Unfortunately, there seems to be no plans for a season two, but likely will see Joe & Agatha's characters again in the WandaVision follow-up project Vision Quest. Loved this show though, and definitely a very creative lane for Marvel. One of their more recent projects "Wonder Man" is also a great, creative self-contained season like this, which is a phenomenal story about acting, believe or not

I love how it truly was Agatha, all along! Everything messing up the happy vibes in Wandas world: Agatha. The idea of the witches road: Agatha. Jens binding: Agatha. The Salem Five coming to Westview giving Billy the push to subconciously creating the witches road as an escape: Agatha. That title is apt!

I mean technically Agatha All Along was sort of a season 2 to WandaVision. I used to be quite on top with what will be coming to the MCU. But with Disney being more about money than storytelling and the production leaning towards fan service which makes bad media and then bombs, there were a lot of shows and movies announced that now have been scratched, and some bits of the MCU were declared non-canon, and I believe they even changed bits about the ending of Endgame to fit the canon of new shows/movies or something. That is a very long scentence to say that I don't know what shows will actually come in the future, because they keep changing it, and I stopped looking into what the thing will be about since they keep changing it anyways... BUT that opens up the possibility to speculate! We end AAA with a new quest: find Tommy. We know that somewhere out there in a very bad place is the reincarnated Tommy in a tormented teenage body. From the end of WandaVision we also have White Vision out there trying to find out who he is and what his purpose is. And the series VisionQuest is in post production right now (so no chance of it not happening) So my hope is that it is a true third act to the whole Maximof Saga!

Love this show so much. That twist at the end about the song and the road i think is such a fun creative way to end it. There’s no season 2 greenlit at this moment, my expectation is that they carry on this story possibly as a different 1 series show down the line or possibly as a part of other marvel stuff. I really really hope Rio has a bigger part in the wider MCU going forward too. She said she took the role here purely because she would get to work with (and kiss) Kathryn Hahn, but i’d love to see her show up in the movies down the line. Kathryn Hahn with the grey hair was when i first said “oh she would be so good as Mother Gothel” which she then later got confirmed for after a massive online campaign for it.

Speaking with a nerd rant here, and while I really enjoyed this series, it continues the trend of the MCU doing whatever they want with established stories and characters. The reason for Thanos' mission in the comics is to seduce Death, who finally shows up after her relevance died, a fact they alluded to when he first spoke onscreen but never built on it. They wait until Iron Man dies to bring in his biggest enemy Mandarin who ended up having as much to do with Mandarin as Trevor did in IM3. Ironically, the only hero who still has a secret identity (or really the only one who ever had one at all in the movies) is the one who goes public during Civil War which is a huge catalyst for the rest of that comic arc. I know VisionQuest (a name I'm not really sold on and sounds like an 80s Atari game) will continue the story but I really feel like the Wanda trilogy of shows will go nowhere in the broad spectrum of the canon. And really, how many movies will witches and Agatha ever be relevant anyway? I'm really hoping the MCU gets a soft reboot and they bring it more in line with the comics
