Here's the thing with Tom Koracik I can understand why he is the way that he is... But it's not even lightly endearing to me. He's just an ass to absolutely everybody all the time having a dead kid is not an excuse to be an asshole to everybody all the time. That's the type of person that I would have to hit 🤣. Like he's the type of person where we could possibly be friends but I am going to have to smack the shit out of you before we get to the point where that's even possible because somebody needs to teach you that you can't just go around talking to everybody however the fuck.

I dare you to go back and just watch season 1 episode 1, mainly just to look at Alex. And then watch this one again. and then just cry your eyes out at far our evil spawn has come and how much he's grown and become such a good man <3 I can never get enough Alex.

Jo asking Alex to marry her, when she was always the one to run away from love/relationships out of fear, and then the terrible past with her horrible ex husband, and Alex , with this bravodo, neanderthal outer shell (as meredith said),which is so untrue, could easily be seen as a hyper masculine, red flag, etc , and always scared people are eventually going to leave him; him being the one who is proposed to, and being so genuinely happy, and open to it, without making it weird .....that's absolute perfection for this couple, love how that was done

Look, I'm in the minority here already appreciating Tom before this but in this episode and with his speech, my heart broke for him. I also appreciate that he tried to help April in his own way tbh. That's just my humble opinion of course. The last scene with Jo and Alex made me so emotional ugh. I love them. Loved your reaction. See you on the next one. (You know what I thought about when Jackson talked about being prom king four times but having some pain ? "Hot guys have problems too" from Crazy Ex ha ha.)

I love Tom. Though it's hard to remember retrospectively if I liked him as much before this episode or not lol. That speech though was heartbreaking.

Yes, I liked the flashbacks as well this episode with Maggie, Jo and Alex. I thought it tied into this episode quite well. Meredith being screwed over like that for possibly her mother’s error seems really unfair, but it also does seem like something Ellis would do lowkey. Hearing that speech from Tom about his son was so sad 😭
