I've been very eagerly awaiting this episode. I've gone back and forth on whether to buy this expensive game for months. It looks so good and captures a lot of what I love in board games, but I haven't had a chance to try it out myself yet. It's hard to buy a game that pricey without trying it at least once first. BUT watching the NRB crew play through a game is almost as good (if not often better) than playing through it myself, so this episode may decide whether I finally buy it.

Not a big fan of screwing someone over for no reason. If you want to play a story game Tales Of Arabian Nights is fun. It is not much of a game more choose your own adventure.

I looked forward to this playthrough so I could learn how to play Western Legends. I laughed so much, I forgot most of the rules immediately. :)

Appreciate that games have winners and losers, but deliberately screwing someone over for no reason is hard to watch. Had some fantastically funny moments, but watching completely illogical play is painful..

What people forget sometimes is that NRB plays for the bit as much as for the victory. Seeing as how Brooke going full Hiccup made for a more entertaining game overall, everyone won in the end.

I don’t see how it was for no reason… He was the opponent in that area who was the furthest ahead. It’s also just… funny? And games are supposed to be fun, which this is as long as no one is overly obsessed with winning.
