Yeah this season is good- I’m having fun with the rewatch of this one cuz I remember how it ends but not how we get there so I’m along for the ride too 😆

The thing with Dexter is that his whole vigilante thing is really just a cover though. Like we know from his constant inner monologues that he NEEDS to kill people…Harry just created this way for him to do it that HE was able to live with- and now it’s just Dexter’s ritual. He’s not actually motivated by justice because he cares about his fellow man - it’s just like a game to him. So yeah, Trinity is defo a psycho but our boy Dex for sure is too even tho we love him lol

Idk if it’s just the roles she’s played or what but this reporter girl annoys me in everything I see her in - whether she’s coming on to Bill Compton in True Blood or coming on to Alaric in TVD or coming on to Quinn in Dexter she’s just always doing too much for me 😅

I love the twists this show gives and this one is right up there with one of my favorites, finding out he has a family too.

I love this show. One of my favorite dynamics is how they used Dexter’s father as a guide as he goes through these situations. I love it.

There is a reason this season is considered the epitome of show. It’s literally John lithgow. He plays so hard against typecasting even his own wife looked at him and questioned his sincerity.

This is my fav season of Dexter too! Amazing writing paired with great acting from everyone makes for such compelling storytelling! John Lithgow makes for such a believable bad guy!
