Wahey! It's episode two of the newly-formatted Board Game Club, and as our way of saying thanks to our wonderful $10+ patrons, have TWO extra rounds of the game that no one else gets to see!

After reading through all your comments, the general consensus seems to be that you'd like the rules + graphics on the uncut version, but the talking heads are best left for the public version.

Your wish is our command!

Ka Man Chan

Yesssssssssssssss! Let's watch!

BetterThanYamcha

1 hour 12 mins video, and I never thought I would say this, but oh god it never feels like enough.... queue Barney Gumble: "JUST HOOK IT TO MY VEINS!"

simon.dean

Yay my tuesday afternoon plans!

Karl Zipple

The cheese is uncut, you say? Well thank goodness for that.

Keltic

Huzzah! Love the NRB crew and content!! 🧡 Sorry, didn’t mean to get all cheesy there. 😏

MZA

Well played sir... well played.

Saki

never heard of this game, but honestly you guys could play checkers and i'd watch it... so let's go!!

simon.dean

Watching tom and sully play eachother in checkers would be amazing

Saki

i have to agree! wonder how we can get that to happen...

Phil “Le Tank” Airson

Ah man this video does want to load for me! On my iPhone, anyone know how I can get this baby going?

Brett Klaczyk

I’m in the same boat mate, I’ve got the spinning beach ball of death cooking right now

Ryanfuss

Laughed possibly more during this episode than any previous BGC. Tom’s sullen, hilariously condescending and muggy narration during the sleep cycle had me howling so loud, I nearly brought the mouse down. 😂

Nathan Kelly

This had me howling!! 🤣🤣🤣

Caylin Lee

I love that they waited until they started filming for Adam and Jon to swap seats. They could've just started off in the right seats, but it was very important for the viewers to learn about Jon's weird short arms.

Scarbearer

Oh god.... This was so fun. My friends that I do Board Games with live all across the US and even overseas and while we can and do still play together online and it's lovely, man I just get warm fuzzies thinking of the good times getting to watch the NRB crew play in person together.

Sean C

This format is perfect with the graphics and rules! Thank you! Such wonderful content. Glad to be a patron.

Level 20 Entertainment

My only sadness is that Blair did not give her instructions in her sleepy mouse voice.

Billy Buehner

Sullivan going it's Blair and Tom is the accomplice...then played the nutty accomplice himself. It was absolutely brilliant! Glad I am a patron...would hate to have missed just a little bit. Thank you Adam and crew.

ML

My other half has now watched me recoil in pain at the snatching of defeat from the jaws of victory in both BotC and Cheese Thief. Truly this channel is the gift that keeps on giving. And possibly the reason for my eventual divorce.

Shiiva Wilding

Format is perfect, and not knowing what's coming is fantastic. During the zoom era, it was very much 'I wonder when they'll play this game for a second time, they've played all the other games twice!' but now... now there's thousands of games to choose from, it's just about your professional and personal schedules, and those aren't public knowledge, huzzah!

Allen Tyner

This game looks really fun, great video. Might have to pick up a copy for my upcoming 8 player game day.

Jessica Cox

Even though I’m terrible at them my group love social deduction games. Just might have to give this one a go.

Bob Tallman

Am I wrong or are there 3 extra rounds - Tom, Blair, and Jon as narrators? Super extra bonus!

Lex Sells Merch

Toms passive aggressive narration during the night phase was everything lol he’s always my favorite in the NRB crew! Also, the “I’m Spartacus” bit during the last round is fantastic 😂

Kyle Carnett

I remember the very first BotC episode, Tom was the Monk. I remember thinking "this guy's voice is really monotone. Does he get excited?" Now *I* get excited every time he's on a BGC, and was thrilled to see him play the demon in the patreon BotC game! I have the same fondness for Tom as I do Sully, just in very different ways.

Yogev Sitton

This game looks like nothing I would want to play but watching the NRB crew play it was pure pleasure. I can't even point to one round I would cut out, not mentioning TWO :O. Patreon money well spent :). Saying that, now I'm kind of curious about the talking heads when both Sally and Laurie missed the cheese! I guess I'll go get your YouTube views up on the regular video as well :)

Ryanfuss

Yes, I love Tom’s understated honesty to the games he plays. BOTC storytelling is clearly his absolute jam and he’s learning a lot off Daddy Ben each session they share hosting. Games like these Tom brings a Ron Swansonesque hubris, he’s excellent. Sully is by default the vicarious noob newcomers to board gaming (like myself) live through. The fact he wins BOTC quite frequently and the recent Cosmic Encounter sesh, is extra sweet for us rookies. 😁

Jack Archer

So, it might be just the second episode since the Patreon's launch, but you've already nailed the perfect format! Having extra rounds on the uncut eps gives us a fantastic incentive as Patrons, but keeping the talking heads on the edited episode encourages us to watch both versions and not just stick to the larger product. This was a brilliant move and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in future episodes!

Adam Musgrave

This is great. Sully and Laurie being so confident that the cheese was there! Different kind of format to anything you've played previously, advantages of having you all together in person of course. Format is perfect now after the slight tweaks. Can't wait for more, this is just the beginning!

Adam Gough (greasykid1)

Warms my heart to see the cards sleeved. :) Also, GREAT Eric Summerer impression, Adam!
