I didn't think I would like this movie, but I'm glad my sister dragged me to the theaters to see it. Now I'm so pumped for part II. Also, this was my first introduction to Johnathan Bailey but I just started watching Bridgerton a few weeks ago. Now every time I see him I think of Lord Anthony Bridgerton and wheeeeew chile 🥵🥵🥵

It was SO fun watching this with you. This must be around the 10th time I've watched it now and it still hits the same way. I'm not really an emotional person but Defying Gravity gets me every time. Although I do think of Rachel and Kurt every time I hear the opening notes lol. Cynthia Erivo is just INCREDIBLE!! I didn't know her before Wicked, I'd never heard of her before. But I'm definitely a fan now. What a talent and she's SO beautiful as well, when I saw the photos of her at recent Wicked: For Good premiere I was like "yep, I'd date her" lol. Not that she'd EVER date me, she's a million miles out of my league, but you know what I mean. Same goes for Jonathan Bailey, what a beautiful man. 😂 And I totally agree with what you said about Ariana. I knew she could act well from Victorious, I'll have to pay for you to react to that one day lol, but in a role as big as this one I was worried. But she's absolutely perfect. Also I'd never seen Wicked before this movie. I only knew the songs Defying Gravity, For Good and Popular because they were done on Glee. So I had no idea what to expect with this and I also have no idea what to expect with part two which is exciting! I've been told I need to prepare myself for emotional turmoil, fun. 😂

I still don’t understand the line change in no one morns the wicked with elphaba is born they say in the origional “it’s atrocious it’s obscene” but in the movie it’s “it’s uncanny its obscene”… to me it diminishes the moment of the song ever slightly…
