A fantastic result! Finally I can stop ruminating on the train wreck of 2019. I've been working on the Caz for Cowper campain here in Coffs Harbour. We are still waiting for a result. The fact that it is so close is evidence of how the political tide is moving against that LNP. Even if we don't win, the Nats will never again take our votes for granted. I feel this new parliament will be the best ever. A Labor minority with 12-15 independents - mostly smart professional women. Finally our nation can move forward from the "dark age" of Australian politics. Huge thanks to you Juicers ! I can’t remember a single time where an election result has made me as happy and optimistic and hopeful and proud as this one has. I followed the horrible state of US politics and divisiveness and watched as the coalition adopted those same tactics here. What a great result that Australians have shown what a truly progressive and intelligent people they are.
