Dear PatronsHere's the preview for our next Honest Government Ad!This is part of our climate and energy policy series, in which we're singling out each of our Government's strategies for prolonging the fossil fuel era by doing as little as possible about the climate crisis (applies to many other governments too).I'll share more thoughts about the topic when we publish the video, so I'll keep this short because I want to finish editing the video.I was planning to publish this HGA today. Unfortunately on the weekend my head had a violent encounter with an overhead cupboard door which left me bleeding quite significantly with ongoing headaches. I'll go to the doctor and get it checked out soon - but first I need to get this HGA out! So if the video is only out in the first day or two of September, you know why. In light of the above I'm sharing the preview with all of you so that everyone gets some new Juice before the end of the month. (As always a reminder that this is just the audio track - some parts of it will only make sense when you can see the visuals!)I'll catch you very soon with the finished video - either tomorrow or the day after. Oh… gawd, I can't wait for this one to be released! I can't applaud loudly enough! The utter shitfuckery of CCS needs to be exposed far and wide, for it's nothing more than a ploy by the fossil fools to make even more ching ching while the world burns. And I'm glad you mentioned energy wasteful H2 toward the end, which is yet another petrol ploy. They lie that it's "clean," simply so they can SELL it to you rather than letting you get your "fuel" for free from your rooftop. Oh, and I sure hope your head heals quickly! Did one of ScoMo's agents sneak in and leave that cupboard door open? Wouldn't put it past them at this point.

I watched a video last night that showed this so called climate crisis has been happening since the Earth was formed. In fact, droughts first started in the Triassic period, before dinosaurs, and change around about every 27.5 Million years. We are safe though, we still have around 20 million years to go before the next severe weather turn around. The moon is actually moving away from the earth at a rate of 1.52 inches per year. in another 100,000 years, the sun will push the moon back towards earth till it collides with earth. Climate changing has been happening since before human life existed, we have made no difference to the climate, and we never will, it is earth own nature setting the pace.

Oh wow I didn't know you worked in CCS! I really want this technology to work and I am especially hopeful about direct air capture CCS. But yes, totally agree with you about needing technologies that's ready to go right now - it's not like we don't have any!

Many years ago I gave a speech at the Society of Engineers in Canberra in which I said, in an offhand manner, that CCS was "science fiction" — after my speech I opened the floor for questions and was inundated with CCS goons out and out stating that I was wrong / evil / an idiot etc for suggesting that. It took about ten minutes of return questions about their actual projects for them to grudgingly accept that no their CSS dreams were mostly only successful in very small test examples and none of them had actually been able to get it to work at any kind of real scale. That was over ten years ago though and I expect that some progress has actually been made since - but how much money has been pissed away that could have gone into proper renewable energy production. The Govt's totally corrupt way these days is just to find any excuse to push $$$ into their mate's pockets. Alas the opposition is almost as useless. I mean look at the Vic govt approving fracking at the 12 Apostles site for an example of that. I truly despair. So thanks for at least giving us a laugh as the world slides into chaos and oblivion.

I think there are many people working in these areas (and technologies) that have the heart in the right place. Where there is money, there is greed (sadly), and I try hard to ensure our company focuses on the purpose, rather than the $ opportunity. It’s a long battle and I often feel like I am a drop in the ocean.. and then someday - like today (thank you Juice Media), I feel like I am the ocean in one drop.

Millions of scientists are actually fed up with the lies being spread by actors pretending to be scientists. Definitely not enough research and developement with the vaccine to know how safe it will be in 5, 10 or 20 years time. The only way to stop the spread is 100% world lockdown, but too many idiots won't stay at home.
