Too bad that IRL, the Celt version of an army was a disorganized mob, which did not work well against well equpped and trained Legionaries. Of course, the Legionaries did not do well against the superior tactics and technology of the Germans. Teutoburg Forest was not luck. The German forces used many spies and agents to study Roman strategy, tactics, weapons, and armor, then developed new tactics and weapons to defeat them. Depots were raided for strategic materials and disrupt supply lines. Hit and run attacks were used to disrupt routines. Brutal assassinations were commited for psychological warfare.
