The boy, the boy!!

Sullivan is back in your ears with another sumptuous episode of Are You Evil?! This time around he's interviewing friendly neighbourhood Ent, Tom Burgess, about all things tabletop.

Expect a lot of RPG chat.

This convo genuinely makes me want more Tom GM'd rpg content on the channel

Miguel Martinez

I would like an RPG game with Pete, Tempest, Blair, Laurie, Adam and Luke (as an outlier) with Tom as the GM where they play as Pokémon Trainers please 🥹🥹🥹

Steve Pellikaan

I want to move to London and play games with you all.

ProdigalGeek

Love that minute long laughter at the end!

PARADOX MEDIA

Absolutely. I'm sure cost is likely the only reason, but so many members of the team play D&D, I can't believe they haven't at least experimented with a one-off.

Angau

I know they've done CBW on PFK and that was a blast. But I'd love to see some proper D&D style games that they make a mini series out of. One of those things I've wanted to get into but never really got around to

Fernando

What is Tom's business email for RPG requests? ":)

Beth

Brooke would also need to be there as someone who knows nothing about Pokémon. Everyone else has to play with real Pokémon using real moves, whereas Brooke gets told the name of a Pokémon and then has to make up what it looks like and what it can do.

Beth

I’m a mental health nurse about to start training as a family intervention therapist. I’ve used board games as part of nursing therapy in the past and it has amazing results. I love the idea of RPGs for family therapy.

Michael

Literally a few posts down.

Brad

That board game highs game sounds like it'd make an awesome board game club episode

Arthur Gijzen

Toms laugh is absolutely fantastic!

Michelle Katz

I'm a psychotherapist, and would like to incorporate boardgames and RPGs into my practice. Any advice on how I can learn more about this?

Matt

That 'Creamland engineer' line almost had me in tears, brilliant epiosde!

Roger

My daughter loved “Go 8 Bit”, so Tom rose even higher in her esteem listening to this.

Sam

The Fridgeman/son relationship reminds me of Everything Everywhere All At Once!

Jesse Ellis

I love Tom. I wish they would bring a TTRPG campaign series onto NRB, with Tom DM'ing of course. Once every month or two would be great.

Sean C

Have you watched CBW? It's their wrestling themed TTRPG series over on their PartsFUNknown channel. Tom is the GM, and he's great. Highly recommended!

Jesse Ellis

I'll definitely check it out, thanks. I am really enjoying Dom running the Call of Cthulhu game currently too.

Shirini

The fridge game you talk about and the relationship to the kid fridge reminds me of the movie Everything everywhere all at once.
