bomb: Evolution version puts a different spin on the whole thing with having to get four of one bomb color. Plus, different bombs have different special effects. Then this year, Time Bomb: Undercover is releasing, and it adds a third party to the mix. I love the concept of having a three team deduction game—Feed the Kraken (not at all a small game, but still my favorite hidden role/social deduction game) does this really well. I’m curious to see the TB implementation! Would love to see what yall think!

By the way, I’m hooked on this idea of covering a variety of genres in such a small package. Totally brilliant!! I’m not seeing anyone else do this, but it’s such a fantastic idea!!!

Thank you for making these videos on small board games that pack a lot of fun. I have bought multiple of the small games recommended in this video and the original on the strength of your recommendation. I have had a great time playing each with friends and family. It is so nice to be able to turn up to board game events at uni with a backpack full of games. My favourite so far is Order Overload.
