Hello NeRBs!

WHAT? NEW CAST? Look at NRB growing!

For this new edition of Board Game Club, we welcome Lorna Rose Treen for a game of Paranormal Detectives! Our wonderful cast will play as, you guessed it, PARANORMAL DETECTIVES!

A truly terrible accident has happened and Laurie has unfortunately been turned into a ghost. The investigators will have to ask our ghastly ghost questions about the circumstances of their death so our detectives are able to figure out what happened to the spirit (how, who, why, where and WEAPON).

Once a scenario has been established, investigators will have two guesses to find out the exact wording of the incident or murder.

This is such a fun little game!

PS: We apologise for the main shot missing, the footage also had a terrible accident. It now haunts us as ghost footage.

Love,

Teri x

What's with the random Adam audio over the talking heads? *Edit* It's on all the talking heads it seems.

Chris Hay

Audio issue that has adam telling me he's here at 12:40??

Lee Dellbridge

Talk about paranormal Dom was possessed by Voldemort at one point.

moldex

Adam's also there at ~19:00 lol

Emily Hogarth

Halloween episodes being haunted by Adam...

Lee Dellbridge

It feels like a rib on him or something lol

David Green

Hmmmm interesting talking heads this week…

moldex

The intro to Thunder Road took a lot of takes

Catherine Heywood

Why can't I play this - it's saying the video is private???

NPR

Yikes - spooky private ghost show!!!

NoRollsBarred

Hello everyone, the Talking Heads have exported strangely again this week and we are going to work on the issue and re-upload the UNCUT version tomorrow. We are very sorry - we have been experiencing big tech issues...

Lee Dellbridge

Well that's disappointing but not surprising it cut off and is unwatchable.

Lee Dellbridge

The talking heads had Adam introducing us to nrb instead of proper audio. So it got removed while I was watching it :(

Icy_Naomi

I've been a patreon since they launched and I think this is my last month we are 3 months behind on BOTC and they mention nothing about it and it feels like our exclusive content is like a fourth of what we used to get. I love this channel I want it to succeed, but this is my last month on this platform unless there are drastic changes for the better. Thank you for everything you guys do.

Jason

Shiny & chrome! SO good to see a new face 🥰

Ben Spencer

They did mention when adam was let go that they had to scrap all of the BoCT content they had. It takes time to get that sort of thing organised, especially when a majority of the cast are also working on other channels. The channel is going through a lot of change atm, if you don't feel like your getting your moneys worth then absolutely you would be right to cancel. Just give them a little bit of time though.

Will B

They have mentioned it, they are trying. Unfortunately with cast availability, plus all the stuff that happened, there were issues with PDI, scheduling issues, they are behind.

Thominatorx7

Thanks for the update 😀 👍

4.I.S

Yeah that was a little weird… almost seems a bit in poor taste with the whole Adam and Carly incident

Jake Steffen

thank you for the update, tech issues tend to suck hope you can get it figured out!

J. Walker

They did mention it and explained why it was canceled, and they did a bonus Nemesis episode and an early release of The King's Dilemma to make up for it.

Micah Newby

Care to elaborate since the videos private now and they won't be there when it's made unprivate? Were they talking about Adam or something?

Fernando

Not letting me view it. Odd.

Micah Newby

I don't think it was a deliberate rib, I'm guessing more likely they had to "Henry Caviezel's mustache in Justice League" the presence of Adam's voice during the talking heads. Probably will be resolved when the video gets re-released

Icy_Naomi

They mentioned it once and basically said they would be backtracking all the missed content this was a month ago.

SueAnne Hamel

Thanks for the update! I’ll just watch the edited version first this go around!

Matthew Potter

Just for those that were late, the Adam audio playing over all the talking heads segments (for the entire vid) is an UNEDITED version of him introducing his (at least for now) last BGC, Thunder Road Vendetta. He first welcomes us to Draughts before correcting himself to NRB studio, stumbles over the game developers names and goes on explaining the rules to the game, although he does restart many sentences, striving for perfection. As a video/audio editor, I'm perplexed how this has happened, especially on just the Patreon version. For the theorists out there, no this is not a tease or purposely done for an Adam return.

Jennifer Gray

At first I thought the talking heads audio was meant to be some sort of sinister paranormal activity!

Lindsay M.H.

They did mention it and they replaced it with other content for the time being. Nemesis was the replacement for missed BotC. The only promised content is 1 BotC per month, 1 BGC, and 1 podcast.

Lindsay M.H.

The unedited version of the show is edited now to add in the talking heads after that was requested so presumably the wrong audio was imported on the talking heads.

Steve Pellikaan

It says that the video is private. Did you have to take it down for some reason?

Zoe Foster

Also if you have a look at the statement that the Pandemonium Institute released, they aren’t partnering with NRB until everything is sorted out, policy changes are made if necessary, that kind of thing. Because of that I wouldn’t expect any BOTC from NRB for a while.

Icy_Naomi

I did not know they made a statement themselves. Thank you for sharing that I will look into it but still I mainly subbed for the BOTC and the uncut BGC and I feel like the BGCs have been super hit and miss.

Lindsay M.H.

There was an audio issue. I'm guessing they'll fix it tomorrow.

Adam Wardrop

Will need to wait till someone at NRB is awake and they can make the video available :)

NoRollsBarred

TERI: Hello everyone, the audio issue has been fixed! Sorry about the inconvenience.

Luigi Scazzari

Another case where Dom and his massive intellect got robbed of a victory by a bunch of babbling buffoons (ghost included). :D #TeamDom #DomWasRight

Danny

Welcome to the team Lorna! What a fantastic fit. Very funny. Feels like you’ve been playing games with these guys the whole time.

Lee Dellbridge

Thought we might get a notification it was fixed lol

yaMboiler

I love to see (and miss seeing) Rosie on NRB but, my WORD, is it maddening to watch her play deductive reasoning/interpretation games 🤯 what a unique and fascinating mind she has.
