Chastity Update 5: What would you change? (Patreon)

Hey all this is a small update, 

My computer is currently in for repair, therefore I thought I would spend the time looking at your feedback.

I would love to know your feedback from the testing of the V5 cage so far. it's been just over 10 days from the first release. 

Here are some suggested questions, but don't feel you have to answer only these:

Have you tried to print it? 

Is it hard to print?

Have you worn the cage?

Do you like how it feels?

How does it compare to other chastity cages?

What would you change?

What features do you like?

I would also like to share some of this feedback with the wider audience. If you are happy for your feedback to be shared (positive and negative), please indicate in your comment or message to me :)

The only thing that could do with change is how the cage attaches to the ring it's a bit big, sticks out a bit and I usually have to sand it down a lot to get it to fit properly (that might be my printer and how I print). it's not that hard to print I use an Ender S1 with supports I found increasing the wall settings from 2 to 4 with a tends to be the exact fitness of the cage making it more solid and there are fewer infill areas. the files for the ring are vertical and printing it vertically tends to fail. so I print it horizontally which works all the time. it's the most comfortable device I have tried and the best design I've seen. I like all the options and can't wait to see the different styles. I do think small medium and large tongue versions would be a nice option for people (but that would be a lot of work to do) and more sizes for the Rings would be nice too. happy to share my feedback

I joined to ask 1 question can you make a 65 and 70mm ring I have had both a v4 and v5 holy trainer at 55 and 60mm and both caused issues can you please make a 65 and/or 70

chastity strap holder attachments for the rings would be great. The 35mm width is ok for the small cages but not for the larger ones, the width V4 was also too small, the width V3 was good.

Thank you for this :) so few questions for you. Which length would you stop using 35mm width, and move to a larger width? And I am making wide versions of all the cages. So there will be a standard and a wide version. So you think the standard width should increase, which would then mean the wide version would increase even further? The chastity strap holder, what benefit would this be over just having the strap around the ring?

So my KB3D version 4 has a 60mm and 68mm as it was a specific request. For KB3D V5, although I have uploaded only up to 60mm. I intend to increase this up to 70mm. So I will include a 62.5mm, 65mm, 67.5mm and 70mm. In both, close, standard and far. So I will move these sizes up the priority

Thank you for the feedback. So I print with 2 walls but 80% infill. Maybe I should change it. To 4 and an lower infill. The locking mechanism is large, mainly to ensure the strength of the locking mechanism. This version is smaller than V4. And I can probably go smaller, i’ll look into it! I will definitely do more styles, and a wide version of each cage. In terms of sizes of the tongues, how would you make them bigger? Would you make it wider? Would you make it come back further before it curves up? Or would you extend it after is curves up?

More a question I have sla and a fdm printer what should I use? I assume the sla then clean and put the resin on it ?

All my testing and prints are completed on FDM. Issue with SLA, is the liquid resin, which is toxic when not fully cured. If you trust your cleaning methods (UV and solvent) it should be fine. SLA doesn’t leave layer lines so shouldn’t have an issue with hygiene.

I use 60% infill also having the walls settings to 4 memes it's harder to sand into the infill. the tongue I think the width is the right size. and extending it before and after it curled up to increase the length of the tongue I think that might be best.

Thanks for the fast answer. The Micro is okay, but doesn't have the perfect width. The Kilo is impossible to wear. But I think I should wait for the wide versions. Strap holder: I didn't think about it, but it is usually not necessary. I use the chastity cages with estim (electro stimulation) and the contacts are on the sides of the ring. It is a very special requirement, for which I could modify the STL myself. You could forget this feature ;)

I've printed it twice now and just making a few tweaks before my 3rd print. I print in ABS so that I just need a little bit of filing to remove the rough edges (mainly where the support attaches) then I vapour smooth with acetone. I have the cage oriented with the tip down and use supports from the bed only. That's mainly to help it stick to the bed as there is pretty much no contact area. That results in the inside of the cage being the "top" and there has no supports and is so smooth I don't have to do anything to it. The ring, I have the lock part at the bottom with it tilted over (I wish I could post a picture!) which results in some supports being needed at the top of the ring. They come off pretty easily and after vapour smoothing there is nothing there. I have still only worn it for a few days at a time - I'm waiting for the cage design as I find I can stay cleaner. I also need to modify it to fit my PA Ring. All up, it seems very comfortable and I don't think there is anything I would change to the design. One suggest as an optional extra though is to have one which is designed to take the plastic security seals. That way you could potentially design one that was almost flat as it only needs to fit the seal through - remove the metal lock altogether.

I think that the current dimensions are too skinny to be considered standard. The V4 cages appear to be wider in almost every variety up to mili cage. If all of the cages were returned to V3 dimensions, the current ones would work well as a slim model.

Hey, thank you for your comment. I have reviewed my diameters and indeed they are too narrow, they were narrower than what I aimed for. I had my measuring tool set incorrectly. I have made a new post which will have a revised Atto cage. I aim to replace a cage a day.

Have you given any thought as to also releasing rings with a testicle separator?

My personal experience has been that when hot I end up filling the gap between the sides of the tongue and the ring. Then, the edge of the strap rubs causing chaffing and extreme discomfort. For some reason every chastity strap I own is a really rough fabric/elastic or has a sharp edge. Strap attachments would be a massive improvement

Typical straps are made of rather rough materials that cause irritation, at least for me. I work a physical job were I walk, bend over, sit or stand a lot so there's a lot of movement in the groin area. To avoid that I go for larger rings which is sub-optimal since I like my cages snug and a little tight
