Dear PatronsHere's the preview of our next Honest Government Ad. Yes - already! I wanted to get this one out as soon as possible given the topical subject, so I got straight to work on it after our previous one.Am hoping to publish it tomorrow if I can put all the finishing touches on the edit tonight. As always, feedback is warmly welcomed. (Just remember that some things will only make sense when you can see the visuals!)I'll catch you soon with the video.

"....so as things fall apart" 😭😭😭 no suggestions, good work legends. Love the sign off at the end too

Robert Bismuth

Spot on as always! I particularly like the new Department authorizing the message! Can't wait to see the video for the whole message ...

Param Berg

Insurance industry saw it coming - that's why so many people who lost their home and /or their business couldn't afford insurance and had none. Suckers! Executives and big shareholders doing fine, thanks.

MacheteGirlMagazine

So good guys! Somehow you always manage to hit the right issue.

Thanks Giordano and Juice crew To be honest events have been so visceral and full on for many around the northern rivers even hearing all this stirs up emotions. With footage it will probably elicit even more It's actually still a creeping huge disaster for many around having anywhere to live and be, to deal with the mess. Not sure if some will be able to find much humour in it yet, but perhaps consideration in the truth of how people feel about the situation. Made totally worse by years of government, state and fed, denial, lack of care or capability to prepare and to help it citizens. The good is how people have stepped up to look after each other and literally save each other in many cases. Be good to see an acknowledgement of how just people within and from outside the community have really stood up when the govt preparedness and response was so crap All the best

Ken Weeks

Very well put together.

Ash Brown

wonderfull as soon as I see it out I'll share it with everyone I know

thejuicemedia

Thank you Peter for the thoughtful comment. I hear you. Am going to send you a DM shortly!

And the inheritors' class action was overturned today in favour of that numerology freak. I'm not surprised, just sad. Thanks for the laugh always.

Kim Hillier

If only our government did what we needed, I'd be willing to chip in a regular tithe from my income. Probably call it #gofundallofus.tax. Oh yeah, we have that already.

Kim Hillier

I stopped insuring ten years ago this year. Back then my home and contents premium even with evidence of being flood and fire proof on a ridge with regular fire mitigation burns, low fuel loads, 50 metre fire break, was going to be $3500 per year. Just cyclones and I'm 30km from the coast. The trees show I get mostly the 6 to 12 winds coming from the south and west. I tell southerners to retrofit their homes with cyclone upgrades to Cat 3, especially tile roofs. Most of them ask why. So many people not getting it. Check your council masterplan for hazard and risk maps. Plan accordingly. Don't rely on council - they're the ones with the flood and fire maps, and still approve buildings. wtf.

Paul Gunner

Love the hit on Chevron. Wait for their moral outrage.

John L Smith

Thanks Juice Media - on target again. Well done. Looking forward to the video

Mark D Larsen

Sooooo good! Can't wait to spread this around. "Get fuckin' used to it" is as Honest a Government Ad as we've ever seen. And the Department of Thoughts and Prayers is spot on, mates! I expect that next Chevron and ScoMo will issue a statement that, if Australians don't like them releasing carbon emissions into the atmosphere, they can simply put their tailpipes inside their cars. 😵

Quintessential Juice Media - just what everyone needs right now. Short to the point and covers so much. I am going to say the complete fuckuppery of response to the floods JUST before an election has me a bit baffled to be honest. Even as a way to protect THEMSELVES letting this complete incompetence and mind boggling failure drag on is shooting themselves in the foot (i hope - fuck!) this in any sane world would sink them But i am not sure we are still in a sane world anymore. Anyway the work is brilliant and i am looking forward to the visuals and Kudos for getting it out so fast.... so much is happening so much is concurrent choosing exactly what to focus on must be getting harder!!! Sending love in the days before Nuclear Armageddon. I kid. Sorta.

Dan Stefanich

Totally awesome! Down to the quick little details. Power packed.

poorfellamycountry .

What percentage of politicians are being blackmailed? Its the only explanation.

ess

Yep the "Get Fuckin Used To It" tag will be increasingly useful I think to capture and summarise the M.O of the current mob - forcing Aussies towards greater 'adaptation' as a way of keeping genuine prevention measures off the table.

ess

Perhaps the additional point to bring out in future is how it has suited the major donors for recent PMs to have retreated almost entirely from international engagement - the one thing essential in order to address global issues.

You mention Beetaloo Basin, and I notice this morning that a certain "Russian Oligarch" who is involved in that project has escaped government sanctions, along with another one involved with Gladstone. Ho Hum- just more of the same crap from this government. Back to the ad; yes I like it. But how about adding a bit at the end that reminds us of a weapon we have at our disposal on Polling Day- "Put the Sitting Member Last!" Let's face it, both sides of politics consistently against our best interests, because they both accept "donations" from the same people who make profits from stuffing our country up. Yes, I know that this can be a bit problematic, but doing the same old thing each time we vote hasn't helped much either. If we decide to "Put the Sitting Member Last" on our ballot papers, then we might "Keep the Bastards Honest."

Strepto42

Disturbing amount of deja vu in this one. I guess now that I've been directly affected by the Brisbane floods I just have to get fucken used to it! Biting and timely as always Giordano. Love your work. I would have offered you some nice drone footage of the disaster up here but alas I wasn't home to take any...

thejuicemedia

No worries Mark, I'm just glad to know you're safe. Sorry that you've been affected by the floods

Strepto42

Thanks mate. Yeah safe and quite fortunate relative to how many others have fared. For me it's just stuff, mess and time, and it's mostly replaceable. My heart goes out to those who've lost everything, and have had little to no support from our wonderful government...

Alpheus Williams

Unfortunately...the Tweed, Byron area have gotten squat...and unfortunately with this Government it's very believable.

michael payne

Well done team wright on the money Mike and Wendy

Cranky Curlew Productions

Fabulous work once again Giordano but I am amazed by the new revelations about the Beetaloo oligarch escaping sanctions and wondering if there's any way that might be slipped in? Totally get it if too late but it's a helluva connection. I live in the north and any extra attention on Beetaloo and it's shitfuckery is so welcome!

David Bishton

Thanks for being so shit-fucking direct - it appears that’s what we’re left with.

Chuck Wark

Well done for yet another searing vid. Thoughts & prayers for the Sharma v Sussssssan Ley High Court appeal.

Ash Brown

Now I've heard this a few times and I still love it

Jay Wilson

saying this is brilliant is an understatement, bravo!

Joe Wade

So true and we know what we have to do.

Redreamer - Wendy Bandurski

i know. My dad died this morning. How fucked up is it... the first thought i had was..... at least he isn't going to have to deal with what is coming. I am 'almost' glad. But my dad was such a rock. Argh. Adds a new weirdness to the now.
