We published the vertical edit yesterday, on our Instagram, where it's already had over 700k views and 8,000+ shares; and our Facebook, where it's had over 400k views. And our Tiktok.I held off on posting it on Patreon until I could share the YouTube version, which we just published. I assumed most of you prefer the traditional horizontal edit. Landscape orientation also does a much better job of showing what an incredibly beautiful place the Kimberley is. But I'm curtious to know: in future, would you rather I shared with you whichever version we publish first? This is the third HGA we've made about Western Australia as part of "Project Let's Make Ourselves Useful Since We Moved to WA". After our HGAs about Woodside and Alcoa/Forest Mining, we had a LOT of requests to cover one more case of severe fuckery in WA... the proposal to start fracking in the Kimberley. As always, thank you for making it possible for us to respond to requests for help from people who are fighting to defend what's left of the wild. The Kimberley is one of the few remaining pristine places in Australia, home to the planet's largest intact tropical savannah. So it's fair to say this proposal is utter fuckery.The only thing standing in it's way is the approval of our federal Environment Minister.
