Steve is a character in another webcomic, "Questionable Content". Willis is friends with the author, Jeph Jacques. It's an ensemble cast. Apparently, people had been messaging him lots and lots demanding to know what Steve was up to. So, in the middle of a dramatic story line, Jacques cut to a whole comic of just Steve eating cereal. The caption was, "You needed to know."

If Jocelyne wasn't noticeably taller than Joyce, I can envision the two of them re-enacting the mirror scene from DUCK SOUP when a stunned Joyce gets off the elevator. Screw it, I'm still envisioning it and will be disappointed when it doesn't happen. Only slightly, though - this is a wonderful reveal, and well worth the agonizing wait.

No, QC is its own story. In the current storyline, there is a wedding between two women. A rich heiress has just discovered she might be bi, and is being helped through this existential crisis by a woman who also thought she was 100% straight until she met her current girlfriend, a retired battle mech robot. Now if that doesn’t make you want to read it, I don’t know what will.

@Harrison Fuller: The two comics are not set in the same universe, but I believe there have been a couple of occasions where characters from each have crossed over to make cameo appearances.

As a transwoman who has been trying to juggle self-care while checking in and supporting lots of friends, my reaction to this is bringing up a lot of emotions in a hugely exhausted soul. I honestly cannot tell the intent of your comment. Hoping it is more a joke on my cereal comment but my raw feelings are that I was misconstrued as complaining about Jocelyn ever coming out in-comic. That is not my intent.
