Again, I know this has been a stressful time for NRB/WT, and I am deeply grateful for everyone behind the scenes' hard work, but a post about things like BotC, (which I know a lot of fans, not just myself, joined Patreon in large part to see - though I personally am here for every bit of bonus content possible - I love it all so much! <3 ) the Unboxed podcast that seems like it's also not appearing this month, and the monthly Zoom game (as there's been no monthly poll for that for Sep, either, so I'm not sure there's actually going to be a September game..) and whether those things are or aren't going to continue, would mean a tremendous amount. Getting this video early is a treat that is dearly appreciated, but I also don't want to stay on Patreon another month hoping/waiting anxiously for content that's possibly no longer coming.. doing so would turn me off of being a part of NRB's Patreon in the future - not being told what's going on with Patreon based content that I thought had been promised monthly for the rest of this year feels rough. Again, I understand if things this month have caused certain bonus content to disappear for the time being, and I'm not trying to complain, just to explain how I and likely at least some other Patreons feel <3 I absolutely LOVE NRB (I wouldn't pay for Patreon if I didn't.. I can't afford the cost easily, yet I've been on NRB's Patreon for over a year without missing a single month because the content means that much to me <3 ) and I don't plan on going anywhere, but if I stay on Patreon through Sep and nothing is explained and none of the normal bonus content happens, I will almost definitely be unsubbing.. the controversy with a certain cast member would never cause me personally to leave, but not being told what's going on with content that myself and other Patreons count on feels sad.

I genuinely feel badly about posting the above, but there was quite a lengthy update earlier this week that mentioned several upcoming board game club videos in which Patreon-based content could've been addressed.. that's what's extra throwing me, as it makes me feel like some of the Patreon content is potentially being phased out.. a post from someone at NRB with an update about Patreon content would mean so much <3

The August monthly BGC was released on August 5. I might be reading this wrong, but Concept was released earlier in the month and wasn't skipped (just confused because you mentioned the Sept. poll and I thought you meant August had been skipped too). I don't think Unboxed has a fixed release date so that may still be coming. Last month it was released on the last Friday. The month before it was mid month. I think it's important to remember that employee issues aside, it's Fringe until Monday and if bulk recorded content was no longer usable because of the employee issue, re-recording right now is likely a lot harder for BotC this month. It may also mean they are wrangling folks for BotC and BGC for 9/1 when the Fringe crew is free. Aside from that though, I don't think it's clear that anything else is gone or even not hitting this month. It's not uncommon for exclusive polls to go up on the 28th or later of a month, for example. It's not uncommon for the Podcast to come out on the 30th. They may not have addressed it because it genuinely may be a situation where there is no real change. Until August is over, it seems premature to assume any content is missing or gone beyond BotC this month. We've missed episodes podcasts before because of tech issues and they've eventually made it up to subscribers. For me, this is another example of needing to wait rather than assuming there is something happening.

Just got to the penguin, and I can't help noticing that its special ability makes it easier for them to smuggle money to the west, and its win condition...gains absolutely no benefit from smuggling money to the west? That's...um...brilliant! What pure brilliance, comrade!

Can I make a suggestion of an additional subjects for Cards: 1) "Hunt for Red Ocktober" - You were responsible for giving a new sub the necessary upgrade so the state could monitor it, however, you put in the wrong frequency, so when it went active it disappeared off the screen and could be tracked by the enemy, go directly to jail and pay 200 rubles immediately, if you do not have the funds you disappear. 2) Teri the Terrible?: You were at an international summit where you "Accidently" ended up drinking sherry with the French Ambassador, Teri, you forget the surname, unfortunately, you were caught, you plead innocence stating you were just have a friendly drink, however, the ambassador complains about your conduct and you are sent to a Gulag, if you have properties, you lose them and miss 2 turns, if not you disappear. 3) Whoa, take 'er easy there, Pilgrim - You have gotten lost and ended up at a John Wayne Film Festival, throw a die, if you get an odd number, you will meet Stalin and he will give you 50 rubles, get an even number and Stalin (Dom) will require you to give your best John Wayne impression, if Stalin (Dom) likes it you survive and can choose a property, if they don't you lose your properties and go to jail. 4) I spy with my little eye?: You are at Passport control office and they have identified your passport as suspect, roll a die, get an odd number and they have noticed that the staples are poor quality metal and have rusted, gain 50 rubles and choose a player to disappear, get an even number, you are deemed a spy and disappear. 5) A deal too far?: You are in charge of negotiating a new deal for a well known soft drink to operate in the state. However, you realise that the state has no money or rather you have no authority to provide money, give the opponent to your right 100 rubles or the deal collapses, Stalin is embarrassed, you are sent to jail and must get 2 doubles to get of jail rather than the one Thoughts?

"whether those things are or aren't going to continue" I'd guess that they don't yet have answers to those questions. I imagine that they're scrambling to try to figure out how to resolve things and try to make everyone happy. (Or as many people as possible, or anyone at all...)

They also may not be questions that need to be answered. Other than BotC that should have come out today (and was replaced with Communopoly), nothing has been missed in the month of August and the few things that haven't been released (Sept poll, Unboxed) could still be released this week before August 31st. Patreon will require that they update memberships if there is a change, but this seems like a lot of premature assumptions asking for things to be addressed that may not be issues.

There have been issues in the past where things were missed for normal reasons (tech issues and youtube upload issues, for example) and I've never not seen the team make it up to the subscribers. Fringe ends on Monday. That may have made re-recording a BotC this month difficult, but it may mean they will add it to next month. Patreon does require creators to announce tier changes (been through many with other channels). There's nothing to suggest BotC is gone on any kind of permanent basis.
