The Patron-only sale of the large screwdriver kit will finally happen on October 6th, 2020!

Limited supply of ~100 units.

If you miss out on this, do not worry, as I will have more kits for sale later.

Thank you all for your support in getting these made.  It took a few years to sort everything out so I can sell these at a reasonable price, while still maintaining quality and having them all made here in Canada.

The screwdrivers with handles already attached and finished will be available later as well, but obviously, at a higher price.

If you do grab a screwdriver kit and make your own handles, I would love to see the process or end result!  I want to show off your finished screwdrivers as examples in the launch video on YouTube.

I will also provide a link on the screwdriver sale page to where you can download your own template or even the full 3D CAD model if you have something very fancy in mind!

Awesome! And those who want them with the handle already?

kevin hollo

What is the material that these are made of? Will they be numbered? And how much extra to get one with a handle?

handtoolrescue

The handled ones should be ready later this year, hopefully.

The Custom Cave

My body is ready! Will there be a method of getting it into the UK without being hit with an additional £18 which doesn't even go to you?

Brian Damour

I have cleared an entire spot on my workbench, it is dedicated to this screwdriver. I am so very ready to give it all the love and attention it deserves. There is a block of curly maple that I have been saving for just the right project, handle scales seem like the perfect choice.

Jimmy Dee

Material for handles? Got it; I've set aside some manzanita root burl. A great idea? Got that, too. Heat treat? Can do. Time to get 'er done? Time? Time? (Anyone have some extra time?)

Scrach360

Maybe a quick video on the heat treating? I'm sure it's something I can do, but if there's a way to screw up a $60 screwdriver, I'd probably find it.

Kris Kuckowicz

Looking forward to it! I have a nice maple burl piece thats been waiting for a good project.

Gregor Kildow

I saw this announcement, read the "October 6th" on the flyer above, and then still tried 3 times to locate the screwdriver on the sale page. I am an American hero.

Kyle Hoffman

You’re not the only “shoot first, ask questions later” American here. I didn’t even read it, just assumed it said they were up for sale and kept trying to find them....

Phil Smith

I plan on making the scales from pork, so I will have a Perfect HAM-dle screwdriver.

Matthew Pelletier

My girlfriends been wanting to do a rough wood topped with resin project with me since we started dating almost 2 years ago. Think we might use this screwdriver to finally getting around to doing it.

Robert Paix

Just clicked on the picture to add it to the cart ... I am an german hero ;)

Robert Paix

Bank account: checked. Collection of fancy wood: checked.

Gregor Kildow

It makes me think of Ocean's 11, where they're discussing the plan using euphemistic names. "I want to try a Rough Wood topped with Resin..." "Yeah, but you need at least two screwdrivers to pull it off..."

alex latzko

which time zone for 6 October ?

Jimmy Dee

Here I sit, broken hearted, it's 8AM, and the sale's not started.

Gord Crawford

Sad face :( like Christmas and no Santa :(

Just_Greg_L

What kind of witchcraft is this??? Who has cursed my intertube gizmo for I see no driver of screws!?!?

Gord Crawford

Of course, no time change in toon town!!! Duh!

Just_Greg_L

When when when take my money!!!!!

Just_Greg_L

Glory Glory Hallelujah!!!!! Order placed !!!! Now I must build a shrine!

Brian Damour

Everyone who did not know that CST (Canada) is not the same as CDT (US) raise their hands. :-P

Gregor Kildow

I didn't even know that people called CST (US) "CDT (US)". But yeah, I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning, only to wake up to a feeding frenzy in progress.

Brian Damour

It depends on where we are in the time cycle. In Autumn/Winter the zone uses Central Standard Time (CST). During spring/summer most of the zone uses daylight saving time (DST), and changes to Central Daylight Time (CDT) which is five hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) instead of six. Gotta love confusing and outdated systems.

handtoolrescue

Also, Saskatchewan doesn't do daylight saving time.
