I love this episode, for sure one of my favourites. There have been so many Inspector Spacetime moments in the show but this is the only full episode dedicated to it and it's done so well. You're right that it would be hard to understand the episode if you hadn't seen Doctor Who, which is one of the reasons why I made sure you'd seen a few seasons of Doctor Who before starting to sponsor Community and why we made sure to only sponsor this season after you'd seen Doctor Who season 10 so that you'd recognize Matt Lucas AKA Nardole. A fun cameo. Also the references to the first female Inspector being hated was a direct reference to the first female Doctor being hated. And she was, but mostly by misogynistic old men who didn't like The Doctor changing gender. I'm very confident you'll love her like Britta does. 😂 As for Annie and Jeff, yeah they're VERY flirty in this episode. Throughout the entire show there's always an undercurrent of something romantic between them and in this episode they drop really heavy hints again. Personally I ship them so I enjoy their moments a lot. And I've watched this show so many times and I didn't realize that the women who flirts with Jeff and the two people in the end scene are all really famous lol. This is one reason I watch my favourite shows with reactors, you learn a lot. 😂😂

I haven’t seen Lucifer so I didn’t recognize the woman who talks to Jeff but yeah Jennie Garth and Luke Perry - Kelly and Dylan from the original 90210 - that was for sure a huge guest appearance here in terms of American pop culture significance 💯

Never watched Doctor Who but I still enjoy the reference to it here and throughout the show with the guys’ love of Inspector Space Time. Gotta be honest though I have 0 investment in Troy & Britta or Annie & Jeff as couples … would much rather they swap 😂 Someone in my apt building has a WiFi called “Troy and Abed in the Modem” that always makes me smile 😆

Ah ok, I've never seen 90210 and I guess they weren't as popular here in Britain so that explains why I don't know them. But it's good to know that they're famous, I'll remember that for when I rewatch. 😊
