I disagree with "who cares if you're exhausted, just do it." That's irresponsible and a big reason for mortality in medicine.

"In January 2024, 22-year-old Cole Schmidtknecht from Wisconsin tragically passed away from a severe asthma attack after his insurance stopped covering his maintenance inhaler. The out-of-pocket cost skyrocketed overnight from $66 to over $530, forcing him to choose between paying rent or buying the life-saving medication." ^this is murder, IMO

I love how different Dana is, depending on if she is talking to Robby or Emma. Santos not wanting to admit that she feels better with Whitaker as a roommate worries me. She clearly needs to talk to someone instead of covering everything with snark. And Mel and Langdon.... I just love their relationship. So many great moments in this episode!

Both my daughter and I have been to the ER a few times for asthma attacks. They are scary! And I use Singular (a pill) plus an inhaler, which isn't cheep.

I don’t really have an issue with Al-Hashimi - think we just don’t fully know her deal yet. Those brief zone outs look like some kind of trauma reliving response to me. Which to me just means there’s more to learn about her, not that she isn’t fit to be an attending. Robbie we already know struggles with the impact of his trauma and we’ve seen him have some moments of meltdown. Doesn’t make him not a competent doctor imo, just a human one. I think Al-Hashimi has certainly seemed competent- albeit with a different style- over this season, so I’m going to give her the same benefit of the doubt until we learn more

We don't really know what happened with Orlando, but some of them (and Robby voiced it) think he might have jumped on purpose to eliviate his family from his medical costs - at least that is the implications I get from what Robby said and some of the looks and inquiries of the others. He might just have fainted because of the heat and fell or something like that though. We don't really know... I find it's interesting though that especially Robby is so adamant about Orlando doing that on purpose, with all the hints we get about his own mental health and the worry the others seem to have about him...

Whitacker has been the goat all season, but especially in this episode? Oh boy! The way he is patient with Santos, helpful with Nazely, caring with Ogelvy, showing his medical expertise all around - that's kinda really hot!!!
