Hi everyone!

First of all, thanks so much to everyone who's pledged to our Patreon thus far!! It's more than we could have ever hoped for in our WILDEST DREAMS, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We would have been overjoyed if we started with 100 patrons but somehow we have SEVEN TIMES that! Mind-blowing, we love you.

Obviously, we want to repay that generosity by making sure that the extras you're getting you are the sort of thing you'd like to see. We've read through all the comments for the Uncut episode of Cosmic that we released and wanted to update the format a little in line with what you think.

Changes we'll make for all future eps:

- The rules intro will be added to the beginning of the video

- We'll add graphics for cards, as well as onscreen score counters, timers etc, to make it super easy to follow the action.

We just wanted to ask our patrons their feelings on one final issue, whether they wanted the talking heads added to the uncut versions. We'll be honest, currently we're reticent to do so for the following reasons: it does add a considerable amount of edit time, and also we were kind of hoping to have Uncut feel more like watching a pure gaming session, everything we shot, without the editorialising of the talking heads. We use the confessional bits to explain tactics to a mainstream crowd, add a bit of extra sass, and provide a more palatable way to hard edit large stretches of the session out to make the public video more accessible.

Personally, we'd prefer to leave them out of Uncut, but we also feel that a good Patreon is a conversation between patrons and creators, so we wanted to gauge the opinions of our $10+ patrons. Please do let us know and we can work out what's best for everyone

Adam

I'd like them in just because it's more awesome content from you guys! But if it isn't possible due to edit times I understand!

Macon Leary

I don't need the talking heads in the uncut version (and can't quite decide if I like them or not). Very happy with the proposed changes.

Kieran Page

I really like what you're suggesting, but I think it'd be cool to get the cutaways as like a little compilation, or a monthly best bits/funnies/outtakes kinda video

Zak Robinson

I don’t think the uncut version necessarily needs the talking heads segments; they add to the version released to the general public, but with the uncut version, it’s nice to just see the entire game session play out as it did in real-time, without interruption :)

Matthew Heen

I think leaving the uncut versions less edited is just fine. I really enjoyed the first one and can always go back and watch the regular version later to get even more enjoyment.

Nathan Schultz

If it's not going to let us miss out on bits and it's a lot more work I'm not missing it.

Paul Berrow

I'd rather not give an editor added stress so I'd leave the taking heads we can always rewatch the edited versions is we want them (we all know we rewatch this stuff right?)

Austin

I personally don’t mind not getting the talking heads. If I really need it I can always go back and watch it with the regular version on YouTube. If they were to be added that would be great, but if it’s not worth the hassle I really don’t mind.

st1102

I think the uncut versions would be better without the talking heads, honestly. Part of the appeal of Board Game Club for me is how it feels like it's just a group of good friends playing board games and the talking heads kinda ruins that vibe.

Elliot Nalborczyk

I think leaving out the talking head segment if fine, the only things needed where the rules intro at the beginning and score card and what not and there happening so that’s perfect

Jake and Monica Evans

I’m perfectly happy with the talking heads left out personally!

Melissa D

I don't think that the uncut videos need the talking head segments, since it would add more to the editor's workload. Thanks for the offer though.

MZA

To me, the only downside of this would be feeling like I'd need to watch both vids to get the full picture; the edited version for the commentary and the unedited for the comprehensive playthrough. But I understand the effort involved and how you probably have to compromise at some point; it's not a dealbreaker, just the only thing I can think of that argues against. That said, if the plan for the Patreon was to do a BotC video once a week every week in perpetuity, I would pay 5 times what I'm paying already. So hopefully you factor that in to your plans longer term... ;p

ML

I certainly think the intros would be useful to have in. But I agree with the above that the talking heads aren't entirely necessary in the uncut version. To me, the uncut version is the sort of behind the scenes reward we get for being patrons which is an intrinsically more intimate setting than the more polished public YouTube. And so it doesn't need the added editing. I'll probably watch both versions every time anyway ;)

ShelsDan

Rules and graphics definitely help a lot, especially for overhead shots. I do love the talking heads but understanding the need to leave them out if it makes the edit more strenuous. If nothing else, it gives me a reason to watch it twice, one here and on YT which is good for you guys

Sean Furlong

Looking forward to all the upcoming content. The added graphics score etc. would be great idea. I also on team leave the talking heads out particularly if it a lot of work.

George Parsons

Thank you for listening to the feedback, I can’t wait to see all the upcoming games you have in store. My personal preference would be to include the interview segments, so there is one definitive version we can watch and enjoy all of the content. I understand if this is too much work, either way I’m glad you’re going to include the intro and graphics!

Brett Klaczyk

I think the uncut versions are great without the talking heads; it has a more streamlined feel this way. I love the other adaptations being made, but if we want talking heads we can always just go back to the main YouTube video lol

SorceressFeraly

I think the public version was the better viewing experience, and I think that's the way it should be. The regular high-quality content is why we're onboard after all. :) I don't think the talking heads, intros or graphics are all that necessary for an uncut version, but I'd rather have the cut content as a bonus compilation of "deleted scenes" rather than watching the same video twice to both get to see all the bits and have the best initial viewing experience.

David Salt

Personally, I’m not really fussed either way with the talking heads. I can understand the appeal as it is extra content and people might feel like they’re missing out if they aren’t included on the Patreon version. But I think the uncut video flows better without them, as a continuous viewing experience

Giuseppe D'Adduzio

Well, I'd personally leave the talking heads (wow, that seems dark) out of the uncut version. I watched both, and they ring like different products to me, which is way cooler than to just have as a Patreon the same youtube video, but slightly longer. Well, that doesn't concern me, since I'm going to watch both versions, but still I vote to leave them out.

Dennis Beierholm

I really loved the uncut feel of the vid, I will likely watch both versions so I get the talking heads anyway. I say keep as is, but more graphics and rules would be nice yeah.

Sean C

The changes you mentioned are perfect. I think I prefer it without the talking heads because it feels more like sitting in on the play session, like you said, which is one of my favorite things about BGC. And no need to add a bunch more work for the editors for something that may detract from the desired feel more than add to it. Keep up the great work! Loving NRB, and looking forward to any and all new content and ideas you guys come up with!

Brittani & Justis

They are not necessary and I feel you all have done an excellent job with the extra content. Really joined to support more than for the extras anyways. Just keep up the awesome work and I’m happy!

Daniel Waldon

I started with the uncut version of Cosmic, after about 5 mins switched to the public version. Then went back and watched the uncut at a later date once id see the rules etc. I like that there's two different versions, the talking heads are great but think they belong in the more polished public version.

Joe S.

I am a completist, so I did watch both the youtube and patreon versions of cosmic, and I like the talking heads a lot. As much as I like them, I don't think they're needed in the patreon version. It gives me a reason to still give the public video a watch!

Eric Everest

I agree with Dennis. Loved the uncut the way it was. Graphics would be a nice touch but not a necessity, but definitely include the rules.

Kallum

I loved the first uncut epsiode. I think adding the intro and some graphics for stuff would help a lot so it cool to hear that is on the way. I personally don't think the talking heads stuff would add anything as since we are seeing the whole game explaining the situation to us again wouldn't make much sense.

LinzeeBee

I'd say take them out. If they want them in - watch the regular YouTube video. THANKS FOR THE AMAZONG CONTENT! xx

Bloody Good Reads

There's little need for the talking heads, I like the uncut feel to it personally but I am very happy with the addition of the rules and points as it makes the game easier to follow if you are only watching the uncut version. Keep up the awesome work!! Really interested in playing Cosmic

Bobby Hebert

I personally would like the overlays for card text, but I do understand that would require some editing. As far as the talking bits, I rather like them in the "edited" version on Youtube. Gives me a reason to watch both (which I will anyway just to see what was cut, cause I'm a nerb).

Daniel Ault

Love the changes going forward! Also ok with excluding the talking heads in the uncut version. I enjoyed both versions, but I feel like the uncut game will benefit more without them

Bobby Hebert

As someone who is the "rules explainer" for my group of folks, I can live without the rules explanation being in the uncut version, but if enough folks here want the rules at the beginning also, I can live with that too. I'm not hard to please.

Leentje dreesen

As much as I like the talking heads, I don't feel they are necessary in the uncut versions, and would actually give it less of an "uncut" feel. As already mentioned here, leaving them out will make it more a follow along with the play experience. Keep up the good work, happy to be a supporter, regardless of talking heads or no talking heads .

Sean C

Or just a general monthly best of video that includes the best or funniest clips from across NRB, like they do for WrestleTalk. Though that might be too much work for an editor, considering how long BGC and BotC games can go.

Phil Higgins

I think it would be difficult to add talking heads into the extended play and it seem natural. The main point of talking heads is to create a seamless transition between two beats. Rules and cards will be fantastic. Maybe written text versions of the rules as they are being explained mid game?

Hannah Winter

On the talking head stuff, even they required no effort whatsoever I would be against them being in the uncut version (and honestly the cut version too). It's so artificial, trying to react like what is happening in the game at that moment in time despite everyone knowing that the game is long over. It's a by product of that reality TV staple (and wasn't a fan of it on tabletop either).

Sarah Flowechild

I watched both videos and enjoyed them for different reasons. I personally liked the uncut version, the gameplay/flow wasn't interrupted, we had so many brilliant bits, and watching the full game I don't feel like the cutaways would add as much as they did in the more edited version. On a different note, I'm so proud of you guys and happy for how much you have accomplished in the past year!

Stuart Clifford

I don't think the talking heads are necessary in the uncut version, as they don't add anything new. We get to see 5 minutes of raw chat and banter about something whereas it's just reduced to a comment through the talking heads. If anything, I feel the talking heads would disrupt the flow of the uncut version. I think the talking heads are fantastic for the mainstream video as it's the closest I think we'll ever get to Wil Wheaton's Tabletop series, which was the key to bringing me into the hobby. Well done NRB for a great show and format!

Iestyn Evans

I thoroughly enjoyed both versions. I watched the uncut version first and the only thing I felt like I wanted was the intro explaining how to play before jumping into the action, so I am very happy you've decided to include the intros in future uncut versions. The talking heads were great for the more edited version but I don't feel that they would be necessary at all for the uncut. I've absolutely loved all the content you guys have put out and I can't wait to see more from all of you. Thank you!

Sean C

Totally agree. For me personally, they make it feel more reality TV and less reality. Lol

Shiiva Wilding

I love the talking heads segments, but I can watch them on the public edit on repeat viewings of the episode for something a little different to the uncut version, so I'm happy not to include them here. All I really wanted was overlays for cards and scores and we're getting those, so I'm more than happy!

simon woodward

The rules at the start would be great but other than that, I just watched the uncut version and loved the feel of just a group of friends enjoying a game, so maybe anything else could be a separate bonus video?

Seán

I loved the uncut version, some of the best banter.I think I saw someone say '5 minutes of Raw chat' and totally agree with that and prefer the banter and Raw chat. Also the in person gameplay is showing the best out of the players. No interruption, keep the bits flowing 😄😀👏

jdlznpack

I’m great with the unedited version not having the talking heads. In all honesty it doesn’t really matter to me, I’m always going to watch every singles thing you all put out

Sean C

Totally agree. It’s something I hate about reality TV that kills the “reality” of it for me. They react as if they’re in the moment, but we know it’s recorded afterward. Artificial is the perfect word for it.

Mitchel Ragan

I agree with you Adam. You having the rules and the graphics are great but the more edited stuff can stay on the YouTube version. I like the unedited feel of the Patreon version. So yeah the rules and graphics are the only thing I missed.

Mitchel Ragan

Exactly and it gives double support by us giving the watch time to the YouTube version.

Adam Gough (greasykid1)

I agree that the unedited version should just be the gaming session. Rules explanation at the start, and graphics throughout are a bonus - thank you. Talking heads are better for the YouTube version.

Dwain Brow

Personally I wanted the public version first, and the graphics totally motivated me come here and support. I'd be ok with the rules and some graphics. The talking head parts builds the moments in the edited version. I'll be happy seeing whatever comes here, i'm fairly ez tho

Saki

i personally liked the totally unedited feel, but if the graphics and rules would help people out then it's fine to include them! as long as it's not too much work for your editor of course

I SHAVED MY BALLS FOR THIS

Absolutely keep it as one continuous video, leave the cutaways for the base YouTube content. One of my favorite things about the zoom games was that you caught every side comment and listened to every semi awkward silence, and it feels more real in the end.

Cedric Just Play

Yup good with just the graphics.. keep the talking heads to the public version...

Dan

Rules at the start is the only thing I’d like to see as some games are new to us and feel part of the fun when we know what strategy people are taking. The uncut game felt immersive and fun without floating heads

Donoway

The rules would be amazing. Went to the public version to watch the roles and then came back.

Bethan & Reese

At the risk of sounding like the odd one out, its a strange feeling to lose content which is otherwise available elsewhere when watching an uncut episode, and I don't have much appetite to watch a game played twice to catch the bits which are exclusive to the public version of the video. That said I was more than happy with the video uploaded and think editorial time is something we'll worth considering

simon.dean

I agree with the others. The rules are good enough to add. If this becomes big enough where its worth getting better editing equipment and more people to do said editing then maybe we can review again then but for now its completely okay. I can always watch both versions

Nathan Kelly

I love the uncut version as is and will be even better with the card overlays and intro. I don’t mind not having the interview sections but understand that some people love them, I have seen ideas above of maybe a compilation of interviews in a separate video if possible or a best bits video, and I second this idea however like I said, I’m happy with it either way and will continue to support for as long as possible as your content is superb! REMAIN ON BOARD!!!

Ryanfuss

Glad to hear the rules and graphics will be added. The talking heads segments aren’t a priority for me personally. Nothing filmed after the fact is going to capture the excitement and humor of the gang as naturally as the real-time uncut proceedings. Keep up the great content NRB! 😁👍🏻

Lispy the Puppet

Rules intro with a few graphic touches sounds great to me, gives the option to watch the shorter talking heads version or the pure uncut version (or most likely both). I honestly would feel like there was less choice if the talking heads were to be added to both versions.

Lee Bedford

I would say, yes to the rules, yes to the graphics etc. but no to the talking heads. I liked the feel of the uncut episode, made it feel more like I was sat at the table.

Worcanna

The talking heads part kinda ruin the flow of the uncut game. I'm fine without them, and can always watch the cut version later for that part. It would also turn a maybe 2 hour video to 2:30 maybe and as much as I love long games, I think the game itself is what I'd watch at that length.

Mark Noone

The fear is that by losing the cutaways, you're missing out on some extra content. Sure it's more scripted, but it's extra banter. As someone mentions, it feels weird to be missing some content in an uncut version. Either way though, the additional rules and overlays will be plenty if it's a lot of editing work :)

Gray Carper

Rules + overlays = perfect! Confessionals are a hoot, but I love the idea of preserving the integrity of the full game experience, and I'm happy to watch the public video to (a) see confessionals and (b) help you get more ad revenue. (BTW, I'd support changing Patreon videos such that they have ads for that reason too. I want you to earn every penny you possibly can, and I don't want my Patreon dollary-doos getting in the way of that.)

Yogev Sitton

To be honest, I would also leave them out of the uncut version. The talking heads gives a directed, non authentic, reality show. It reminds me too much of the Wil Wheaton board games show on YouTube which was ok - but does not come close to what are doing and creating. I would dare to say the that talking heads almost ruins my watching experience. I'm also, obviously, exaggerating to make my point. Bottom line, I don't like the talking heads, lose them everywhere. Unless you like them and in that case keep doing what you are doing :). I will keep my pledge either way :).

selfwilledsoul

Leave the talking heads out. If anything for those that want to see them I would compile them into one video as an extra.

Jake Steffen

Personally I would say leave them out. Gives a more authentic game experience for the viewer IMO. Honestly the only thing I really would need is the "how to play" section.

Allen Tyner

Happy to hear the rules explanation will be added since I had to go watch the other video just for that. The extra graphics will definitely help follow the action as well. Agree with most of the comments that the talking heads bits aren't necessary and would break up the flow of what is supposed to be uncut footage. Maybe as a compromise just throw them all at the end of the video as an outtro kinda thing for people who just wanna hear the little extra banter?

Lex Sells Merch

Definitely could’ve used the rules explanation but at the start because the game just started and I was completely lost out the gate. I like all the additions you’re considering for the uncut version and I don’t think the talking head segments are needed for it. I’m okay with that being for the general audience on YT! But ultimately, I just want whatever you guys think is best for the channel!

ProdigalGeek

I vote for leaving the talking heads out of Uncut! Thanks for polling us, Adam and team :)

BetterThanYamcha

Leave the talking heads out. Feels more natural. We watch the uncut to watch people playing a board game properly, I think the edits with talking heads would take away from the uncut's appeal

BetterThanYamcha

100% agree with you Hannah. I get that its an incite to what's going, but alot of the time it can disrupt the flow and feel forced/corny

Dxsolo

I would agree with leaving them out , it does mean we miss out on the talking heads stuff which I didn't even know was a thing until this post and I still loved the video

Rich McCann

Leave them out. cause it gives reason to watch both. Which I will be doing.

Mihir Gupta

Personally, I think the addition of the rules + overlays is great. The talking heads is nice, but don’t think it needs to be in the uncut version. Thanks for the open dialogue!

Jamie Tuckett

I'm actually not a huge fan of the talking heads anyway, makes it feel a little bit "for TV" in a way, rather than a group of friends hanging out and playing some games. Rules explanation and overlays for sure though.

L. Colm

I'm okay without the talking heads, but def need the intro + how to play + as well as the card overlays

Sean Bavuso

I'd rather not have the talking head bits. It felt like I was watching a cheap infomercial at 3am rather than friends playing a game. I think the the "uncut" version would benefit from overlays and there may be a need for rules to be explained for those of us not watching both versions. Either way, I'm on board!

Mike Ainsley

I agree with the rules and intro being at the start. Before I watched the uncut version the top comment mentioned it would be nice to have this in place like on thr YouTube video so I pinged off to watch that there. The graphics of thr cards, timers and scores would be nice. I have not saw them kn the main YouTube channel yet but that can only be a good thing. With the talking heads I agree not having them in thr uncut as it will break the gameplay and game flow down. Watching you guys play this just made me buy the game plus 2 expansions so I think having the gameplay solid gives us a better insight to the game. Maybe give us the talking heads as a bonus video after or something? 😊

Mark Noone

Just wanted to recomment and say I think a few people have come up with an excellent idea. Add the talking heads / interviews as either an after to the main video, or as a seperate short video. No major editing required, and gives people the option to fill in the blanks for themselves.

Cameron Komondor [@Komondor412]

Personally, I’d like to get as much content as possible all in the same place. Whether that means a monthly compilation, or in the episode they belong in. I see a lot of people talking about watching both versions of each episode, which simply isn’t possible for everyone. That’s a lot of time every week, especially to rewatch something. I watched the first 20-ish minutes of the CE video on YouTube before remembering that I signed up for Patreon. I was a little disappointed that I was missing out on the confessionals. Very excited to be on board! Thanks for everything.

Reggie penn

I would say leave the talking heads out. As funny as they are it is great to just watch the natural game play...we can also watch the YouTube version with the talking heads. Brilliant work!

Marlo Ramirez

I wouldn't mind the talking heads, but the card graphics are must for me.

Hawking

To echo just about everyone else, add the rules and overlays to the uncut version but leave the 'talking head' bits out. What I like about the uncut video is that it feels like just watching some people play a game, when you start adding in cutaways it breaks the flow and makes it feel like an episode of Total Divas. Having them in the public video which is cut and maybe needs some explanation of what's happening is fine and gives us NeeeeeeeeeeeeeeRBS the option...or an excuse to watch both.

Christian Godde

Hi there, just wanted to add my opinion on the Uncut Version issue: Rules would be nice, everything else is not needed from my pov. I would not want the talking heads in the Uncut Version because I agree that it should feel more like watching a pure gaming session

Laureal94

Hey guys :D I also don't mind the talking heads parts, but I agree that they make more sense being in the cut version for YouTube - when you're getting a full gameplay video which is usually much longer, it disrupts the flow less.

Stefan Hyltén-Cavallius

I think rule explanation and graphics would be nice. Talking heads would disrupt the flow. But, and I don’t know how much job this is, it would be nice to, instead of talking heads, getting the players thoughts after the game. A similar feeling of talking heads but a summary in the ens for each player and their experince.

Tony Miller

I would like the graphics please! I can watch the talking heads on YouTube when I rewatch it.

Justin McLuckie

The talking heads are fantastic but I agree with you about them not being necessary for the Uncut version. The other edits are solid choices though. Appreciate all you guys do! Can't wait to see more! Love this channel.

Mark.A

Talking heads as a separate video, perhaps with timestamp description on which part of the uncut version it links to? Thanks for listening and reacting quickly! 🙂 Now if we can just get that discord server for nrb community botc (and other) games... 😉 (Happy to volunteer as a mod if that would help)

Josh Darby

I watched both versions of the video. I liked the talking heads, but felt like they were just replacing bits of things you cut out. Which makes sense. Like they would hit home a joke, or explain reactions, things along those lines. I would say keep the talking heads out of the full length video as they are not needed. But love the addition of the rules and the graphics on the screen.

Josh Darby

The only thing that I noticed was the audio seemed to be better balanced on the edited version as opposed to the full length version. I don't know if it was balanced different but Sully was very loud and Laurie & Blair as very quiet in the full version and I didn't have the same issue with the edited one. Love these videos and LOVE being a Patron. :)

whenitmatters

The talking heads part is really funny - i just watched the cut version. I really like it. In saying that, i understand it would be a pain to add into an uncut version.

Esmeus

For what it’s worth I think adding the rules before and adding graphics during are the missing pieces for the uncut version, so thanks for that :) As for the talking heads, it’s quite nice to have the uncut version uninterrupted. I watched the YouTube version first to get the idea of what was going on and then watched the version here to just enjoy the whole thing in full, which I suspect a lot people will be doing :)

Margie-Pargie

I think adding the game rules and graphics is a great idea. I don’t think there is a need to include the talking heads part on the uncut version as I liked watching the game with no interruptions. Love the channel! Keep up the great work!

Ka Man Chan

I'm personally a fan of the talking heads, but that's probably due to me missing Wil Wheaton's TableTop. If it adds considerable editing time, I'm okay with leaving them out. Am really glad for the rules and the graphics! (I already knew Cosmic Encounters, but I can imagine me being quite lost if I'd seen the uncut version without that knowledge.)

Samaksh Singh

I like the talking heads bit, but since it does take a considerable amount of time to edit i feel omitting it would be fine for the uncut version, i can always go back to the cut version for the bits after all :P

John Molden

I think the talking heads bits are way more suited to the shorter properly edited versions. The game rules and graphic wouldn't be too bad, i just think the graphics can be minimal. The uncut versions of the games makes them feel more raw in my opinion and you do see the more ridiculous bits and all that, i think it makes sense.

Dock Howard

small graphics for gameplay context would be greatly appreciated (you guys are too damn wonderful and charming it's hard to keep track of everything). But I don't think you need to crush the editors' time with more talking heads editing. They are fantastic to see and great on the channel where it demonstrates the skill and talent and of your entire crew to the widest possible audience but not necessary here. Ya already won us over! Thanks for asking for the input.

Level 20 Entertainment

The graphical overlays are great, and maybe talking heads for intro/outros, but in the middle of play it did feel like it was filling it the gaps on the edited video. Plus it's nice to have a little extra surprise for a bit of a different flavor when inevitably I go watch the normal version to get them views up.

GoodApolloIV

Those changes are all it was missing, imo. Thanks for being so considerate of our viewing experience!

J.R. Wall

While a rules section and graphical overlays are very much needed to keep track of scores, or attack, or what have you, especially as games get more complicated, and in many cases, longer, I very much do NOT want the talking heads in the uncut version. Less editing the better, Mr. Dunn. Keep them in the YouTube version for the casuals, as the human factor helps sell the channel to new viewers, introduces you guys to them, but for the core fanbase - the marks - I don't think it's quite as needed. We already know and love everyone at NRB.

Tom

Agree with everyone else, game rules and gameplay related graphics (cards in the case of CE) would be helpful, but the talking heads would take away from the flow of the game.

Adhdsensei

Yup, rules and graph would be very nice. For the rest they don't suit the format very well. The edit time shod be spent for making youtube video and draw some more people. We just want to see you guys more lol.

Scarbearer

I like the idea of the uncut and the edited versions being different experiences so I think it makes perfect sense for the talking heads to be part of t he edited versions but not the Uncut. What I want to know is when can we make suggestions for future Board Game Clubs or content in general. I want to start getting support to seeing all you guys go through a big Unmatched Tournament and building support for that! :)

Roberto Noorduijn Londono

Public -> talking heads to add to the comedy / tension Uncut -> no talking heads for a pure board gaming experience Graphics + counters are a helpful bonus to keep track of whats going on.

Alyssa P

I completely agree that the talking heads shouldn’t be here. Thank you so much for putting in the extra time to make these changes

Adam Musgrave

On screen graphics and the how to play intro added to the uncut version is perfect. If people really want to see the talking heads as well it's fairly easy to sift through the other video to find them, which I may well do. Thank you so much for implementing the changes so quickly and doing your best for the fans. So excited for next week!

MrMobiusKage

Hello! Adding the rules of the game at the beginning was the only thing I missed. I realized after that there were a talking heads component to the general public one, and I think it is simpler to just go watch that video if we really wanted to see them. After watching part way through the general public video, I realized I did not need it. If I feel like it is something I want to watch, I can just seek out the public video.

Ed Cook

Whilst I love the idea of a definitive addition I don't want anyone being over worked to make it happen. If possible I'd like a score counter and game rules at the beginning but I can and will re-watch the public video for the talking heads.

Lieke en Emi

Score and game rules are important. Extra comments not so

Scott Peaden

I love ya'lls content so I don't mind watching public videos for the talking heads. I think the scores would be helpful. Don't like others I don't want anyone over worked. Keep up the amazing content! GetOnBoard or well I guess Stay on Board!

J.R. Wall

I did not miss the talking heads in the long edit - at all. Thank you for adding everything else though. I think both versions are perfect for their respective purposes and that the Patreon version's pacing is better without the cut aways.

William Rosmer

I like the talking heads. But they're not critical

Joseph Cloud

Leave the talking heads for the edit. I think uncut should be just that.

That one guy I know

I don't think they add much and feel a bit forced if I am being honest.

ben rowe

Love the talking head parts and the uncut, leave it, it just means i whatch it twice :)
