It's me again, NeRBs!

Something wicked this way comes as we have prepared another lovely treat (with no tricks!) for Halloween.

Thought this might come today after Holly was talking about it. Just wish I could get into Nemesis. That's 4 different episodes I would have now but yeah it feels just too complicated for me to follow.

They're not coming back, but they know that telling people that would be controversial and upset people (and probably lose them quite a few patrons), so they just keep ignoring it and hoping people will stop asking.

Copying over my comment from YouTube: For Daddy Dom: From Red Dwarf Series (not Season, as we're British, not American) 3, Episode 3, "Polymorph": Rimmer : Erm, I think we're all beginning to lose sight of the real issue here, which is: what are we going to call ourselves? And I think it comes down to a choice between "The League Against Salivating Monsters," or - and this is my personal preference - "The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society." Erm, one drawback with that - the abbreviation is C.L.I.T.O.R.I.S.

Great fun! You're only supposed to remove noise for corridors NOT connected to rooms with characters, which is why no aliens came out for ages. I'd love to see you play on the reverse side of the board where you can go on the mars surface and move the rover between buildings. Tiny rules things: BUPower starts face-up with no exploration token; you take a contamination card for any melee attack; taking an egg from the nest involves a noise roll; cave plans involves an attack plus a noise roll; main gate doesn't open for alert (but opens on first player death); you are never safe from autodestruct as even if it is beyond the alert token (or time track) the base is considered to have exploded at game end (you can't work this out from the terrible rulebook though)

I'm fairly certain that TPI, including Daddy Ben are no longer going to work with NRB brcause of the controversial issue with Adam. But no one is saying that outright yet.... So we wait until they do

Spoilers but If Holly had decided to risk it and go into the isolation pod without checking her contamination card. Sully would have needed to break the base and either escape to the bunker or in a CSS pod to complete his objective, so it was very lucky for him that she didn’t take the risk.

Also destroying a door doesn't remove it from the board but instead has you lay it down to represent it is broken and cannot be closed normally. And Sully passed at the start but then played again next turn

I haven’t finished the video, but shouldn’t tokens drawn during bag development go immediately back in the bag? I’m halfway through the video and see the queen token is just sitting there on the table after being drawn as part of bag development early on. Which makes it frustrating to watch as they’re sitting there talking about how easy the game is. I could just be getting the rules mixed up with base Nemesis though!

3 months of paying for BOTC and never getting it when they promise it each month. We are not going to be compensated, so ya, if they are entitled to our money then we get to be entitled too.

You are correct. The Larva and Creeper get removed, while all others get replaced in the bag. They also made it a lot easier on themselves with the noise removal. Which is supposed to happen only in powered sections, in corridors not connected to Rooms with Characters. It still was a fun game to watch tho.

Okay, this is like 4 months later, but I just got around to watching this one and this comment was bugging me. You can see Sully return the Queen token to the bag after drawing it (around 42 minutes). You can also, if you look really hard, see a *spare* Queen token on the table in front of Sully in certain shots, which is why when there's a close up of that area when Sully draws an adult token around halfway through the video, it seems like the Queen token maybe isn't in the bag. I can't speak to any of the other rules lol, but that one bugged me because I was so certain I had watched Sully put the token back.

Not finished watching but got to say loving it so much! Love these 5 as the long play crew (From both Nemesis and Kings) All I will say is the background music was so distracting and loud.

i would watch if you guys did another one the noise removal error and the luck you guys had from the intruder bag made it too smooth of a ride for a nemesis playthrough :P

As a Yorkshireman, I have to say that Dom's outrageous character work in this game was over the top, miserly and self centered. Which is exactly as a Yorkshireman should be. What a thespian that man is!

For rules, when hopping through the vents via the character cards, the 2nd part of the card says to take an attack from an adult when you do the move. I noticed that part got missed a few times.
