Our Skyy 2 - Bad Buddy x 1000 Stars - Episode 1

Other than Ohm’s shirt being off for a good bit of the episode, I was just power-cringing through this. Phupa and Tian just acting like kids? Pass.

i mean they always have bickered its their thing plus i understand both parties

As a HUGE fan of 1000 Stars and Earth and Mix, I am enjoying the crossover. However, as a fan of Bad Buddy, I do feel that the focus is heavily on Phu and Tian which leaves very little room for sweet moments between Pat and Pran. (Maybe that will change next episode) But that may be for the best because I do feel that the chemistry has suffered between these two gifted actors (Ohm and Nanon). Their talent is very much still present, but I am sad to say their chemistry is not. I will continue to support them individually. Double Savage was amazing!!! I tried to watch Nanon's individual projects, but I didn't enjoy them. I don't know what happened between them in real life (if anything), but it makes me sad to think that their friendship may have suffered. As a fan, all I can do is support their work! Just my opinion!

Ok I guess I’ll be the sourpuss…IDK. I didn’t like this 2nd crossover ep as much as the first one. I mean it started off strong and even up to the end of the 3rd segment when Tian and Phi were walking from karaoke…but the final segment was kinda cringey to me. I will say tho I the walk back from karaoke reminded me of EM’s drunken walk through the alleys on MLC. Don’t know what is it about Earth and Mix and moonlight, but it works every time 😂

I have mellowed just a little. Still dislike the crossover. There is just not enough use of imagination as in the episode for "Never Let Me Go." Two kids from Bangkok show up and the are accepted like Thai royalty! Bologna!

Oops. In addition, too many throwbacks to TOATS. -Yod's jeep breaking down, the reference to the forest ranger's shirt, the challenge between Pat and Phu (like between Tian & Phu), the singing "contest". The cheesy scene with Pat & Phu sleeping together. (The shirtless scene was yummy). The script has no originality or imagination. This was suppose to be Bad Buddy dual episodes. The only thing I got out of it was that this takes place after Tian's return from America.

I was smiling the whole episode, the nostalgic feeling was awesome. Also I have to say I was secretly flying the flag on the ghost ship for PranTian.

To me this was the best story so far!! This is coming from a person that didn’t like bad buddy but I really love this crossover. It’s so good. But I heard that earth and mix won’t get their own story because it’s just gonna be the bad buddy and thousand stars together which I think that’s not fair. they are amazing actors and deserve their own episode.

I kinda wish we had gotten two separate eps for each couple; especially since it’s our last chance to see Ohm/Nanon and it’s also likely to be a while before we see Earth/Mix again. ..overall I’d say the episode was not bad just not as good for me as the 1st and the preview for next week I guess looks interesting…but doesn’t matter I’m in until the end because I love both acting couples and while the story may not be 100% working for me, at the very least, their chemistry is def chemistry-ING🙂

I think they brought Earth/Mix in earlier to 1 give them more screen time and they are the ‘main’ couple and to help the situation on set with Ohm/Nanon. There are things no matter how many contractural terms or favors asked from your mentors, you just can’t ‘act’ your way out. I think it was a good move not giving them many truly romantic scenes that could be uncomfortable.

Vita

I hope they send BadBuddy story back to BKK on the next episode and then we will have at least one final episode where 100 starts resolved their issues.

Wehehe! I'm not usually one to say no to shirtless scenes (lol), but I also found Pat's flexing and showing off his body a bit unnecessary. 👀😅

John Marquez

Definitely they did the crossover to help ease the tension between Ohm Nanon. Something really happened between these two, and if you have 2 couples interacting in the episode, it wouldn’t be that much awkward.

TitaJosie

Yeah Pat and Pran really feel like an afterthought in the crossover, even in their scenes alone without Chief Phu and Tian. Oh well. It is what it is. 👀😬

TitaJosie

I liked this episode, but I'm a bit iffy about the next one. Like really, a tiger is what Chief Phu is worried about? He fought armed smugglers in the original series, and he's worried about a tiger? 🐯👀😝

TitaJosie

Wehehe! Personally, I could have done without Pat & Pran. They're really not adding much to the crossover episodes, tbh. 👀😬

TitaJosie

I thought that the part about Tian's disappointment in Chief Phu's not wanting to have anything to do with Tian's family was an interesting point that they could have explored better if they didn't have to spend time figuring out something for Pat & Pran to do. Lol. Oh well. 👀😬😅

TitaJosie

Yeah, I have to agree about it being better to have separated their stories. The crossover seems like a great idea, but the execution hasn't been the greatest, even though I do overall kinda like it. 💖

TitaJosie

I do kinda feel for Ohm and Nanon. I get the sense that they were doing this out of contractual obligation rather than because they genuinely wanted to work with each other again. 👀😬

Vita

Yes, it was actually said that they did it because P’Aof asked them to ‘wrap up’ the hit they had in a positive note. So I found it reasonable how the prod, in exchange lessen the intensity of their portion.

Larry I Conley

I understand better now why the crossover which I didn't know about beforehand. I feel bad about my comment for episode 1. I feel for Ohm and Nanon also. I did see a video, I thought at an awards ceremony, where something went wrong between them. Sometimes you tend not to believe rumors about couples. I think many people want to assume that BL couples are real boyfriends. Fandom can be a lot to tolerate. I think a few of us can understand how painful break ups can be even if all you were was just friends. My only fear is that this situation may have significantly altered the planned episode for "1000 Stars".

TitaJosie

Yes, it seems as though things really have soured off-screen for them for some reason. Hopefully they'll work through it eventually, but they need time apart to do their own things. 💖
