Yay what a wonderful surprise :)

We're back baby! Change is hard, and I can't really remember my overall opinion of Alex, but that's the great thing about rewatching the show with you is that I get to see if I liked her or not.

Becky Mitchell

Woke up to see a new season of Criminal Minds!! So excited.

As much as we all miss her, I really like that they didn't try to replace Prentiss with a copy but have the newby actually be someone different and bring in their own flavour. And I genuinely love the very evident connection Reid has with Alex that is very different to anyone else. I think this was a great introduction to her and I kinda liked Alex from the beginning. That being said, while I truly like this episode and think it's a tragic and interesting unsub and a great introductery episode for Alex, I genuinely forgot two thirds of it and could not remember pretty much anything of the case... Let's see how many more holes I'll have going onward. I do know that this season has one of my favourite story arcs! Other than that? I'm pretty much drawing a blank...

We shall 💜 Bless you💜💜 I'm not good with cast change either when I like my characters I like them. She sounded like she was reading the script with no energy behind it but so long as I have Reid, Morgan, Peneople, Hitch and Rossi I'm good.

We're all gonna miss Prentiss, I also hate change, but Blake's actually pretty great. Obviously you can't tell from one episode but give it time

“It’s probably not killing people” 😂😂

No one can replace Prentiss; I’ll miss her deeply. I don’t know if it was mentioned last season because I’m still catching up; after the unjust firing; Paget had already booked a comedy series. Hence why she opted not to return for season 8. Blake is just ok in my book.
